This is probably one of the better investments in software I have made it a while. Being able to dictate a lot of the content I always produce including emails) has saved me countless of hours already. I bought the Dragon Dictate for Mac and I am actually using it right now to write this. Of course this is not going to be a slamdunk and the software will make mistakes which you have to correct; however, it is much better and faster to do this then manually typing. It also lets your hands rest which only helps your health. So I definitely recommend using this software as they are the leaders in the field.
Nuance managed Dragon Medical for my private practice … when COVID hit, I had to all but close up shop - I reached out to ask about cancelling my contract and was told there was no way out of my annual contract. A few months later, that annual contract AUTO-RENEWED! Which put me on the hook for another 12 payments! In 3 years, they have never been able to set up an account where I don't have to pay as a "guest", and do not have the "capability" to set up auto-pay … though they are apparently capable of auto renew. Disgusting.

Swype is the best app that helps you type on your Android phone. Way better than the keyboard and "swype" version that comes on Android phones. And it's free. The only downside is they collect and store the information you type. Fingers crossed that they don't use it for anything bad.
