My husband and I decided to be Chuckie and Tiffany Valentine for Halloween. His overalls were really big they was a large/extra large, but we pinned it up and we made it work overall. Very good quality.

“Scam of a company”

Just like another person said in their review, this company has owed us a refund for an entire month. They literally cancelled our order and then said they'd be refunding our credit card. Every time I contact them they say it can take up to 21 business days. It's now been over 21 business days and we just keep getting the runaround. As far as we are concerned this company has stolen money from us. Never order or purchase from them, they are quite literally the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Once again Randa( south common edmonton location) helped my son with his halloween project! She always goes above and beyond for us. She is always so knowledgeable and helpful! Randa, you are the reason why we return to spirit halloween every year!

My visit to spirit at Legacy Crossing in Marion Ohio what is a five star shopping experience because of one person Justine not only assisted me finding all of the hocus-pocus costumes and accessories that I needed but she went above and beyond to get me the "teeth" to complete my Winnie Sanderson costume that were sold out nearly everywhere. Justine is personable, knowledgeable, and very helpful. In a word, she's the best!

My only complaint is that your stores are not open all year long. Please fix that! We need the in-store experience all the time!

I was BEYOND shocked that everything worked as well as it did, and the quality? Even the jumpsuit itself is beyond comfortable. The pistol belt may be a bit wonky but I think I just don't know how to use it, ha. Everything else, the walkie talkie, EPK METER, and ghost trap all function perfectly - and I am beyond excited for both future cosplays, and Halloween!

I ordered a wireless Multi-Prop remote control. I received it in good order and fast. I went to test it and soon found out that the batteries it came with were dead. I figured before I sent it back to Spirit for a refund or return, I would simply go buy some batteries to see if the unit would work. It did! I called customer service to explain the situation and they quickly and happily covered the cost of the replacement batteries. I appreciate the very prompt service from the Spirit Halloween representative. A very satisfied customer here!

Trick or Treat? I placed an order on 9/13/14. Both items were "In Stock" when I placed the order. Both had an estimated delivery date of 9/22. I received email notification from them on 9/18 that the cockroaches shipped but the jacked up jill decoration (the main item I ordered) had not shipped yet. When I received the cockroaches, the invoice in the box showed the jacked up jill was on "back order." On 10/15 I received email notification that my order was not cancelled and my order would ship out after the item I selected was processed and I would receive an updated email in 48 hours. The next update came on 11/4 stating the item was no longer availalbe and was cancelled. I guess I got the TRICK. If you actually want what you order, don't buy it from Spirit of Halloween.

Took my daughter in looking for a halloween costume and was pleasantly surprised by the great customer service and friendly workers. Ash was welcoming and went above and beyond to help us find what we were looking for.

I think the spirit Halloween is the best store ever! I mean once I forgot to get a Halloween costume but when I went to Party City, everything was on the floor but Spirit Halloween had a very fast line, so good that I'm here writing a review!

