Worst Survey Site Ever

If you enjoy late disqualifications from long, tedious survey's that you've completed--if you enjoy AI bots blocking you from survey's accusing you of not taking your time and/or of answering questions dishonestly--if you want to ask customer service for their help with regard to ANYTHING that's an issue or a problem and never get an answer in a timely manner (or at all), then this is your kind of place. It's a hot mess. Their annoyances far outweigh their "point's" that they so generously offer in lieu of decent surveys and real money. I'm ashamed of myself for trying to grin and bear it for as long as I have. There are many other excellent survey platforms out there, Survey Junkie is not one of them. Good luck!

This website uses DECEPTIVE advertising to list surveys that will post huge rewards for taking a survey, but almost as quickly as you are notified, will disqualify you from taking the survey. Also, the company lists BONUS opportunities where you complete 3or more surveys worth 25 or more points for 7 days to get a 500 point bonus, but then disqualifies you from completing the high point surveys to qualify for the 500 point bonus. Overall this is a TOTAL SCAM and waste of your valuable time.

I was 50 points away from cashing out when Survey Junkie stopped sending me further surveys. The homepage is blank. I've contacted customer service multiple times but they never responded. Their social media team is also unresponsive.

I have been trying to cash out for over 2 weeks, it won't allow me to take or load of picture of my ID. Tech support won't answer my emails or call me. Stealing from people after you spent the time to complete the surveys. What a waste.

WASTE OF TIME

I really like doing surveys as i am very opinionated and like to say what is on my mind and help the polls in the meantime and also make money doing it. So i joined Survey Junkie in hopes to accomplish all this but to no avail DID NOT GET MY REWARD AS PROMISHED BECAUSE YOU CANNOT GET THROUGH TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE LINK THAT YOU NEED TO ACCESS TO DO AN ID VERIFICATION DOESN'T WORK SO YOU NEED TO TALK TO SOMEONE BUT NEVER GET A CHANCE TO. I ACCUMULATED 1000 POINTS AND WANTED TO REDEEM THEM AND STILL CAN'T. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME LIKE I DID. I JOINED IPSOS FOR DOING SURVEYS AND DID NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS REDEEMING MY WELL DESERVED REWARD. THANK YOU IPSOS AND I WILL CONTINUE TO DO SURVEYS ON YOUR SITE.

When I started doing surveys 4 years ago, Survey Junkie became my favorite! The code system and payouts get easier to understand the longer you use their method! The long code they give to get your payout can be copied and pasted, and that makes it easier. Or if you write them down, make sure you get the code exactly! Be sure to follow all the rules and then it works well.
For the last year, I have noticed that I put in the time and solid effort to complete the whole survey and then at the end, oops, this survey is full or maybe at that point, they find I am disqualified! What?
So they get your opinion but pay out nothing or 2 or 3 cents! Where do those points or cents go? So I've given 30 minutes of my precious time for 2c!
My other gripe is putting 3 to 5 surveys in one survey! Yesterday, I completed a 70 point survey that included 5 different topics representing 5 different types of businesses and took way longer than the prognosticated 10 minutes! More like 40 minutes!
There are a bunch of us that need this supplemental money to survive! Yes, it's true! Get back to being good, Survey Junkie!

Was great, but now?

I have used SJ for a couple years now and had no problems until now. All of a sudden, I don't get any surveys and can't get a payout for $13.09 because my "account needs a review", but I can't get an answer from customer support to do that. I hope their problems are solved soon because I was really happy with them before.

When I first joined, it was great. Lots of surveys. Now I can't seem to get any surveys. They have surveys on the board and when you click on it, it says... oops... this survey is closed or you don't qualify and what really gets me is when it says you don't qualify before even asking the initial questions. It's like since making a certain amount of money, they cut you off. It's awful but I continue because it's one of the only sites that do direct deposit. Another thing recently is certain companies surveys won't load.

Survey junkie sucks!

They give you a review for 200 or 300 points and halfway through they kick you out and give you 2 or 3 pennies for your 20 minutes time. So they get your time for pennies. Scam!

