Took a month for items to be listed, I sent numerous emails asking when items would be listed. Suggested listing prices was extremely too low for name brand items such as Eddie Bauer, Clarks, Ann Taylor Loft, Gap. Pictures are not as good as i can take and post on EBay. Two items have been listed with the incorrect size. I wished I had just listed clothing and shoes on ebay. I am an experienced seller on ebay but sell antique and vintage items mostly. Next time i will make the effort and sell clothing items on ebay, not happy with Swap.com.
I recently placed another order w/swap.com and I am just amazed with the quality of the tops I ordered. They may be gently used, but they are like new. I have almost a new wardrobe for just dollars. I can also shop from home since I am handicapped and don't get out much. Thank you for a sight that is so pleasing.
I've been waiting for 14 (business days) for my refund. I keep getting the same canned response (your refund could take up to 10 business days). I have a feeling I wont be seeing it anytime soon. Be sure what you buy wont need to be returned. You might as well give it to Goodwill.
Over the past 2 or 3 years, I've sent 3 large boxes full of clothes to Swap and had no issues. The items sold and I received my money. So a year after I send my last box, I logged into my account to get a shipping label for another box only to find that you have to be accepted as a "Premier Seller" and send in a minimum of 250 items. What? Are you joking? 250 items minimum? That's such a joke! And then I have to be "accepted" as a "Premier Seller". You guys are a consignment shop and most people looking to sell on consignment don't have 250 pcs of clothing just laying around to sell. At this point, I'd rather give the clothes away for free than send them to Swap.
I ordered three items, one of which was way too large for me. When I went to their website for a refund, they issued me a store credit and didn't even ask me to send the item back. Talk about customer service!

Ever since I've found Swap.com it's been great. Swap.com is an online consignment shop that sells baby, toddler, kids and women's clothes and shoes. These clothes are used, but in very good condition. Most of the clothes are all name brand clothes.
Love this site, prices are great. Clothes were clean, in very good condition. This site cleary has standards for the items sold on their page. I would gladly purchase from this site again, and definitely share this site with others. Thank you!
I wanted to like Swap.com because I love getting slightly used good quality clothes. However, I am very unhappy with my experience with their return policy and customer service. DO NOT BELIEVE it when they state that "we offer 100% refund guarantee for purchases". They do not. I found out after I filled out the return form that they only offer refunds for certain types of returns. They disputed with me that the clothes smelled of smoke and only offered me a store credit. And they didn't seem to care at all about my satisfaction.
Just look at their shipping label costs 19.99 that comes out of whatever you make they sell your stuff extremely low prices. Then if it doesn't sell they can mark it down until they donate it? If they donate who knows they can do what they want with it. They worked out perfect little skim for themselves in a win win situation. In which they get a huge tax right off for. The box you send in they'll charge you 12.99 to send it back your in the hole 34.00 before you even make a sale for pennies. Sell your stuff on Ebay, or Posh.
I have bought kids' clothing repeatedly throughout the past year or so. I have not been dismayed by anything that I have purchased through them. If an item doesn't fit or I decide I don't like it once it gets here, it can be returned for full refund. I really enjoy shopping this site!
Discovered this site on Facebook and it gave me access to incredible deals on clothes of various sizes. The site describes the clothing and their present condition. It also offers multiple options in varying conditions of the same item. Your choices arrive on time and even earlier than expected. I'm very pleased and will continue to use their service.
Just as everyone else is saying- you send a big box of your stuff and they accept hardly any of it. Some of the stuff that they refused was matching sets with tags! When I asked about it they told me I needed to review the acceptance policy... and if I want my clothes back I have to pay to ship them back! What a trap!
Swap.com is better than going into a thrift store and spending hours in the store. As a working mom with a 2 year daughter I have been able to get great value for my money for myself and my daughter. My husband even wishes he could buy mens items on the site lol. Great staff and great customer service.
I have been shopping on Swap.com for quite some time now. I have never been disappointed with my purchases or their customer service. I did send an item back once as I didn't care for the way it fit. Everyone I have had contact with has been very helpful and polite. I have a hard time getting around so shopping on line has been one of my favorite things to do. Swap.com is the first place I go.
I have found this site to be the best if you are looking for childrens clothes or toys. Have bought numerous items and have been pleased each time. The customer service and delivery could not be better. Give them a try you will be satisfied!
Swap use to be a decent site to sell things you sent to them. But it was wonderful when I first went boxes in. But little by little things got worst. What they charge you to ship a box went up. Picky that they would only pay by using fedex. The layout use to be decent and I could price my stuff my self. Well that has changed and they price the stuff and the pay is real low now. Plus it takes forever for them to process your items. No more as it is a rip off now. Went from a great place to a bit disappointment in only 2 years. Stay away! I just got 60 cents for a shirt.
I purchase items a handful of times from Swap. The last order I placed, 4 items were sent that did not fit my child - as in, I think they were sent to Swap because the size was way off from what the tag stated. I returned, and noted a store credit was issued rather than the refund I requested. After 2 e-mails with customer service, I was told that only in the event the products are not as described or are defective would I be issued a refund in the original form of payment. If a tag states a size but the garment does not fit per the tag, I argued this is "different than described", but received a response that this is not their interpretation and my card would not be refunded. Highly disappointed and just want my money back - not the risk of purchasing something that does not fit again only to get into a perpetual cycle of order/store credit.
I just stumbled on this site one day while looking for a way to make a little extra pocket change online. It is great. I get wonderful deals on clothes for the kids and I get some extra money for stuff that they no longer wear. I will keep visiting Swap.com

Although the shipping was slower than other sites I've used I cannot contain myself when I say that even my $3-$5 items had NO flaws on them! I've never received that from a used clothing site before! Paying was also hassle free! BEST used clothing site in my book! Thanks Swap.com!
Answer: I have only placed one order so far. I ordered 10 blouses. I returned 5, due to size issues. All 10 blouses were nice, but 5 did not fit quite right due to different manufacturer's. You need to get an RMA # for returns. I was promptly refunded my money for the 5 blouses. I would order again in the future. I am not aware of any return quantity restrictions. Hope this helps.
Answer: If you want to sell clothes, all the information is on their website. Basically, they get a percentage and then they pay you thru an existing PayPal account that you set up.

Answer: Same here, I sent a box in June and have received nothing nothing saying it was accepted or rejected absolutely nothing. I've sent 5 emails and nothing. I will be contacting the better business bureau as well.
Answer: I don't think so. I've sold and from my experience it varies. The things that I thought would sell first, haven't sold yet. It varies by what people are looking for at the time. I've bought all different seasons at random times. I buy by what's a great deal. When selling, group like items together. I've noticed multiple things sell first.

Answer: There's no way for them to go over prices. They have to see the items and determine from going over it, if it's acceptable, once it's accepted, then you have to determine the price you want to sell it for. You could try searching on their site for similar items and see what they are priced at. I did notice when pricing my items that I'd get a little notice with recommended prices, which was very helpful. I didn't have a good experience selling but many others have. Make sure you take pictures of your items, that's very important. I appreciated that their site is set up to allow you to take back your items if you changed your mind about selling them. I'm in the process of getting back my items. Hopefully it works out well and I get all my items back.
