TackleDirect is one of a few online retailers that I turn to for gearing up for fishing. With a good selection and timely delivery, I'd rate them as a pretty good source.
I've been satisfied with the products I've received, having ordered from them a few times. Delivery time is decent. The impression I get is that they cater to the saltwater scene more than freshwater fishing, so this tends to be where I go for saltwater tackle acquisition. I will almost certainly order from them again, whenever I have to scratch that particular itch. Mostly, though, I fish freshwater.

Your site does not match up with inventory quantities in your warehouse so when I have ordered an item I then days later get an email saying you don't have it currently in stock. That is something that can easily be detected when you are on a site looking for an item.

I purchased the travel rod since I travel often and wanted a light tackle rod. I had purchased a major brand name travel rod for my son and wish I would have gotten him this one instead. The travel case is very sturdy and I could fit at least one or two more travel rods in there without even trying. I've used it several times to go fishing both inshore and offshore and both did the job well.

No matter where I see an interesting fishing product I always check tackle direct to see if they have it before I make an order. They usually do have it. The prices and service from TD are so reliable that I rely on them.

Twice I have ordered from the company and I will likely continue to do. I can find equivalent quality products locally, but at a higher cost because it's called specialty or custom order. I just care for a quality product at a reasonable cost.

TackleDirect has always been a go to for me. As for the items I've recently purchased, they're part of the arsenal I'm taking with me to fish in Punta Cana. I plan on sending back pictures of my catch.

I gave you 2 valid credit cards for payment and I got refusals due to issues in shipping, which gave on an earlier screen. Hence, I used Paypal and the same issue arose. I vacated the entire procedure and started over using Paypal and the purchase went through. Frustrating!

The initial order and delivery was great. BUT! Because of the fit it had to be exchanged. This is where I was disappointed. It took several weeks from the day I sent the return and received my package. Overall I'm happy with my purchase. But, the return delivery. AKA, long process and delivery time. Well... IT'S NOT GOOD,AT ALL...

I bought a pair of deck boots for my wife and myself. They are amazing we both love them. They kept our feet dry and warm while we were clam digging. We had lots of complements on them also. I will buy more in the furture

Product arrived in a timely fashion and correct. However this laytex tubing is much thicker than others. Yes, it is more durable but it sacrifices action in the water. If you are looking for diamond jig tails that impart action, this may not be for you.

Between you and other sites I am able to find what I need. You are fast and easy to use. I wish you would change the badge limited stock. I have fishing trips scheduled and when I need something, I cannot deal with if's and maybe's with shipping. Your 7-10 business exclusions does not get it. I need to know that it is in stock and ready to ship. This is why I look elsewhere. I want a diffident on what I am ordering. To many times I have paid for overnight shipping, only to find out it is coming from somewhere else which will take a week to process. So, why spend extra money to expedite shipping if after you find out it will still take a week or more to receive?

Received a rod with a broken tip

Repaired it my self because I did not want to wait around for another 4 weeks for a replacement.

On the upside I was reimbursed 10 bucks for the repair kit ok solution but it shouldn't have happened in the first place.

But lately I didn't understand what was going on with my order I tried and tried to get through an nothing was accomplished then one day Tyler called me with his results and shipped me another fishing rod, thank you Tyler

The quality of the items I bought i.e bass casting sinkers had better swivels than competitors. You offered Maxquatro by Power Pro that neither Bass Pro Shops or Cabela's carry.
I didn't get the discount as a new customer that were indicated the first time I visited your site, but after calling your customer service I received the discount no problem.
All and all a good experience.

I had an overall positive experience when shopping with tackle direct. The only negative was the cost of the item and the associated shipping of an item that Literally weighed ounces. Would like to see free shipping offed in the future for customers along with the ability to track your orders on line without having to make a phone call. I would recommend this site to others.

Finding what i needed was fine, but at checkout there was a glitch saying my credit card number didn't match. I tried the card 4 times, and even tried another card, with the same results. I finally had to go through amazon to process my order.

The original shipping information said there would be one package, but I received the shipment in two separate boxes over the span of a few days. I did receive everything, but it was confusing what was arriving when. I was satisfied in the end, but your system of tracking parcels could be improved.

A little confusing

A little confusing. Our interpretation of policy was if product not available in a period of time order would be canceled. After reordering at a later date, received confirmation that two orders were ready to ship. Was very satisfied with customer service when I called and explained it should only be one proxy and why it appeared two were ordered. Second product was cancelled and one was shipped and received in a very timely manner.

I ordered two frogs from tackle direct
May 20, 2020

I ordered two frogs from tackle direct. One was back ordered. I called and told the gentleman that if they didn't have both I wanted to cancel the order. 2 weeks later I received one and was told the other would be in in 2 days. A month later I'm still waiting for the second one. Very disappointed and will not use tackle direct again!
