I finally did Christmas shopping early and I am being punished for doing so. Gift given after 90 days. Ripped immediately, but can't return since past 90 days. Moral don't shop too early Avoid pillows. Poor quality.

I purchased a bench one and was charged for two. I emailed the company explain something went wrong. I only want one and asked to return slip it the same day they arrived. I was then emailed No refunds. This is horrible.

I was wanting a William Morris bed spread comforter and I found this on society 6 web site, I also ordered pillows because I loved the William Morris artist design. The pillows were fabulous but the comforter was awful. All out of scale even the colors were nothing like the web site pictures, so now I have wonderful pillows but nothing to match it to use on my bed,
Buyer beware photos on the web site are nothing like the finished product.
Thus was so very disappointing, I will not buy from this company again.
False advertising is used in the web site. The first photo is what was suppose to get. The second picture is what this cheap comforter looked like. The scale of the fabric is all deluded and the quality is like something from the dollar store. Very poor deceptive advertising.

False advertising showing a beautiful comforter on the web site it was nothing like the finished product.

I was actually pretty disappointed. I love that it's a canvas material and the make them by order. But for the price the print image should be more vibrant rather than dull and a bleeding look. White area also looks grayish/ murky.

I have not received my order yet, but i did just want to let everyone know that even if you order things of the same design from the same artist (I ordered a shower curtain and bathmat) you will get separate shipping charges for each. I was not aware until after my purchase was complete that the $20+ shipping charge was because they split my cart into two separate orders after purchase and charged me separate shipping on each. From the same artist, for the exact same design, just two different items. Super scammy on that. Also the artists only get 10% commission for each purchase so the company selling is taking money from them and you wherever they can. After reading more reviews, if I could go back I would look to purchase from the artists directly if you can.

I was excited and hopeful to find Society6, because they show a seemingly limitless variety of colorful pillow designs with good variety of sizes. I found a playful design that I really enjoyed and felt good about supposedly supporting artists. I bought two rectangular throw pillows that, according to the Society6 website were to measure 12 x 17 or slightly larger. The pillows' actual size was less than 10 inches x 15 inches. They were too small for my needs. Society6 customer service person seemed totally unconcerned the sizing info was incorrect and offered me 20% off to keep them. I declined and asked for a refund, suggesting I would order the next size up if someone there could provide me with accurate measurements. No one, apparently, could provide accurate sizing. Their explanation is that each pillowcase is handmade "just for me," so sizes vary. That may be true, but made-to-order sewing can certainly be cut to exacting standards and accurate sizing information provided on the website. I decided it wasn't worth the risk to reorder. I'm disappointed this didn't work out. I like that the pillows have the design on both sides and have zippers to remove the pillow insert for easy cleaning. They also appeared to be well sewn, although the fabric looked as though it would get dirty easily. Also, once the pillow insert is added, the fabric stretches, and the colors appear less vivid. I was expecting a higher quality, more resilient fabric. Society6 has no customer service telephone, so all my communication with them was via email and live chat. I'm giving them two stars instead of just one, because they did, ultimately, give me a full refund. Buyer beware.

I'm disappointed to be writing a negative review after being such a loyal customer for years but I have nowhere else to turn. I ordered two pieces of framed artwork and what was delivered was not the artwork I ordered. No biggie. Mistakes happen. My frustration is that no one from Customer Service has responded to a single one of my messages. It's been over a month and I haven't received what I paid for or a refund and no one from this company seems to care. It's a shame for me because so much of my decor and artwork is all from Society6 and I can't imagine doing business with this company ever again after being so blatantly ignored.

I ordered a duvet cover and it cheap and made so poorly. It is made of 2 sheets! Duvet covers should be made from somewhat heavier material not thin sheets. They are sewn together so poorly that the seams pucker (see pic below). DO NOT waste your money. They are so thin that I don't know that I would even use them as sheets on a bed. I wanted to put a heavier comfort inside but it shows through so I would have to go buy a new one that is white.

The print they delivered was color dot matrix quality not lithograph. To their credit, they issued a full refund quickly when contacted. Although I appreciate their responsiveness, I would not order a print from them again.

