I have been with sitedudes for over a year

I have been with sitedudes for over a year. During this time I have had several updates/corrections to make on our site. I would provide them with explicit detailed instructions on what changes I wanted made yet they rarely made the changes right. Most of the time, you have to contact them several times to make more corrections as they never seem to get it right. It is time consuming and frustrating to have to detail what you want changed and then not seeing them follow through correctly. For example, They had cut and pasted the map from our old website to our new one but never bothered to move the drop pin to our new street adress. Several potential customers were angry with us when they followed the pin drop to our old adress, parked in a busy downtown area, and realized we are no longer located there. I contacted sitedudes more than once about it but it's like we were speaking two different languages. Mine being plain English and theirs obviously something else!
Their online chat would be a great feature if it wasn't for them giving incorrect answers here and there. The online chat person often answers the potential customer with incorrect information and then fails to ask the person for contact info so that you could at least follow up. This is a company that makes many mistakes time and time again. Once you get your website up and don't need any changes up, you would think that you would be okay... Wrong! Once, our website was down for an entire month and we didn't even know about it. A potential customer took the time to contact us by phone and reported the problem. She said that she had been trying our website for several weeks with no success and finally decided to call. Wow! We were not aware our website was down as sitedudes had not notified us of any problems. When we called them about it they stated that they were aware of the problem and had tried to contact their customers although they admitted they had not attempted to contact us for some reason. Oh well... it's not their business suffering right? Then they think that crediting you the one month service that you already paid for, for service you didn't get would make up for all the incovenience and potential loss of business. A year later, I'm still with them but only because I have invested so much time into building this website and I haven't found a better way out!
