Although I shop at Staples for supplies, my last visit was solely to solve a problem that I was having with my Samsung tablet. This very knowledgeable associate spent about 15 minutes figuring out what was wrong and advising me what to do with it. He did not ask to be compensated for his time and he did not suggest any product to purchase. I have found Staples staff to be very willing to help and not impose anything on me, which is why I feel very comfortable going there with questions or to get supplies.
I usually go to staples in Mount Vernon NY and the store usually is empty except for the Marketing printer department which the line is very long and you have to be prepared to wait at least 2 hours in order to be helped. This department needs more people working it's really not acceptable the waiting time we spend on the line just to request something simple. I hope this message can be noticed and heard. Thank you

I run a business and ordered ink from Staples on a Monday. They claim free next-day delivery, that is a lie. I checked my order's status on Tuesday, and the item didn't ship. I contacted customer service and she said it would arrive on Wednesday mysteriously not long after the call I got a shipping notice. The next day I got an email stating the delivery driver left my order at the warehouse and now it will be arriving on Thursday. I contacted customer service and after a 30-minute back and forth she offered me a 20% discount. Save yourself the time and stick to Amazon.
I work from home. Because I am on oxygen - I do not drive. I have 61 empty ink cartridges to return to Staples. THEY will not allow me to return them and get credit with my rewards so I can purchase other items. They said I can only return 10 at a time and I need to purchase $50.00 in ink to even get the rewards for returning the ink. THEY are not helpful at all and will not make any exceptions.

They are horrible and will not work with you when you have health issues.
This service provided by staples is a joke. You are treated much better by TSA agents at the airport. Attendant was rude and I would not shop in the Fairfield store if everything was half price

I bought a laptop and additional items totaling $700 I paid with a Visa credit card, the charge went through no problem. The clerk said oh excuse me I must void that transaction I forgot to write up the sale correctly but don't worry about it your credit card will not be charged twice the first charge will not go through. Well that's what he thought it did go through, my bank saw it as fraudulent activity and closed the card! No one at Staples is willing to take responsibility they say it's the banks fault and I am just upset over nothing. Well it's the only credit card I have and now I have to wait 5-7 business days for a new card. I have to call all the accounts that are on auto pay when I get the new card and inform them of the new number. All because the clerk forgot how to ring up the sale properly. Doesn't anyone know how to do their job? What makes matters worse is no one at Staples would even take responsibility! It was just a matter of placing the blame on someone else. I would never ever do business with them again!
I placed an on-line order of 2 cartons of 10 foam boards measuring 30x40. These can only be purchased on line because of their size. They can only be ordered by the carton so they can be shipped safely and not damaged. Well, I received two boards! Just two. Someone actually opened a carton, took two boards out and wrapped the bottom and top with plastic and sent them to me. Of course they were damaged. I laughed this off with Kristine, the very nice Staples service rep. She reordered my boards. Staples actually sent out a huge truck to pick up the two damaged boards but didn't have my replacement order on that truck. ( What a waste of time). Just got off the line and now they say my replacement has been lost and I cannot reorder as they are sold out. Pretty ridiculous to me! Now I have to wait for my $116. Refund! Staples- get your act together! I will shop elsewhere now as I still need those foam boards.

Phone number is not answered, chat does not work. Ordered printer on 11/27 and order said it would be delivered on 11/29. Checked their site order and today it has not been processed. I can't cancel the order and have no idea of when it will delivered since I cannot get in touch with them. Will not buy again from them!
I worked in the Staples in Orleans Massachusetts. The managers are selfishly motivated and are holding on for dear life because the store is tanking. I was abused by someone who was asked to step in because there was lack of help he fired me never met him before for asking if he wanted help. Can we say women haters. Do not go to work for them you will not be happy and Staples sure doesn't give a flying f***
I went to Staples to print some documents and asked for someone to help me because I can't figure out the self service machines.There were 2 women behind the counter neither were busy with customers and didn't look busy with anything except talking to each other.When I asked for help they told me no.They don't help with printing anymore.So helping customers is no longer something Staples does.I will find a new office store
My shipment was stolen and replaced with an a keyboard by somebody and repackaged before it's delivered to me and once I contact them they mention that it's not there problem and you should get your money back from the bank. What a ridiculous service they have. They don't appreciate the customer. How come a big company would reply to a customer like that. Shame on you guys.
I bought an item from staples because they promised to deliver the next day! And it was urgent for me, I received an email that the shipping was delay for the very next day. The next day I received another email that the shipping was delayed for 4 days!
I called the customer service they said the delivery is out of our hands and we can't do thing about it.

