Pics posted here by others are all mostly fake. If you used Western Union or bank transfer to pay, you can kiss your money goodbye. With credit cards you can at least file a chargeback with your credit card company and they know this that's why they make sure they ship it if you used a credit card to pay. I ordered a SS Daytona using bank transfer and never receiving anything from them. Bank transfer goes to this shady address shell company called the Spil Business Center in Guatemala City. Like an idiot I ordered yet again a year later but this time with Western Union and they sent me a defect/previously returned item. It still took just over 80 days for my P. O. S. Replica Daytona SS to arrive. Almost 3 months. However, it took about 30 seconds for three different jewelers to open the caseback and realize that the 4130 movement inside is an Asian clone, not a Swiss clone. Let me repeat that: it took 30 seconds for my jeweler friends to realize it was the Asian clone version just by placing the solid swiss watch next to the movement of a genuine 4130 Daytona. My jeweler's X-Ray XRF gun determined it was not 18k gold or the 904L steel that they advertise, but rather it is 306L steel. There is no real gold plated in the 18k watches. Only imitation gold. It took around 5 seconds for him to shoot the XRF gun at the watch and determine this. FIVE SECONDS. The inner side of caseback cover says 18K gold. It's supposed to say Stainless Steel. When I confronted SolidSwiss customer service about it they lied and told me that it is supposed to say 18k gold, but that's not true at all. Bracelet has problems, rolex logo on inner clasp smudges off instantly. Rolex crown on the clasp was too elevated (easy giveaway that it's a replica). Outer and inner box was already falling apart when received, Rolex red seal and rope were the cheap Chinese replica STICKER version, both also falling apart upon arrival. I took a shower with the watch and it started to fog up instantly. It's not even water resistant, let alone waterproofed enough for swimming. All this obviously means they simply buy from cheap Chinese replica sites and resell to you. Actually they don't even stock it. They purchase from a Chinese replica site on demand as the order comes in and just have it shipped directly to your shipping address from China. While you wait for your item to arrive, they keep lying to you over and over again by saying your shipment is late because it's on backorder. You've been warned; don't be the idiot I was. There are other sites (amazingclock[Dot]me, gifthandbag[Dot]biz, ok-replica[Dot]me) that sell these Chinese super clones for less than half the price. I noticed whenever I pay using Western Union they send me defective/unwanted defective items because they know I can't get my money back no matter what. If you send them money using WU they send you a used/previously returned defective item, end of story. They also don't like it when you ask too many questions. Obviously the positive reviews posted here and on other sites are from solid swiss customer service. I even asked for a refund and they gave a return address for a replica factory in CHINA. I bought two watches from solid swiss for USD 2430 (bought 2 they gave me 10percent from total price USD 2700). I bought the green sub and the new gmt2 blue black bezel(I owned both the original watches with black bezel.
The green sub and the blue gmt2 are timepiece that you have to pay premium to get them here. Was impress with Solid Swiss site looking at all the lies they advertise.
The photos are so clear and attractive and I can even see the markings and the plastic covering the watches like the original. They said the watches are made by Swiss watch maker and so many other lies.
Sadly when I got the watches they were from CHINA the origin of so many fakes and replica watches.The watches came in only wrapped using kitchen glad wrap.The boxes that came with it does not look like the original rolex boxes and they were crudely made.
I emailed Tom (the guy that is managing the sales) telling him the surprise that I had when I saw the pacage came from China not from Switzerland and only sent by EMS not UPS and told him many other dissimilarities between these watches and the original including the bezel color on the green submariner is not the same green as the original, the weight are not the same, the hour hand on the gmt does not move independenly when you turn the crown and few other things.
Tom told me the watches are shipped from China to avoid custom detection and he denied all the different things I mentioned to him. I even told him are the watches being smuggled from Switzerland to China then only send out to their customers which does not make sense.
The only thing he tried to convince me was the green color and the weight.He even emailed to me photos of the original green sub and the replica and keep telling me the color are the same which to me they are not especially the one that I got are even very much darker green. I even sent photos of the green sub snd he gave excuses that not the same because of lighting.
We kept emailing back and forth until he refuse to reply and he mentioned if I open the plastic wrappers he cant take back. I did open the plastic to check on the color and he told me I can see the color without opening the pastc wrappers.
I even got my watch dealer friend to check the movement and he confirmed the movement are chinese rolex clone.
So is a lesson for me and also for others that this site iis another Big Scam.
