“Just found this website as I was sifting through all...”

Just found this website as I was sifting through all of the recent new spam sites. Feels like finding a diamond among all of the rocks. This site really is quite the discovery. I really like this idea and it would make a good xmas gift for anyone who cooks. My idea is to take all of my mom's recipes that she keeps on index cards and convert them into a book as her present.

“All my family recipes over the years, gone, just gone”

Tammy K.

I can't even give them a 1 star rating, this is so wrong that they deleted the recipe database. Hours, months and years of working on my recipe books just gone? Does anyone know if a lawsuit has been filed against them?

When I received the cookbooks I had made as Holiday gifts for family memebers, I was absolutely delighted. The books are professional and quite wonderful. My only complaints are that when ordering a number of them, they are pricey if you opt for the 100 recipe versions; and that there is no telephone customer service, at least not unless they call you!

However, I subsequently discovered that some of the recipes in my family cookbook, which had been marked private, seemed to be publiuc-- i. E. finable on google. I have spent over a week trying to get tastebook.com to rectify this situation and discovered that the problem was my own cookies on my computer. Just posting this so that if it happens to you, you can clear your cookie cache to make sure your recipes are indeed private.