What a bad service with a bad management
Ordered a laptop from them and it never came they're blaming it on third parties saying they'll send a replacement which is a total inconvenience to me whether I refund or wait on replacement because my funds will be tied up for 3-5 business days I don't want your laptop or your business in what world do place an order and can never track the order I've been in the clouds on where my laptop is ever since I placed the order and still haven't received it yet give me back my money before I report you guys for fraud
I submitted a pdf file for printing at the Burlington store after 8 days they contacted me a said the file has problem and I need to submit a new file and pay again and they refund the previous payment at the store. I resubmitted a file and they never came back to me and canceled the task without any explanation after 10 days. I haven't seen anything like this before.
My son was in west Vancouver Stables with a friend looking at gaming PCs and to get his friends opinion on a desk and chair. Manager comes out of no where and tells them to "go now" and follows them out the store.My son just assumed maybe it was closing cause it's in a mall but he went back an hour later and the store was still open. So why were they randomly kicked out? No customer service at all! Extremely unprofessional.
Staples - Glendale Shoppes Indianapolis is trash and untrustworthy. There was an online order for a 1000 business cards and 2 days later they can't find my order and they can't find any information on me. How sad. The Manager kept apologizing saying the system was down but if the system was down and couldn't fulfill orders, wouldn't you THINK to send an email to these customers apologizing and letting them know ahead of time that their orders won't be fulfilled in a timely period?
My wife is back home in tears after her experience with tge manager at staples staples Saddle Brook New Jersey. Shae placed an order over the phone yesterday to get 304 cards and she was assured it ll be ready. Instead the manager rudely told her to finish cating the cards herself. She didn't even respect the fact that out little daughter was watching the whole scene. She is now home in tears after the disrespectful experience. The manager didn't ever want to give her tge receipt and told her you can find it in your phone.
I m going to sit her and finish cutting the cards one by one for tge evening just because some manager ego chosed not to do their job.
I visited your store number 31 on 3/10/23 at 9:55 am est. To purchase ink, envelopes and miscellaneous items. I asked the cashier if he could check to see if I had any rewards. Reluctantly, he finally did check and asked me not to make that request again but to print them prior to my visit. I was the only person in the store at the time. There are many other retail stores that carry these items. The cashier number is ******* and could probably brush up on his customer service skills. My rewards telephone number is *******229. Staples rewards is a scam. Employees at the store argue with customers. The merchandise is hard to find. You can't find anyone to help you. Inept management + indifferent staff = failure. Shop elsewhere.

I wanted to buy online a package of 5 Staples retractable pens at the displayed price of $5.94. But by the time I got to the checkout area (not easy) they had given me a different (more expensive item at $7.04), added sales tax of 43 cents and shipping at $9.95, so my one package of pens now totaled $17.42. Can you guess that I did NOT place the order? Also,, Chat is available only during business hours Eastern time. So if you are on the West Coast and want to chat at 6 pm. forget it. They are not available. I'll never buy anything from Staples.
This ghetto place can't even print a document because there print me system is way too slow and computers want to rob you and load really slow when we're paying by the minute I spend 38 dollars on 6 pages all by the minute then 2 dollars just for it being on color that's not including the actual print. Straight robbery, y'all need to get y'all store straight. Especially when people spending there money

I stood for fifteen minutes at the counter while 3 associates huddled together talking.I was totally ignored. I told associate at register n he said "Sorry about that" I called Corporate regarding this. I was told it will be addressed. Then went to UPS store and was taken care of immediately. Won't be going back to Staples!
Terrance Adams at Trussville,AL told me he " did not know what got my noodles boiling" when I questioned his return policy vs. company policy on my unopened, non expired ( expires next year) ink bought 5 1/2 months ago. He said it had been too long.
Guy was rude from the moment I walked in with my bag, glaring at me. No customers were at front, and he was short, snippy with his questions and responses. He would not even try to process the return, even when I stated the company policy. He said that this was how he was trained. Apparently the GM makes his own return policy.

Don't ever buy anything on line especially w a gift card. They take return and won't exchange until you get a HARD GIFT CARD even though refund is processed. Bought on the 8th and still waiting on the 20th. Can't buy anywhere else because they have my money.