I was excited to receive their Remote Control Zombie prop and desperately wanted it to work as advertised. It, unfortunately, did not. The instructions of this item clearly state that the device works up to 10 meters. After much frustrating experimentation, the unit I received would work if the antenna of the remote control transmitter was touched to the receiver in the zombie. After making sure all batteries in the unit were new, including replacing the two that come installed in the Zombie and the one that comes in the remote control transmitter, I worked with different configurations of the antenna in the Zombie unit (this is a long cord that comes wrapped in a rubber band and runs between the receiver and the body of the Zombie). The best distance I managed between Zombie and the remote control transmitter antennae was about a foot before the Zombie would shut down. I would have been satisfied if this item worked at half the stated operational range. 5 meters would allow the Zombie to work without the operator being right there on top of the the Trick or Treaters you were trying to scare with the device. I purchased this item in mid August so I could be sure that I would have it operational for Halloween. After attempting to working with Spirit's Customer Service personnel for three weeks by phone, trying to find a solution to boost the range of the unit, rather than simply returning the unit and receiving another one that would quite possibly have the same problems with range of operation (see the other reviews on Spirit Halloween's own web-site about this item. Many of mention this problem). The first week I requested they contact their technical people and see if there was a fix. After hearing nothing for a week I called again to follow up and was told that I would be sent a new remote control transmitter. After hearing nothing for another week I called again to ask when I could expect them to ship the promised transmitter. I was then told that they did not have the one that they had thought had been lying around the office and they had sent to their vendor for one. I asked if the vender in question was, in fact, the manufacturer in China and was told that, yes, it was. Having no confidence that I would get satisfaction by Halloween, I decided to return the unit. Being dissatisfied with the customer service response I had received, I again contacted the department and insisted on speaking with the department manager. I ended up talking the the Director of Customer Service and was treated with respect and concern for the difficulties I had experienced. In the scope of a few minute long conversation I received complete satisfaction. If not for the escalation to management and management's reaction to my concerns, Spirit would have lost a customer. As it is, I will be back and do business with this company again as a loyal customer.

My interaction with Spirit Halloween today was AWESOME and I just needed to share my Customer Service experience.
I want to start off by Thanking every Spirit Halloween Employee for their hard word before, during and after the Haunt Season. I can only imagine the volume of calls, orders, questions, stress... that these men and women deal with. They all make this whole thing possible. We have been shopping with Spirit Halloween since the Beginning and it is amazing to feel the same level of personal service most of the time. On rare occasions you may be met with attitude or irritation but try to be understanding that they are there to help in the end! Just breathe and make their job a bit easier.
In the end today I felt heard as a customer (who had a not so great initial interaction) with a company I was loyal to. We had 5 larger orders tied up a bit for a variety of circumstances. It was frustrating and no one really had information or initially seemed to care. Ashley from Customer Services followed up today and I was so happy to feel like I wasn't just another order to them. They validated my concerns and apologized because that is a Huge deal to them. Their staff is great and I will likely be a Spirit Customer for life!

I am sharing this here because rarely do we get to read about the positive! Spirit Halloween goes above and beyond with their customers "behind the scenes" and I wanted to shed some light. 3 of the 5 orders have arrived with the last two almost here. No I did not get my orders for Free. That's not how business works people! What I got was an incredible Customer Experience that will keep me as a Customer of theirs for years! THANK YOU Ashley, Jackie and all the staff at Spirit Halloween. Y'all are so great!

Came in earlier to buy some spooky decor. I found this doll that I thought would be the perfect touch for my front yard. It is the best purchase I've ever made and would 10/10 recommend this store.

Spirit is the only place I ever buy Halloween items from, and I even use it for religious rituals. Their fabric is comfortable and their makeup is so great. I've only ordered once online but it was such a great experience. Spirit definitely has my business for years to come.

I went to the store in Oshkosh wi. I was greeted and helped by a very nice staff. They helped me find exactly what I was looking for and answered all my questions. I'm so glad they were there. I hope they come back next year!

I went to the Airport road location in Allentown, PA.
Customer service was ABSOLUTELY amazing. The young woman I talked to was the assistant manager. She helped my family and I find matching costumes and up sold us many accessories. She was so kind to my son and even helped him for over 20 min find what he needed. He is disabled and all he could talk about when we got home was his experience with this young lady. I will write a review everywhere just for people to meet this beautiful young lady. Her name tag said Lexi. I will be going back JUST FOR HER

I shopped at the Wyomissing store on state hill rd. Upon entering store I was warmly greeted. I was shopping for decorations but wasn't sure of what to get cause of the variety.
I asked an employee for assistance. She was a Spanish lady named mary. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the store. She helped me figure out what decorations I needed. I wish other stores had employees as nice as Mary was. I know it's her job, but she makes you feel at ease with no pressure. I have told my friends about the great service at this store and will be returning for more items. Just wanted to say keep up the good work and thanks for an enjoyable experience.
