Target is my favorite one-stop shop for everything from groceries to home decor to clothing. The store layout is well-organized, making it easy to find what I need, and the prices are competitive. I also appreciate Target's commitment to sustainability and their diverse range of products. Whether I'm stocking up on essentials or treating myself to something special, Target always delivers.
I tried to make a PayPal payment but received errors. I called PayPal and they said there was no issue with my account, I understood. I paid for an order using PayPal earlier today and for other orders lately and there were no PayPal payment issues. I then called Target and spoke to a woman who thought it was a PayPal account issue. She couldn't understand that the problem was with their OWN website. I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and then I was disconnected. I called again and asked to speak to a manager or supervisor but was told basically she couldn't transfer me and or there was no one to transfer me to. She also could not understand that the errors were because of their OWN website after telling her multiple times that there was no problem ordering an item earlier today and also at other times too lately, I believe I may have said using PayPal. Finally, I disconnected the call.
I think that prices could be lower than what the store has them at and that it should jack the prices up because of the store name and that quality of the stuff should also be important to them and not the price and that customer service could be better or at least more polite and that it could have the layout of the store easier to get around in and understand where things are at.
I went to target to buy a present for my friend for his birthday. When I was looking, I went into the bathroom, and when I walked in there, somebody was having an entire graduation party in there. Every stall was taken up, they had presents stacked up to the ceiling in every stall, and had a big graduation cake on top of the sinks. There was probably 10 people in there. It gave me a headache. But other than that, I found everything I needed at target, and I will definitely be back again (as long as there's no more bathroom parties, I think its a tiktok trend).
I went to target to restock on my favorite microwaved pizza but i couldnt find it so i asked one of the employeses but the moment i inhaled a small portion of oxygen my nostrils were met with the fate of death and were clogged by the most outrageous stinkiest smelliest odor i have ever sniffed in my LIFE. Please give your workers free/or at least a discount on hygiene products and encourage them to shower more often. Thank You.
Buyer beware of Target.com - I recently made a purchase on Target.com - wherein I had to navigate through pop up boxes which tried to sell me a "protection plan" for the item I bought. Which was a simple $40 desk lamp. The pop up is automatically set to "yes, protect me" - you can't click the X - as I though as I was charged for the plan. In the Order Detail on my account, it said it's non-refundable. It took a phone call and a nice customer service person to refund me the money charged for the plan. Which is why I give Target.com 3 stars vs. 1. Someone in their Marketing Department needs to be fired for conducting business this way. Are your finances in that much peril Target?
So my mom & I decided we needed a few things from Target today. When we got in the store there was an Obnoxious honking, and beeping noises all throughout the store. When we asked two different employees what was going on they ignored my mother and myself and just walked away. The sound carried throughout the store for almost an hour. By then we had to just leave. No items bought no answers to our questions rude customer service. I don't think I will be returning.
I find Target about third on my list of stores to shop in. Meijer's is my first choice followed by Walmart. Seem to have much better products and prices. The atmosphere seems better for shopping while the two aforementioned are much busier at least in my hometown.
I like Target, it's been one of my favorite stores so far. I've bought clothes that last for years and they still are in good conditions. I spend more time that I plan, whenever I go there
Went in to find Botanics face cream which they had been stocking. Gone and only No7 available on shelves with no price for any of that merchandise. Checked on line for Botanics which looked like they had it but didn't. Probably could order but I was already in the store. You never know what brands will be there or gone. Not my go to store.
This is our last visit to Target. It's only self checkout. Although it is a good way to steal an item, I prefer a person to check out my stuff.
Tip for consumers:
It’s not the fault of those who work there
White there is nothing wrong with Target, per se, it is however just another brick in the wall of American retail mediocrity in this day and age,
Yes, you can find just about any type of household or clothing goods at one of these stores, but the items will have been made in China and of questionable quality.
The retail experience in the US now is so homogenized, that you could be anywhere from Tucson... to Atlanta... to Akron... to Little Rock... and each marketplace would be the same: vast wastelands of Targets, Walmarts, BB&Bs, Lowes, Home Depots, etc.
Anyway back to Target -- I guess it is convenient, predicttable, offers lots of parking -- but just not that inspirational.
It's kind of funny... some of us call it "Tarjay."
Three stars -- meh.
…the website is sooo iffy. Sometimes it works, sometimes it won't load. Sometimes you can find what's in your store, sometimes you can't. There have also been times I've tried to add something that was *definitely* in stock to my cart, but when I hit the add button the site freaked out and told me that item was unavailable. I prefer shopping at Target in person, the app or website can be a bit unreliable.
Target does an OK job at delivery. I ordered my shorts 6-17 and I got it 6-25. They don't do a good job at communicating, and when I got my order the bag was dirty. My shorts were good quality but delivery was confusing.

