I nearly gave up in buying ticket from Smartfare. How on earth will one make payment for a ticket and the payment was received and confirmed by a vendor but the vendor refused to issue the ticket for almost 24hr? The very first time it's happening to me. The worse is the customer care will always tell you to wait for another 2hrs without any response. One of them even asked to add $156 additional payment if i wanted my ticket to be issued. It was a very sad experience. Honestly, i won't ever think of buying or making any reservations with Smartfare

I booked two tickets online but it took more than 2 hours to receive my confirmation number, then to make matters worse when I called one of the male agents who helped me was so impatient and super cold/rude. Not looking forward to use the website again sorry
I needed to cancel my ticket reservation after 12hr and SmartFares try to charge me $75 airlines fee for cancelation. On your website as you advertise 24hr cancelation FREE! So it's definitely not free!
I liked the Price.
I booked a flight for my wife with the last name of HARTZ. When the ticket was issued it showed HARYZ. I called you folks but was told nothing could be done except to pay a $125 change fee for one letter. Alaska Air said they couldn't do anything because it was 3rd party but there should be no charge since it was with 24 hrs. And a minor name change. I had no choice but to pay the ransom because the ticket was worthless as printed. I did negotiate it down to $90 which made me feel no better.
I made an error on my passport name, just one letter. I tried to change the error by calling your reservation desk, they said I would have to pay $90us to correct it, I did not have a choice. I think this was disgusting, charging this kind of money for a very small correction, but in order to process the booking I had no choice. I am not happy with this type of overcharging.

I waited, still have not received any refund. Their customer service is full of rude men with indian accent (really hope they can be nicer).

The website is designed poorly to make it seem like many items are mandatory for choosing a flight. In particular the seat selection section, not choosing any automatically adds a $135 charge that is not even mentioned or highlighted and would go completely unnoticed unless you very thoroughly reviewed the price again all the way at the top of the browser, far away from the confirmation button at the very bottom.

After finding out I was charged 2 times I asked for a refund. I was told yes you would get a refund of the money but it would take 7 to 14 days. I was not happy about the time it took, so I expressed my dissatisfaction of this. I was told if I argue with the person I was talking to then he will make sure it would take anything up to 1 year. I put the phone down and dis continued the conversation. My bank has taken up the situation now with yourselves.

This site came up as one of the options to book a flight. I went ahead and booked with them. When I received the email confirmation, they charged for seat selection when I did not select any seating. I called them right away. They said they would take it off. They had not. I called three days later and they informed me that my flights were not available with the airline. I do not have confirmed tickets. Meanwhile I'm still charged. I could've been stuck in a foreign country with my family. I received an email of my flights confirmation from SmartFares. The email said that airline tickets would be issued within 24 hr. Now I have to wait another 5 days to receive a refund so I can book another flight to return home from vacation. This is totally unacceptable. Please avoid this site.

No information was provided to me for over 12 hours that the ticket price was sold out and I had to reach out to find this information. When the flight was finally booked and confirmed I was not provided with the new confirmation number for the airline. I was provided with wrong confirmation code for the airline. I could not pull up my reservation on the airline website. I had to call them and give them additional details and they added my booking in their system. It should have been done properly by the smart Fair employees.

When I was booking it was a pretty good price then when I submitted my card information and "paid" I received the confirmation email and to find out they charged me an extra $162 talking about the discount price has expired…… and I couldn't switch it for a cheaper flight tickets nor cancel it…

I booked two seats. Price was offered at 1130€ each. After i paid by credit card the total amount deductes on my account was around 2450€ all in all when it should have been 2260€. So. 200€ were charges for a reaaon still i dont know. Which means this fare is the same as other booking web sites and maje Smartfares none cheaper at all.
Also i didnt received the booking number and the flight e-tickets until 16 hours later, which made me rested a little bit anxious until i got them.

Nevertheless, after payment I discovered 0 plan for checked bag in both outbound and inbound directions.
There was no answer from customer support for my request to add checked bag for a reasonable price.
It was cheaper than the others before all additional costs like seat choice, checked bag, customer service (!), refund coverage and so on.

It would have been a 5 until 30 minutes after I got my booking confirmation, could see my information on Finnair and I get a sketchy call from someone stating that I bought mine too cheap and they had to charge me more!
This made me very uncomfortable! You claim to offer real time pricing but then I was told that they didn't accept the price. If that is the case, you should compensate. I followed my part and was unpleasantly surprised by this sketchy encounter.
