A business who is cashless should raise a red flag. I went in to SunTan City in Ashland, KY on June 18th last year and paid the prorated amount for the month of June with my debit card. $18.55 is what I paid. I went back in on June 29th and paid for July. I paid my monthly spray membership fee, which I was told in Ashland would be $63.59. That's what I paid on June 29th for July. I was paid up until August 1st.
On July 4th Suntan City tried to charge me $64.19, causing me an overdraft fee of $35. On 7/14/23 they took another $64.19 out of my account. (My account was cancelled July 17th). On 7/24 they tried to take out $25 from my account causing me an overdraft fee of $35. Then, 3 days later, on 7/27 they tried to take $25 out of my account again, causing me another $35 fee. When I called, they told me that they can't tell me what the charges were for. I had to call their 3rd party vendor called E Cash Flow. I called *******062) and their automated answering machine stated that if you leave a message, they will not call you back. You have to e-mail them.
I received one refund of $35 dated 7/21. I received another refund of $63.59 dated 7/14. (That one was taken back out of my account the same day they dated my check, so that cancelled that refund out cause they took it back out again. So, basically, I didn't receive the refund for the $63.59, uness you want to count 60 cents as a refund. They said I didn't pay enough on 7/29). I received another check for $35 dated 8/11.
So, they still owe me one $35 overdraft fee and a monthly payment they refunded me "as a courtesy" and then took back out of my account. So, they owe me $99.19 still. BBB would not help me because Sun Tan City wrote back and said they would take care of it and did not.
I wanted to go back again and see how it went and I have a few times and nothing has changed. That's why I waited to write a review. I was also told numerous time within the last year that they would take care of me and they never did.
