Avoid Solidity Wallet at all costs - it is a scam!
July 28, 2022

Short story: I have some funds in SolidityWallet.net, I tried to withdraw it, Solidity Wallet won't release my money, all evidence points to this being a scam, I have probably lost that money forever. Also avoid kotlinwallet.com - same people behind the Solidity Wallet scam.

Long story: I requested to withdraw my Solidity Wallet funds to my PayPal account, however, three weeks later, it had not appeared in my account. I raised a support ticket and I asked that the BTC be sent to another crypto wallet of mine, where I can withdraw it to fiat currency more quickly. Solidity Wallet replied that they can't send the money to my other wallet because they are a crypto-to-fiat exchange, and that it would take 10 business days to process my withdrawal. I pointed out that it had been longer than 10 business days since I initiated my withdrawal, to which Solidity Wallet now say there are widespread delays and that they will process my withdrawal as a priority when this is solved.

Obviously this made me suspicious - what crypto platform can receive BTC, but not be able to send it? Also, how can Solidity Wallet say "10 business days" one second, then suddenly have "widespread delays"?

I have done some further research about this platform, which I should have done before even putting a dime in, but my excuse is that I'm very new to crypto - I'll look back at this as an expensive act of stupidity!

Back to SolidityWallet.net - they claim to be registered with FinCEN. I could not find them on the FinCEN register. I have contacted FinCEN to confirm whether this is the case, and if so, could I have contact details.

Solidity Wallet also claim to have been founded in 2012, but when you look up their domains - soliditywallet.net and soliditywallet.com - both of these domains were only created in June 2022.

There are also bad reviews on scam alert websites appearing recently - I'm assuming these reviews are from others who have attempted to withdraw funds. These reviews are also disappearing quickly too, which is suspicious as well. I read a review about one person who apparently lost 32 BTC through Solidity Wallet - luckily I didn't put as much in, but still hurts to lose money to a scam.

Anyway, I hope my review has helped you make an informed decision, and I hope others with a bad experience also speak up about these scammers!

Tip for consumers:

Don’t use it if you want to ever see your money again.
