SM is a local home builder with a reputation for building good homes back in the 90's, so I purchased a SFH from them. The corporation entity has taken over now, and all the personnel are just out to close the deal ASAP. They will do whatever it takes to get you to sign (docusign) off on the sale. This includes future promises that rolls from the sales center then to the design center then to the field supervisor then onto the warranty department. Unsatisfactory items are pushed off into the future in order to close the sale on the house. SM is no longer interested in building quality homes for their customers. They have become just like their competition such as Toll Brothers and Ryan Homes. The only difference is their premium pricing due to their prior reputation. I have not gotten my money's worth with Stanley Martin.
