Ordered the Sionyx Pro Explorer kit. Cost right at $1300.00. They sent me a grey market version of the pro, with all Chinese made counterfeit equipment. In an open box with the warranty and manuals taken out, and a serial number sionyx cannot find in it's database. Also, anyone looking to buy a sionyx, know these guys are not affiliated with sionyx, nor does sionyx send them any products to sale or represent them. I have no doubt the person before me caught the overseas version and sent it back.

I ordered a camera and lens, they called to confirm my order 2 days after I ordered it. Then another 6 days passed for the credit card to process, then 2 days after they got my money they called claiming they had a problem. Day 9, When I tried to call, they kept hanging up on me, then when I used another phone number and got through they said the camera was out of stock and wanted me to "okay" the substitution of a "demo" floor model with a 3-year warranty. I asked for a refund instead. We'll see how that will go. I'm sure I'll have to call the credit card company and fight to get my money back.

This company and "Abe of Maine" are both losers. Probably the same company with a different facade. Don't waste your time.

Tip for consumers:
If you want games go to the carnival. These guys offer nothing but bait-n-switch. You'll be disappointed.

Products used:
B and H photo. Cost $500 more, but no games and I'm sure if I have a problem, they will handle it without clowning around.

I purchased a Nikon D850 from this company. Found out today from Nikon, when I tried to register my camera that I was sold a GREY MARKET camera that cant be registered nor repaired by them. Proceed with caution if ordering from this company.

Tip for consumers:
SSE Photo and Video sold me a grey market camera. I cannot register it with Nikon because it was NOT meant to be sold in the United States and SSE is NOT an authorized Nikon dealer.

Brought a new sony A6400 camera and the box was already opened. The lens were also already opened. None of which I suspect are truly new. The only reason why I bought from them was because they had a promotion going and they didn't even honored the promo. When I called about that they said just wait 3-5 days for a partial refund showing the promo, but that never happened. Don't buy or trust these guys.

I order a sionyx night vision camera from them. Waited two weeks and it never came. They said in stock on the website and it would be delivered by the end of the week. They took the money out of my account and intern charged me 60 dollars for a return fee when they canceled the order because it wasn't actually in stock. The whole time this was happening I could get ANYONE from customer service via email or phone. Complete rip-off.

The $800 drone was 3 days late. Received my item in an opened, dirty box and it was used. Bundled items were also used. SSE issued a credit of $100. I could have bought this drone for half price used but wanted brand new and willing to pay. Too weary of sending back for replacement or refund as I'm unsure how they would handle my product or money. The whole experience was terrible.

There is no support after purchase.
Don't waste your time on a forever hold any day of the week.
No help with email support also.

Don't believe these fake reviews. I paid $429 for 2-Battery Ultimate Accessory Bundle for Mavic 2 Pro. No batteries were shipped. No props were shipped. What I got was about $50 worth of cheap accessories. Their address is 40 Montgomery St., Hillside, NJ *******. Also the same address as very bad photo store according to the BBB. Scam is written all over this.
Update: After many calls, got through to someone. They did finally ship the batteries, but not the props. They said I already have them, which I do not. They person I talked to was short and rude. Added 1 star for the batteries that I was owed.

Just don't. You will regret it.

I ordered a cannon sx70 camera from SSE I ordered on a Saturday, I tried to call them and their mailbox was full. I had read some unfavorable reviews so I panicked! I sent a email told them we needed the camera because we were going on a little trip, not a huge purchase but it was for us we are retired and my husband has stage four cancer. Anyway long story short first thing Monday I did get a email from them they are closed on the weekends. He said if it would arrive to late they would cancel the order or ship it overnight as I had originally requested and paid for. It was here Tuesday. Perfect condition brand new all accessories that were extras. I would not hesitate to do business with them again.

Tip for consumers:
They were fantastic with this purchase , some of the reviews I read after I ordered made me panic but there was no reason too.

I had brought a DJI Mavic Mini for Christmas during Black Friday and the return policy was only 30 days, so by the time I gave it as a present it was too late to return. I emailed the company to see what I can do because the person I gave it to wanted to upgrade to the 2, and they said no they can't do anything about it. I don't understand how during a pandemic they only give 30 days to return and especially a time near Christmas! Terrible I don't recommend

Ordered a Canon EOS Rebel SL3. Got an email same day saying they tried to call me about shipping. No call from them. Next day got email that said my order was cancelled. Called and they said the camera was out of stock. Today I'm looking at the website and the "out of stock" camera is offered as part of a $900.00 bundle. All done with them now.

I've had to cancel two orders with this company after never receiving the items nearly two months after placing my original orders. Good luck reaching their "customer service" department if you have questions. Do not order from SSE Photo Video. They will drag their feet on sending you the items you've PAID FOR, and that's only if they ever bother sending them at all. Customer service is horrendous if you're lucky to get a response from them. Trust me and the recent reviews and STAY AWAY. It's not worth the hassle.