They oay you but barely anything. But they also NEVER let you take surverys that pay more. They just send u back to the main page. And they also let you go 95% of the survery (which could take 30 mins) and then just blank you rpage out and you get NO POINTS AT ALL> DO NOT GET THIS APP. BIGGEST WASTE OF TIME EVER! 1 STAR ISNT EVEN GOOD ENOUGH> THIS SHOULD HAVE 0 STARS!

It's a great site surveys are great you can cash out at 5$ but I only have one problem that bugs me sometimes when I do a survey or start one I get rejected and this message pops up saying you been disqualified for breaking one of our rules eta I awnsered honesty I never lie in my questions what rule did I break everything I put in my questions are truthful I don't mind the 2 or 3 pts at least I can save them it's the breaking rules message that always seem to pop up I been using this site for years and I always successfully cashed out I hate for them to lose someone who is loyal and is happy to be with a survey company who isn't run by scam artists who refuse to pay for surveys that means you branded surveys and crowd tap both are not whom I recommend they'll ban you soon enough when you get close to cashing out but survey junkie is great just wish they would let me finish my surveys though.

Please stay far away from this fraudulent business. They will have you take this long surveys only to not be rewarded with the points. I have just completed 1 25minute survey in which the payment was suppose to be 175 points which is the equivalent to $1.75 - I fully completed the survey 100% and was told that i would be redirected back to survey junkie… if not click the link… so I clicked the link and low and behold, the points did not show up… this gas happened to me several times… this site is Fraud and I will be reporting them.

Bad, not good.

"Scam" isn't necessarily the word I'd use, but it's not a good website. When you initially sign up, it mostly works and you can accumulate points at a relatively acceptable clip. But, like others here have mentioned, after the first time that I redeemed points, there seemed to be a huge shift. From this point, I started qualifying for fewer and fewer surveys, to the degree that I've occasionally spent like an hour clicking every survey offered to me and not qualifying for a single one. Worse, they've now developed a bug where you'll get through an entire survey (status bar at 100%, "thank you for completing our survey!") only to have it say "Sorry, you didn't qualify for this survey" after it redirects to the main page. This has become an incredibly common thing, spending 20-25 minutes on a survey only to finish it and still not get points. This wasn't a super common feature when I initially signed up, but I've noticed that it's gotten more and more common, to the degree that when I do bother to try to use the site, I just avoid surveys longer than 15 minutes because of how tiring it gets.

On a similar note, the actual advertised time to complete an assessment listed on the landing page and the actual survey time once you open the survey is often radically different. You'll click on a 10 minute survey and then the survey itself will say 30 minutes; I've had multiple where it advertised 15 minutes and when I opened it, it asked me to watch a 45 minute television show.

And then there's the buggy nature of a lot of the surveys. The amount of times that you open a survey only to get stuck in a loop of answering the same qualifying questions for minutes at a time, before it inevitably kicks you out for lack of eligibility. If you see the words "Spectrum Surveys," you might as well just close the tab because it's going to do this to you. Worse are the ones that just bounce you from loading screen to loading screen before finally just re-directing you to the main site without asking you any questions.

On top of this is the endless emails. I get that you want to advertise to your user base but there's something mildly insulting about getting a ton of emails about supposedly available surveys that you don't actually qualify for.

Overall, I think if you can use the initial stretch prior to your first redemption to accumulate a couple of hundred bucks, it can be useful, but long-term it seems like it's designed to decrease your rewards over time.

Getting Ripped Off

My biggest complaint is spending 30 mins on a survey and it locks up at the end and you don't get to submit it so you get no points for doing it at all.

Awful

Forces you to give up phone number, address, zip code, personal bank information, ect just to earn little money. It is a site that will get you hacked and scammed for any real life possessions you may own. When I decided to finally give my information (redundantly) to claim, they took my info and forced me to speak to a scammer on the phone who then tried to hack into my bank account and take all of my money.

Rippoffs

You finish a review they say you don't qualify but here's 2 post after 20 minutes of wasted time all they want is your personal info to sell to online groups who buy your personal info. When I tried to close account and have my info removed they would not accept my email return verification. Total scam artists
