I love splice have been using splice for a while now like multiple years and i always find something interesting that i can use. I dont know why the bad reviews
I wasn't able to pay my membership fees due to some personal difficulties. When I explained my situation and asked nicely if I could resubscribe to my "legacy" plan, I got a sarcastic and snarky response from customer service. It's difficult to believe that this company values their longtime customers. I'm going to give Artgrid.io or sounds.com a try. Their customers have mostly left positive reviews about their experiences.
Incredible value for the samples alone (works out at about 5p per sample in GBP) because you can pick and chose which samples you want to download after auditioning them all - no more buying £40 packs and using three of the samples! As if that wasn't enough, the project file syncing capabilities are absolutely fantastic - for a monthly price that is less than dropbox you get access to a huge library of samples, open source project files AND streamlined, painless project file syncing (invaluable if you want to produce as part of a geographically separated group). The Splice toolbar is also a very intuitive and streamlined way to search through the sounds you've downloaded and drag them into your DAW.