Be aware of the changing delivery dates

I think face masks being mandatory for customers and employees two months after a pandemics starts is ludicrous! Target is smarter than this! Why be a sheep falling in line with a long list of ridiculous "protection" policies for a virus we all need to gather up immunity for anyway?! So a few pompous idiots are making a deal about it? Stand strong and be proactive and safe but be wise Target! There's enough craziness going on besides a store trying appease the "crazy". I think due diligence in knowing some real educated information is great but plexi guards, gloves... and soap and water is ENOUGH. Face masks mandatory for guests and employees is just not necessarily. Especially now at this time! I refuse to shop (or work) where I'm being forced to go against what I believe and it's a violation of our constitutional rights as an American!
There are enough safeguards in place without making this mandatory, it should be optional. This is NOT. A lethal virus to healthy average people and the ones who aren't should be quarantined.
STOP THE INSANITY AND PANIC TARGET, you're better than that!
Nothing special. Pricey compared to Walmart. Dont have a real selection of plus sized clothes so I dont really shop their much. Everything else is more expensive. Dont sell groceries.
In the target near me, there is too many bright colors and there's too many bright lights. Maybe my eyes are just sensitive (I'm goth so I just sit in my bedroom in the dark lolz) but I seriously am not a fan of this place. Also the floors are always really slippery and are a weird texture. And the music is too loud. Other this this, it's a decent place for shopping.
Tip for consumers:
Depends on the location but go at ur own risk
This shop used to be trendy and have nice clothes to buy. But now I don't like their style. I can't find anything for myself. High prices for what they sell now.
Got pants there and was so excited since none of my jeans fit after I got so far along and they would not stay up at all. Wore once and never had time to return. So waste of like $30. Got 2 maternity bras there and although they are my size my breasts both popped out of the top, got a beautiful dress there but it always slides back and like chokes me, got a t-shirt there with a long back and it's stayed nice and finally got a pair of blue pajamas w a lemon print and after 1 wash they looked 10 years old and the straps are uncomfortable around my shoulders and armpit. My maternity shorts are good though and I wore them a lot. So some good and some bad. About 10% good and 90% bad. Also got a beautiful flowy dress for my sisters wedding to wear after giving birth and it was really nice. Thanks
I love Target but have been disappointed in their clothes for a couple of years. Now your clothing buyer is pushing Little House on the Prarie clothing. So disappointed. My 3rd year not going to Target to look for clothing.
I used to really like Target, but I have noticed lately that their prices are not as competitive and the changes to cartwheel are still leaving me confused! I am not a computer person and cartwheel was just perfect, not sure why they went and changed it, but now I can't even take advantage of the new system. I am also getting tired of how many coupons they take. I know some people try to fraudulently use coupons, but when I have 4 coupons and I have bought ALL 4 products it gets irritating when they tell you, you can't use that many in 1 purchase. I am on a tight budget and need to save money, I follow the rules of the coupons, but it seems that companies no longer use common sense. It seems as if we are being penalized for those who misuse coupons. I know Target isn't the only store who is starting this trend with the coupons, however I did think they were bright enough to be able to discern between someone who is trying to run a scam and a person who has bought the correct amount of products! After all I use my Target card, and I did use cartwheel before the change so it's not like they can't see my buying habits!
Comparing Target to Walmart is like comparing apples and oranges to me. Target has much better facilities and I find their prices equal to Walmart. I also find Target a much cleaner store and less cluttered than Walmart.
I ordered from the website on Saturday evening. Monday was a holiday so I'd think maybe Tuesday it would ship but certainly by midday Wednesday. It's now Wednesday, 10:15 am locally, 7:15 on the other side of the contiguous 48 states, and, after contacting customer service, I'm now aware that the order isn't expected to ship for 7 more days. However, they insist they cannot cancel the order because they're already "preparing" to ship the order. I'll be a lot more careful before ordering anything from these ppl. Their stores are fun places to kill time where you can buy stuff that ranges from miscellaneous decorative objects to toys to small appliances and household commodities. Return policy is typically good but this online purchase can't be returned until I receive it which feels like an azkick.

I purchased a pair of overalls through Target's website from another store in my state. It automatically prompted me to pay $5.99 for shipping. Didn't like the item so I decided to return it to my local store. I was able to get a full refund for yourself back on the credit card. However I was told by a know-it-all Young worker, that I should have never paid for shipping because my purchase was over $25. I was in given a toll free number to call which I did from their parking lot. It is 7 days later and I still have not received my refund period And I have made six phone calls and spoke with various CSR's. If there was a way for me not to pay for shipping, I would have found it. I do not feel that any customer should have to wait this long of a period of time and speak to various Representatives to have their money put back into their account in a timely manner.
Ordered last week Tuesday, still nothing, support is $#*!ing useless as well. Come on Target! Dont screw me over like that!

There is slow delivery, high prices. But products are of great quality. Delivery often come late and prices are unnecessarily high. But I admire the good quality of the products
