“Unprofessional treatment and clearly they don't care about new patrons.”

I own a 2010 Audi and it was time for an oil change. I had received a coupon in the mail "get aquanited" price for an oil change and assessment of needs. I called yesterday to schedule and appointment and was surprised to be told they could schedule me for today (02/27/18). I scheduled to bring my car in at 9:00 A.M. and was planning to wait however, I was advised they had shuttle service so I decided to go home and get some work done while I waited. At 2:00 P.M. I still had not heard from them. I called and was advised that in fact they had not yet even begun however, I was told they were just getting ready to put it on the rack. I asked for an estimated time when my car would be ready and was put on hold. When he finally returned to the phone he advised he did not know when the car would be ready but it would be completed by closing 5:00 P.M. it was further stated that one of the technicians had to leave and they were running behind. I had a few errands to run and a standing social engagement at 6:00 P.M. which I explained to the gentleman on the phone. He became very abrupt with me and advised my car was still sitting in their lot and I was welcome to come get it. I was quite taken back and indeed asked for the shuttle to come pick me up. Let me add I am and elderly woman (69 years old and I live alone with only one vehicle). I noted when I picked my car up that the other cars that had been in the parking lot, near where I parked when I dropped my car off, where no longer there. I am very disappointed in this situation and will advise anyone I know that this is not a reliable service provider. Had they even called me and let me know there was a problem I may have felt better about this situation. As it is I am not convinced that my car would have been ready by closing and that I would not have been notified and it would have sat over night.