The quality really isn't good. There is lines across the pattern, weird stitching lines where there really shouldn't be. Not true blackout- made 75%. For the price they are definitely not worth it.

Although I like the print my polyester comforter was 110. But by the time it was sent to Canada, I paid another 90. The qualitiy should've been only 40. But that's what you get ordering from a so called artist through Amazon.com. Feeling so ripped off as a very low income senior

Bought a blanket with a fairly geometric design, with an emphasis on the colors. Importantly, the design was shown in matte color. When the blanket arrived, it had a very cheap sheen to it, and the white of the base blanket shows through if you run your hand against the grain of the fabric. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that it looks very cheap, given the price. I'll give it 2 stars because even though the blanket is very thin and small, it is soft. Will not buy from society6 again.

I ordered a mug, and parts of the image on the top and bottom were cut off. There was also a lot of blur in these areas. So I requested a replacement mug, citing poor quality as the issue. The replacement I received has the same problems as the first one. So I guess, don't expect your mug to look the same as the preview.

I also ordered a tote bag that turned out okay, except that one side was printed crooked.

I order 2 coffee thermal mugs and was disappointed that the pattern did not wrap around well - there was a distinct line where it ended. I was also charged $12. Duty frees that were additional cost that was not described when purchasing. The total cost was way over what the mugs were worth.

I ordered a print for a friend for Christmas, in plenty of time. 2 days before, I received my order, only it was a stupid numerical chart (see photos below). I submitted a complaint which was bounced around from person to person. They agreed to send the correct print. It arrived a couple of days ago. There is a large grease print at the top of the print. The quality of the print is poor, it looks like a photo copy. Obviously I can't frame this. Plus I got hit for a $15 duty charge before I could even receive the print. Obviously I wouldn't have paid this had I known the print was damaged. My emailed complaint seems to have gone to several different people offering me discount coupons. Apparently the cost of the print will be refunded to me, but not the shipping or the duty charge. What a total waste of money and time. Don't bother ordering from this place. If I'd seen all the bad reviews, I wouldn't have.

This company has lost my trust, and certainly my business. I ordered two sets of duvet covers, a $237 cost, from Society6 and decided to return them. I contacted Society6 asking about their return policy. For several days I got no answer, so I sent them back via UPS at a cost to me of over $30. Then I got an email suggesting I not bother returning them, and keep or donate them to a charity. (Kind of a weird & surprising response!) I was also told a refund had been made and would show up as a credit within 7-10 business days. Those dates have passed, and still no refund!

Tip for consumers:
Be wary! This has been an odd company to deal with. Keep a $200+ product instead of returning it? Strange.
Yet, with that seeming generosity ("Give it to a charity...") they aren't exactly quick on the refund side.

I bought my item on 27 November and they said that international shipping was between 1-3 weeks. I've been checking the status of my order and it has been the same for 3 weeks already. I managed to contact them and they offered to do a replacement for free. However, this item was meant to be a gift to someone and I was unable to give it to them on time. If I had known that delivery was not an assured thing, I would have just ordered from someone else!

Purchased a bookbag for my son. It was over $60 and the print on it is very poor. They are big bugs but they are fuzzy like the photo was stretched to much to stay in focus. The spiders legs aren't even connected. I'm super disappointed. The rest of the bag is fine but the whole point in ordering it was the bugs. I was excited to order more stuff but not now.

If this is a sample of their products I would say its not worth the money.

Doesnt offer assistance via phone; only email. Society6 doesn't seem to care about customers w disabilities. My aunt has physical disabilities and needs assistance when dealing with online transactions/using electronic devices. Thus she has to wait on me to conduct business for her, which some things are back and forth and takes days/weeks to resolve depending on schedule
Or may be topic she prefers to handle/private. Takes an emotional toll on her when she's not able to be independent. All she asked for was a phone call to be able to handle the matter on her own; they said no even when I advised of her limitation. A easy/reasonable accommodation that could have been done using a supervisor's phone; while blocking the #. Other company go above and beyond this to provide assistance to people with disabilities on a 1 off/case by case basis such as carrying items for customers or reading an entire document for a customer or filling out a form. Yet they refuse a phone call saying they don't offer phone customer service vs finding a way to honor a 1 time request. She wasn't asking them to change their entire business model.

