They did everything they needed to do in order to contact me ( Text, email and call) to ensure they had my correct order and that the sizing was correct. They to the time to inform me every step that was being taken via email.

I went to my sons eye doctor follow up and he told me that smartbuyglasses should let people know that the pupil need to be in a specific point in the glass and that this can only be correctly mesure with the right instrument.
So thanks to this I need to pay for lents I already paid for!

Do not order frames from SmartBuyGlasses. I tried to make a return and the customer service is AWFUL. I didn't get returned for my entire return and they have made me repeat myself to multiple reps, all of which asked me the same questions before passing me to someone else. There was clearly a processing issue with my return, but instead of taking responsibility for it, they asked me for photos (!) of the box I returned. I am out more than $700 and have little hope of ever getting my money back.
It cost me 22$ to return the fake designer sunglasses that arrived from Hong Kong. Very disappointed that a.ca webpage sales Chinese copies of designer sunglasses to Canadians pretending they are authentic…

1- This company is run out of Hong Kong and the Philippines, with sub-standard customer service/support
2- Their claim of 100% satisfaction guarantee refers only to them getting paid, but not for customer service/support or warranty.
3- good luck trying to get your money back on defective glasses or bad prescription... they will make returning the glasses difficult and expensive to ship the glasses back to them
4- polarizer films not installed properly on the lens with a lot of stress marks along the edges. This can be seen by the human eye, but is emphasized in front of the lcd monitor. These people do not stand by their product and say that this is normal.

Just received my Raybans, From Hong Kong! Pretty sure they're fake. The plastic feels of a very poor quality and the packaging just doesn't sit right with me, the lenses also seem a little brittle for such an expensive pair of sunglasses.
I'll have them checked over and update.

Bought a pair of in-stock sunglasses only to be emails the next day that the item happens to be unavailable and must take weeks to be ordered from the manufacturer. This is total bait and switch. Now that they have my money I'm SOL. Do not buy from these scammers!

Return process not valid. Non workable links and vague customer support with references to "a dedicated team member" addressing the issue. Glasses shouldn't be this difficult to return if SmartGlasses.ca are a genuine and reputable company dedicated to customer service and products satisfaction.
They are quick to take you money. After three weeks and numerous emails I was told they cannot install polarized lenses into a full frame rim. 3 days later still no pending refund on my credit card. If the the price is to good to be true you know why.

HARD to understand especially when they say they areva Canadian Company. This is A Lie. Sounds like a scam... And nooo where was I warned about having to pay a heafty duty fee. So upsetting... Initially I was excited to order because I found the shades I wanted for a pretty good price. I was notified a couple days later after purchasing that I have to send an i. D picture for verification, which I thought was strange because I paid debit card. After verification I was notified days later that the shipment will be at least another month for shipping. Very dissatisfied I wouldn't recommend ordering from this site. And I'm still waiting for my frames to arrive.

Order sunglasses from them, paid with Visa and they contacted me stating my visa was flagged as a risk, they would 'refund' me and to make payment with Paypal (red flag #1). This sounded strange right there so I contacted Visa who said everything was fine on their end, the $400 payment went through no problem.
I started looking into this supposedly Canadian store more. They are in Hong Kong (red flag #2).
I contacted the manufacturer of the sunglasses I order who had never heard of this store, so it wasn't an authorized store (red flag #3). They provided me with details how to spot fakes, or at least what to look for on this exact model for what is authentic.
Google searches and reading here, reddit, other review sites, this store is 100% selling fakes. Any customer who claims otherwise has been fooled into thinking they got a real pair.
Stay away. Spend the extra 10% and buy from an authorized store. These guys are slime bags.
I purchased a pair of Prada sunglasses that upon first inspection I knew they were fake. No serial number etched into the inner lens, and other indicators that these were not authentic. I own several pairs of Prada sunglasses and these are not real Prada. Very disappointed and seeking a return and refund. Thank God I used PayPal because I will fight through them if I get the run around.
***Update. I returned the glasses to smart buy after contacting customer service and following their instructions for returns. The refund has been processed and I am relieved and happy it was done quick and without hassle.

