Thank you Snakes at Sunset. I bought my daughter a ball python from you guys and I was so worried about the shipping from Florida to California but all my worries went away once he arrived. He is so healthy and beautiful and we couldn't be any more pleased. Communication about shipping was super clear and package arrived exactly when it was supposed to. I've read many of these reviews and I was scared at first but the owner is more caring for the safety of the animals than the profits I've ordered a rainbow boa and it showed up healthy and hungry she bit me already but it's to come from a reptile who was shipped and scared all she needs is more human contact with me and food and water so stop complaining u cry babies and grow a pair these are men's pets not girls pets

The snake was nice and smooth, big and healthy looking. I've always loved snakes and this one is no exception my daughter did get bitten and is now in hospital with in terminal condition. Womp womp

I bought a Central American boa constrictor (Nicaraguan) from ReptiMart.com and the snake is my first pet snake and she arrived alive and happy and now she's climbing in her cage and we is an absolute sweetie. Ordered my Western Hognose from the Snakes at Sunset website this week and he came the next day at 10am. I even called to ask about how long it takes them to normally ship an order and just make sure mine went through, and the man I spoke to was very helpful and professional. The packaging was secure and came with a sheet that explained the use/or lack of the hot/cold packs and how to remove your animal and properly warm them. My hoggy is in great shape! Beautiful and healthy, very active and was obviously accustomed to being handled. I'll definitely do more business here in the future.

So I saw a lot of negative reviews which made me nervous but I ordered a corn snake from them anyways. They are hard to communicate with, however they were very polite and I suspect the communication issue is more due to being very busy so I don't mind. My little snake was shipped overnight to hold and arrived happy and healthy. Glad I ordered from them.

GENERAL OVERVIEW: i've bought from them a couple of times, but it's always just been snakes. I bought a leucistic ball python, and two anery corn snakes. They always sent me exactly what i ordered, never scammed me & that's alot coming from someone who has been scammed by other companies in the past, just trying to find a reputable one.

SELECTION: Their selection is at times a bit more limited than some other places, but you can't beat their honesty. It's actually my first choice for snakes, provided they have the species/morph i am looking for.

HEALTH OF ANIMALS: both times, you could tell they really took good care of their animals. Even the ball python was a very healthy weight. I mention this only because most other ball python breeders i've run into will basically starve them to save $. They put the health of their animals before $ and that is very important to me.
LONG-TERM HEALTH: all three snakes ate like champs at the first time i fed them, and have continued ever since. The ball python is a couple years old now and the corns are several months of age. They never had any signs of mites, tremors, kinks, etc.

TEMPERAMENT: you could tell these guys had already had a few short bouts of handling. They were fairly tame, and easy to handle. They never coiled or hissed, at first were a bit shy but still calm. Only took a few weeks & they'd already lost most of that shyness.

CONS: perhaps the #1 downside here is that in most cases, you can't select a specific snake. You can choose male vs female, but it's a stock photo so while it will be very close, your snake may or may not look exactly like the one in the photos. I've never tried to make a special request, though. They might actually take special requests? I just know that if you do not specify, you just kinda get luck of the draw.

This next one probably is only an issue for me bc my geographical situation is quite unusual... and it's not really a con because i understand why they do it. They're doing it for the safety of the animals and i actually prefer that over convenience. Im in a rural area, live over an hr away from the nearest hub. On their website it basically mentions that sometimes even if temps fall within safe range, they may still decide to hold at the fedex hub. For this reason, i am hesitant to buy in when temps are barely above/below required lows/highs. But really it's not too much of a inconvenience all i have to do is time all my orders with the weather.

Received my Nelsons Milksnake yesterday on schedule and he's a beauty! He already took a pinky today so he in indeed a "Full Nelson"! I've named him Rebel and I want to thank Snakes at Sunset for the care in shipment and one more seamless transaction!

I asked for photos of the turtles and they promply sent and let me pick the picture of the turtle I wanted. Thanks snakes at sunset for a perfect transaction! I will be back for future purchases.

I've ordered reptiles by mail from many sources. I really only had trouble with one. But Snakes at Sunset isn't that one.
I can't tell you how long I've been waiting to find Jeweled Lacertas. They have been out of stock everywhere for the longest time. So when I found them, I was excited. I ordered them immediately and Snakes at Sunset kept me on top of when they would be sent and where I can pick them up due to weather issues.
It could not have gone smoother. I picked up my lizards which were in excellent heath and followed instructions to the T!
The lizards have adjusted to their environment and don't seem as timid as these lizards usually are.
I am extremely satisfied and look forward to doing business with them in the future!

I purchased a male red tegu! And the only thing I can say IS EXTREMELY EXTREMELY PLEASED PACKAGED PERFECTLY CAME WITH INSTRUCTIONS TEGU IS IN OUTSTANDING CONDITION 1-10 rating I gave them a 13!

I placed an order Friday evening, gave them a call Monday morning to check the status of the order and by Monday evening it was shipped out and I received it Tuesday morning. It was more beautiful than the picture on the site. I love him.

I ordered a emerald tree boa from snakes at sunset, I was hesitant after reading the reviews, but I gave them a call and talked to aerial. He was awesome! He's sent me pictures of all the babies and helped me pick one out. I paid for him online and got him the next day. Their prices were cheaper than others and their service is great! I highly recommend them.

I have had multiple good experiences when dealing with Quin. His customer service is great. He answers all of my questions and is very communicative regarding orders and shipping. Also my animals have always been professionally packaged and safely delivered by him.

I ordered a Butter morph Corn snake from them on Sunday, September 30th. Since they do not ship on weekends, it was shipped the next day on Monday. I received the snake very early today, and the package was professionally done. The snake was healthy and responsive. Personality was amazing. On top of all of this, the snake was extremely affordable. It came to under $100, overnight shipping and snake. Would extremely recommend. I saw many negative reviews on here; however, I had a great experience with Snakes at Sunset. I am a well experienced dart frog breeder and therefore, had many questions for the Snakes at Sunset team. They took their time to answer each one of my questions, they sent me photos of each animal, and sent the animals in a timely manner. After just receiving the frogs a few hours ago, I can see they are in great health and I would absolutely purchase from them again.

I was skeptical after reading the previous reviews, however, I went with my gut. While the response from MikeB was curt, it's the animal that counts for me, not the level of customer service.
My King snake arrived plump, no mites, no scale issues, warm from his heater and ready to explore his new 20 gallon condo. The true test will be in a few days when it comes feeding day, however, honestly I'm not real concerned, this is one chunky monkey. If appearance is any indication, this little guy has never missed a meal.
Very satisfied customer and I would not hesitate to buy from Snakes at Sunset again.
