The shoes we purchased were dry rotted. They looked great, but with first wear the plastic disintegrated. We tried to complete a return, online. I followed the instruction exactly and it continuously gave me an error. My husband read the directions and then tried to complete the return, but received the same error when uploading the pictures. There was no other contact information available. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. There should always be a way to reach customer service. This has resulted in a loss of my business.

If there was any other platform where I could buy and sell sneakers with as much ease I would never use StockX again. Their fee structure is absolutely ridiculous and borders on predatory. Whether I'm losing $40 on a sale or adding $40 to a purchase, there's many times I have changed my mind while looking at the financial breakdown. I understand that businesses need to fund themselves but if there's a potential that I'm buying replicas instead of authentic originals from a site, maybe chill out out the fees then.

I've got authentic shoes from Stock X and fake shoes as well. Ever since I got a fake, I always question everything I get from them. It's unfortunate and I hesitate buying from them.
Sold a pair on 10/1/22. Shipped to you and you didn't verify them, which was odd cause I bought them from Nike but when I reached out asking why they failed, you emailed me saying you made a mistake and would want me to ship back to you and then I would receive my payout. Well it's 2023 and I have no money or shoe's. Just sitting here waiting for some communication from them instead of me reaching out every month since October.

You provided a better service early in 2021/2022. Now you've changed the guarantee of authenticity, no more authenticity tags, slower processing rates as of late, and I don't feel anymore like I can trust getting a genuine product versus smaller sneaker stores I trust. When you pay the premium that you are asking for on products, we need to feel assured as customers and I no longer do. I would trust eBay over StockX right now, and I think that says a lot about how they've strengthened their offerings to both buyers and sellers, while StockX has continued to fray in both aspects.
I have heard horror stories about the site from fakes to shipping nightmares but I haven't ever had a single problem with the site. Maybe i am lucky and stockx just blesses me with legit stuff but buying and selling shoes, clothing and collectibles has been extremely easy. As long as im treated this way i see no reason to stop using this site.

There are two ways to purchase on the marketplace. A Bid signals your intent to buy - it is your financial offer for an item on StockX and can be accepted at any time. A Bid will remain active until it is accepted, expired, or canceled. You can also purchase an item outright at the lowest Ask as a Buy Now.
Placing 2 Bids means you are looking to place 2 orders, this is why you had a duplicate purchase as you placed 2 different Bids. In order to update an existing Bid without placing a new Bid for a new order you have to do so via your Buyers account.