I bought 2 Brand name women's frames only and they were too small so I emailed them (they have no customer service phone number supposedly) several times and they finally gave me the address to ship them back to. I paid for shipping and ship the 2 frames back to them but never received a refund of $250 on my credit card. This company is a SCAM and should be shut down immediately by the police and the owners thrown in jail for the crooks they are!
After waiting past the 7-10 days for my order, I chatted with a customer service rep. She said my order was on hold because they didn't have my PD which I sent twice with the original order. She then came back and said that the order was completed on July 14th (chat attached) but didn't know why they had not shipped. I then received an email from the customer service person saying that they didn't have my PD. I sent it twice more but still don't have my glasses.
Update - Received my glasses but there is more...
After receiving my glasses they seemed a bit off, blurry in sections. The prescription was the same one I usually wear but I figured I should wear them for a while and see if my eyes will adjust. After 3 weeks I notified SmartBuyGlasses customer support and they said to explain the problem so I said there are areas that are blurry. They said I should wear them for a couple of weeks and I stated that I have been wearing them for 3 weeks and the problem is still there. They then told me that if I cannot describe the problem more specifically to the optometrist that they would not be able to refund them and I would have to send them back on the 100-day return policy (where you pay for shipping) which I argued several times. They then gave me a return number that would expire in 7 days so I had to ship them express that same day to get them there on time which cost me almost $40. After 2 weeks and several more emails, they finally gave me a refund for $35 less than what I paid. Now costing me $75 and still no glasses.
I finally went to Len Crafters and paid the premium price which was $200 more than SmartBuyGlasses plus the $75 for my bad mistake of buying from SmartBuyGlasses. The new ones are absolutely perfect and actually look different than the same Tom Ford models I received from SmartBuyGlasses.
BTW - the response from them saying they will help but I didn't provide order details is also wrong. I uploaded my full order on this site and they called me.

Do not buy here, it seems cheaper but in the long run its worth it to just buy them from a store that backs their products.

Bought a pair of glasses... 10 days after got an email saying they were preparing for delivery. Finally contacted them after waiting patiently for 15 days to find out that they wanted me to pay through PayPal because my credit card transaction was flagged as "high risk".

I will never ebver buy fo this ae agai. It took a month to recived them to find the progressive lens were made to high and should be lowered. They would not let me keep them untill a replacment was sent as I had broken my prior sunglasses. They want me to return and wait another month unexceptable! Stay away completely. Ordered glasses about 3 weeks ago. Was told a week after ordering that their out of stock, I said I'd gladly wait as they contact the manufacturer to get a new shipment. 2 weeks after that, the order updated in my account to "product discontinued" I wasn't even notified, I had to contact customer service myself about this. So 3 weeks wasted. Gone. Now i just requested a refund. I won't be ordering from here ever again and neither should you. Save the time.
It took 48 days to get my glasses and the left lens prescription was wrong. I had to ship back at my cost and did not get a full refund.

Havent received my glasses or a refund for glasses that were shipped to a wrong address. Its about to be two weeks that they delivered it to the wrong address. After i screenshot three different proofs of delivery that were sent to me; nobody decided to reply. This is starting to seem like a scam website to me. Then I contacted them asking about the invoice and they told me that the invoice would be ready when the order gets shipped. Then during the chat the said "oh, the item you ordered is discontinued". Really, I can't believe that this is a professional way for a 100% online company to deal with customers. I don't recommend dealing with them.

Just received my Tom Ford eye wear. It came from Hong Kong, rather than Canada. They are total fakes. I know this because I own three other pairs of REAL Tom Ford glasses. I wish I had done my research prior to buying, as it is clear that I am not the only one who was scammed. The website looks totally legit, and they even have a page where they talk about their community service, whereby they have donated over $2MM in eye wear to the needy. Shame on you, and shame on the government who lets this continue, despite all the complaints.
