Square Trade did contact me and worked out a fair solution for both of us. So although not the "Perfect" plan, but made things right in my eyes, so I do give them credit for that.

I intended to trade my phone in through JB HiFi. No contact or instructions from SquareTrade after purchase of my new phone until an email today informing me the 28 day trade in time had elapsed and my credit card was debited without warning. When I sought to correct it by asking how to send the old phone to them the same day, they refused and I was informed the case was closed. Could not recommend this company's practices.

I called to cancel my plan when I notice AT&T did not cancel, I was told I had to contact square trade and if it had been within 30 days I could have requested a refund -which it was 4 days outside outside the time frame and been charged a second time. I've then seen on the website that you can request the pro rated refund which I call back the following day to do so And was told since it was month to month coverage that I could not even get it pro rated refund...although I turned the phones in within my 14 days of getting them And never used or needed the service yet I couldn't even get one month refund. I requested to speak with the supervisor which if that's how their supervisor act, it's no wonder the company has a very poor rating. This company does not represent All State and a good light at all! I have other policies with all state and have never had to deal with the lack of customer service or unprofessionalism like I've dealt with with this company. But I quickly learned AT&T was trash as well so goes right along with the service AT&T is providing. Both AT&T and square trade is garbage and glad I got away from both of them.

I bought a TV and good Faith. Knowing that at the time, square trade was a good and fair company about fixing any issues that you may have with electronics TV's that sort of thing, but then when my TV had an issue with having lines and all of these different colors all over the place they informed in for me. Oh, well, we no longer cover that. But that's not a me problem I feel like this company just scams people out of money to buy their warranties and don't disclose every bit of the information of what is and is not covered. I highly suggest if you have a warranty with them, I suggest you call them and get your money back because it's ridiculous. You can cancel your warranty anytime you want with them and they will, give you your money back. I highly suggest you do that because they're complete idiots over there. Not a, one of them will do anything to help you.

I got some joycon controllers that started premature battery problems. I was able to file a claim and finish it in a day. Then the check to cover most of its price came in just a couple days without me having to send the controllers. I will use them again.

After my horrific experience with DHGate and 4+ months of absolute disbelief that a company like that is allowed to stay in business, I remembered that I purchased an extended warranty on the product with squaretrade.com.

DHGATE: 25+ Chat sessions and 15 unreturned emails whilest their best and brightest...(about as bright as oil.) tried to figure out how to handle a cut and dry case, and SQUARETRADE handled it in two - and it would have been one, but I had to send over my receipt.

The end result, instant, fantastic customer service with only question, "When and where would you like your refund?" And yes, they processed it on Saturday morning! REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thank you SquareTrade! And to DHGate, "Sit and spin! I'm still going legal with you theives!"

OK so first off I'm starting to wonder if this company is a scam due to the fact I have not received any follow up from them as promised I'm unable to get any copy of any notes taken in my file nor have I been able to get reimbursed in a timely manner! I'm still waiting 45 days now since I paid out of pocket for my repairs that were promised to be reimbursed no later than 5 business days after I recieved the repairs! Also I purchased my plan and was told there was a zero dollar deductible which is also completely false! I'm really wondering how or why Allstate has there name involved with this terrible, terrible, horrible company I mean I've never experienced any customer service this poor and that is saying alot because I've dealt with some very terrible people as well! I've at least called there call center around 15 times now only to receive the exact same scenario! I'm sorry sir I'm going to need to send this claim to get reviewed and we will contact you via email no later than 48 hours, ok so I say alright so there is nothing else needed from me on my end this is all up to you guys to handle now and I recieve a yes sir nothing else is needed from you is there anything else I can help you with today? I say no thank you I look forward to hearing from you guys in 48 hours! Ok so 72 hours rolls around still nothing in my email (and this had gone on for the past month now) So again I contact them asking why I have not revieved any follow up and they apologize and it starts all over again I'm currently waiting to get a call back from an agent! Supposed to take place in 60 minutes so I will keep you posted! I highly doubt I will ever see any of this reimbursement money around $500 for repairs done to my s21 ultra! But I rain hopeful fingers! Please respond to this review if you've gone through similar experience and actually recieved your reimbursement money! Thank you all for taking the time to read this I made it as short as possible and I hope this helps people decide nor to purchase this horrible protection plan! I'm going to try and ask Costco to remove this from there products due to the terrible experience I've had with this company! Also sorry this is a couple of days after I posted this review squaretrade canceled my policy claim everything so now I'm out the reimbursement money of 452.84 I never would've spent to fix my phone otherwise and the $120.99 I spent for the insurance shame on you allstate I'm so tired of being ripped off by people this really has to stop we just had a baby I really could've used that money elsewhere! Now I'm out of the money and need diapers this really could've helped out so please don't buy this insurance it's a total nightmare dealing with everyone over in Pakistan another reason why I don't agree with outsourcing you get what you pay for allstate skimp on wages keeping jobs from Americans I guess were really not in good hands specially not with allstate! Ok so after posting this review I was given a refund of around a $185 dollars short of what I paid but still its better than nothing after all of the back and forth with these guys and over a few months later I was able to get a check for $385 dollars so I'm a little happier than I was when I started this review so thanks for reading all of this review I would definitely be careful choosing an insurance plan it set like they all can get away with murder so good luck to everyone have a blessed day!

I would definitely shop around if a deal seems to good to be true I'm certain it is!!

I used squaretrade by allstate because I haven't purchased another warranty for my cell phone due to the false promises given by this company that it wouldn't be necessary to have to purchase more than one warranty service!!

We purchased a power washer 3 years ago and also purchased the SquareTrade warranty. Last Tuesday it quit. We called the toll free number and talked to an agent. Yes, we were on the phone for almost an hour but at the end of the call we were told we would receive a check since there are no repair centers within a 100 miles. And yes we received an email the next day needing much of the same info we gave over the phone. The main problem was our current email address had changed since we bought the power washer. Once we responded to the email we received another email stating a check would be cut. We received a check in the mail yesterday, Saturday, for the full amount less tax.
We will absolutely purchase an extended warranty again from Square Trade. Word of warning... be sure and keep ALL your paperwork including invoices for your purchases.

I brought a tv from Walmart Feb 2019 and forgot I even purchased the warranty. On November 3rd this yr I woke up as normal and proceeded to turn on tv like always and tv won't turn on. Went on internet and tried everything but nothing still worked, I only got the blue light that lets you know the tv was on. Goes online to see when did I purchase tv from Walmart app since receipts are saved on there and that's when I found out I purchased the warranty and it was still good til 2022 …
So I go online same day 11/03/2021 and started my claim Allstate (SquareTrade) I then called the number and gave them everything they asked for. They shot me an email for picks so I sent them pics of my black screen but made sure they could see that the blue light was on. They sent and email back that same day letting me know I was covered and they were going to refund me for the tv…11/12/21 I received a check in the mail for $239.27 and I paid $259.99 2yrs 9m ago so I'm a satisfied customer… I will definitely be getting a warranty again from these guys on my next tv purchase! Thanks
