I will assume those people giving good reviews about this broker are all scammers or work with them because I don't believe what y'all are saying. I couldn't withdraw my money with this company until I come across.
TD Ameritrade customer service is amazingly bad. When trying to do in kind transfer to another Custodian For my IRA, TD Ameritrade liquidated my account without permission or timely notification on there part. When ask why they didn't follow my wishes there reply was silence. Summarizing my experience with them Would "Life is short to put up with a bad brokerage firm" given the other option out there. Run away

I have yet to find a brokerage that I can give five stars to but four stars is pretty good as I would give most other firms 3 or less
I like the setup and the guys are knowledgeable when it comes to asking questions regarding option strategies which is not an easy topic to cover
I do love the customer service at TD! I love the 800 voice number where I can call to get stock quotes too. For someone like myself who is an active Day trader I do really like their platform but only problem I face time to time is that it can go down.:(
Overall, I've been with TD for over 15 years and will continue.

Everything is great but I wish they would issue a debit card like Schwab. They give you a check book which is useless if you live outside the US, Other than that issue everything else is superb
I feel very comfortable to work with TD Ameritrade, efficient, precise and of course quite reasonable with the fees.
I recommend every fellow who's intrested in a good broker to try TD.
I have been using this company (the name has been changed several times) and the web site for years. The site is very easy to navigate, trade, read expert's analysis. Mange the accounts, get stock and companies information, charts, company balance sheets..
Ameritrade is my favorite online brokerage - Their site is easy to use, trades are cheap ($10 base rate for equity trades), it's easy to get money in and out of my account, trading options is easy, they gave me a margin account, and they send me all my tax information. I've found Ameritrade somewhat easier to use than ETrade and Charles Schwab which are both more expensive.