However, they had no problem accepting her money and order.

Tip for consumers:
If you dont want to patronize company that doesn't accommodate those w disabilities or you don't have the ability to email back and forth if you need customer service....don't order from them.

I ordered a like £80 Platform 9 3/4 bed sheet as I would have needed it for my wedding party on the 3rd of August.
I ordered it on the 10th of June. It does state the stuff will be arriving at least within 4 weeks. It didn't.
I was absolutely devastated, as it would've been a background for our fancy dress photos.
I won't ever order from Society 6.
I will get a refund, luckily, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I purchased 2 sets of curtains (4 panels) 50x96" for a rather hefty price. Only one panel measured 50" wide, two were 49, one was 50.5. All four were only 94 inches long instead of 96 and this was a big problem for me. I requested they replace them and they said they "could not guarantee the next set would be any more accurate" and offered me a 20% credit. I accepted their offer and they gave me a credit on only one set. When I questioned why the credit was short, they asked for more detailed photographs before they could issue more credit. I had already sent them a photo of the full length with a tape measure, but apparently that wasn't sufficient. I got better quality drapes from Amazon for less. Not going to order from Society6 again!

I ordered many different things in half december. It took more than a month to receive at least one of these packages and *there was customs fees to pay* - which adds almost 20 per package received: on 4 packages this is almost 80 (on a 130 purchase, basically it doubles up the price)!:(

SInce I had such a big delay in getting my items I have been refunded, but I will basically pay again for customs all that I got back:(
This make me decide that I will not make any more purchases from Society 6, it's really too expensive and stressful.
And I'm sorry, because the products quality is really good (and assistance too)

Society 6 is really not that great a site. It promises lots of things, but in the end just does not deliver. I have had to prod them, a couple of times to give me my money. One time they kept my money for an extra month and when I questioned them, they said, oh your money is on the way. Still took a week to get it. I have to admit that I only do this for the fun of it. But, S6 seems to try to make it harder to sell anything. They certainly do not make it easier. If I was really trying to make a living or supplement my income my selling art, there are lots of better sites out there.

Due to the cloth material of the pillowcases, they look years old after a few months. They pick up dirt and lint very easily. There's no way to get it off but to pick off the little black lint balls. It doesn't come off in the laundry.

Beware of lesser quality. Made with cheap materials.

I ordered a small art print on October 15th and it seemed to be taking a while to get here, but I thought that was fine at first because I live in Canada and shipping usually takes longer here. However I kept checking the tracking, and by October 29th it had reached Melrose Park, Illinois, and then the updates just stopped. On November 26th, the tracking finally updated and it said it was lost, so I contacted society6. They quickly sent me a replacement, but it never arrived at my house - instead I got a "addressee was not home, pick up at post office" card, even though I was home at the time they said they delivered it. I don't understand why they couldn't just have left it at my door like any other package. (the slip said that identification of receiver was requested by seller, so this is society6's fault, not Canada Post's.) So I finally picked it up today (December 8th) and I had to pay an extra $17 in customs, which is ridiculous for a print that only cost $20.99 in the first place. I was not aware there were going to be customs on it and if I was I would not have ordered the item. Very annoyed and disappointed with the whole experience, as the print was from a favourite artist of mine and I'd like to continue supporting them, but I will not be ordering from society6 again.

I ordered a "tough" iphone case from them and was very excited to get it, but when it arrived it was so disappointing! The quality of the case itself was not great (definitely not worth the $39 price tag!) and the print quality was horrible! It was very pixelated but I was particularly shocked by how different the colors were in real life vs the photo. I know computer screens can vary but this was almost a completely different image! Online the colors looked like bright pastels and in real life they were muddy and much darker. I think the image online must have been the design created on a computer rather than an image of the actual printed product hence such a color/tone difference. I added a star because I requested a refund for the product and was issued one immediately - so at least the customer service was efficient.

They will not cover shipping back on returns. Had to pay $45 for shipping back on a $175 order. Sadly will never be ordering for here again or recommending this site.
