  • And as a further act of "customer service" I received a refund for $1 Insulting and disappointing.
  • The Skin Store response was that orders over 40 days is untraceable and will not be refunded or resent.

“I was worried”

I placed an order with the skin store then seen horrible reviews and thought oh no! But I received my order fast! Within 4 days and the products were authentic! The order was correct and I'm happy!😊

“Horrendous Customer Service”

I didn't even know that treating customers as poorly as SkinStore does could be possible in this day and age. They make customers jump through hoops to return faulty, expired, defective products that they seem to repeatedly send out. These are high end products; everyone should do themselves a favor and purchase from reputable retailers who protect their customers if things go wrong. My experience with Skinstore is nothing short of robbery.

Verified purchase

I ordered two items for Christmas in late November and received a shipment about a week later. Unfortunately the box did not contain what I ordered and instead had three items from the Dr. Dennis Gross line (?). I contacted customer service on 12/6. It's currently 1/28 and no response. I ended up giving away what was sent which seems just as well given how many people never receive refunds. Extra star because the items I got were likely more valuable than what I paid.

The positive: I ordered Skinceuticals products during their 15% off sale, which they normally have 2x/year. I also got a rebate from one of the rebate websites, which gave me 16% back. The rebate has in the past has been 20%. The negative is, they don't have a customer VIP program, which means I can't earn points for rewards. They also do not let you change or cancel an order even on the same day that it is placed.

The negative: Delivery is worse than snail-like. I placed 2 orders on Black Friday. The more expensive order ($200+) was delivered in about 15 days by FedEx. The second order was delivered in 23 days, in significant part because UPS handed the package to USPS, which took 10 days to ship it from California to Hawaii.

I made a sizable purchase which included a free gift of a vitamin C serum. When my order arrived, the serum was very dark brown which I was concerned was not the color it should be. When I inquired with their customer service both by chat and by email, I was given a complete run around... asking for pictures and dates and codes on the bottle which were not there. I provided all their requests and received no solid help. Bottom line - if a customer is dissatisfied, the company should make it right. I know this product was expired but they tried to deny it. Will not be purchasing from them ever again!

Ordered a travel size T3 hairdryer from this company. I live in the UK. Price was on sale. Item arrived with an American plug on it. I bought an adapter and plugged it in. It did work but the adapter cost me 16.99. But am now concerned that the hairdryer may be fake, after reading reviews. Hopefully not.

Most skincare companies should allow exchanges for products that cause adverse reaction or when a product has been reformulated. Skinstore wouldn't even let me get a store credit, which most places normally would. The hsipped promptly, but the rest of the process sucked. Dermstore is a lot BETTER!

Do not order from skin store

While I am pleased to say after writing a harsh review on trust pilot they did get back to me it is nine days later and they have finally given me a legitimate tracking number that shows my $182. Whats of products is now at their partner shipping center and USPS is waiting for it Im not sure how it takes nine days. I have a very bad feeling about this and I would love to be able to give them a positive post