I was looking to do some Macrophotography and came across this Olympus TG camera. On doing some online research, came across this SSEPhotoVideo site and got a price over the phone, and found their prices to be fantastic, no way could I get a better price. I went to pick up the items at their location, was a bit skeptical at first, since it happened to be a Warehouse, rather than a Retail store. Anyway, I picked up the items and later when I contacted the firm, I was surprised they shipped me the same day, additional items I had asked for & some more. Hats off to these guys, Ben & Bill, for their prompt service.

The price quoted by SSe for a Canon 600XE-II flash is too good to be true. Received no answer when I sent an e mail concerning the above question - and there are counterfeit 600's out there.
Might even be open box, or used. I don't trust the site.

Check with Canon for tips re: counterfeit items.

I had purchased a tripod for my camera last August and a part had snapped off after my second use. I called SSE for a replacement because I really like that tripod and Logan Cohen took my call. Not only was he very personable, professional and courtious, but he send me a whole new replacement for my tripod. Not every store does this and I wanted to shout out to SSE PhotoVideo for being pro customer. I will definitely continue to do business with SSE in the future. This should review also applies to Google Shopping. Product did not arrive when expected. Contacted Google, they then contacted SSE and days went by without a response from SSE. Currently on my 4th attempt to find out where the heck my order is, without any real answer. I will NEVER shop with Google or SSE again. Hands down worst online shopping experience. SCAM!

Ordered camera kit from these idiots. They send it with missing items and no notifications of a short shipment not giving consumers a chance to refuse order. Offers a low ball price for the missing items citing its part of a kit. NOT MY PROBLEM. Don't send incomplete orders then blame the pandemic.

I went on SSE website to order a Osmo Action. Before ordering I called to make sure they were in stock. Well to make a long story short after paying extra to have my order sent within 2-3 day it never came. I called to see where my order was and they never sent it out. They were very rude and got upset when I told the I would call PayPal for a refund. I'm so happy I didn't order a EOS R from them! DONT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY NO MATTER WHAT THE REVIEWS SAY!

I bought a Sony rx0 compact camera from this site. They were sent out by USPS. And Of course, it got lost. But i contacted SSE, they said they can do nothing about it. Well. If it's not a scam, what is it.

The TG-Tracker that this company sells with the help of Google Express, is a refurbished camera that is advertised as new. The one I received was 4 years old. Terribly packaged. It took them 20 days to decide to refund my money. Witch made it too late to reorder from someone else to get by Christmas. I can understand making a mistake with a misprint but it's not a mistake when they do not fix it. It's a scam. There is a lot of people that may not know the difference or just keep it because of inconvenience.

I ordered aGoPro Hero 7 black at the lowest price I had seen and was able to use a promo code for another $25 off. Received the item in 2 days. Contacted customer service to resend my receipt. No problems and the best deal around. Will definitely sho there again!

Problem with PRODUCT: I purchased the Olympus Tough TG-6 Camera because of it's high ratings as a durable camera including ‘Waterproof-rated to IPX8 for use underwater to depths of 50 feet'. I carefully read the use instructions and used the camera as instructed in shallow water (less than 5') on a vacation at the beach. Water got in and the camera stopped working- (this all happened in the first few days of use). I filled-out a service request at Olympus' website and received no response.

Problem with MERCHANT- SSE Photo & Video: I had purchased the camera thru Amazon from SSE Photo & Video. The return options listed on the website required I return the camera & all accessories (no option to simply swap for a new camera only). After we sent the camera back I received notification that the merchant would be charging a restocking fee $194.50. I called SSE's customer service number and was told that the restocking fee was a mistake, and they would credit the balance of the return to my credit card (but to allow 3 to 5 business days). I checked my CC the following week and found no credit. I called SSE again- this time I was told that the ‘re-stocking fee' was due to ‘User-Inflicted-Damage' which was not covered by warrantee. Essentially, I must have not sealed the battery door properly because water got in. It was an SSE technician which made that call (unsure of any actual position from Olympus).

I absolutely guarantee that I had sealed the battery door prior to use per user-manual. SSE's position seems to be that the camera will not fail unless it is the fault of the user. I have engaged in 2 fruitless phone calls with SSE and they refuse to change their position. I am in the process of working thru Amazon and then will appeal to my credit card company for relief. I would recommend caution with this camera and steer-clear of SSE Photo & Video.

Bought the Mavic Pro Plus More kit... got everything ok. But... one of the batteries is non-functional and won't charge. These sell for 130.00 retail... they won't change it out. They want me to return the WHOLE KIT fir a refund... after I've already opened. ISANE! They say they can't replace the item. The only way is to get a refund. NEVER will I do business with them again.
If I could give negative stars I would. Now I have to go out and buy a 130.00 battery to replace the defective one they sent and won't replace. Buy elsewhere... Buyer BEWARE
