The bread is all wonderful, although pumpkinickle is by far my favorite...so my second order was all that! Has a great taste, texture and while much more expensive than grocery store bread, the quality is worth it.
My only question that I wasn't able to find on the website or on the bread or social media was the shelf life. I finally found it printed very small on the tag after 1 week, but was so nervous about it going bad! Also, is the plastic packaging ok to put in the freezer? These unknowns were the only reason for not giving 5 stars across the board. I love how soft the bread is. Being vegan gluten free for many reasons, it has been years since I've had anything resembling pumpernickel bread...so I've loved the delicious veggie sandwiches they make! Glad that I found you all. Thank you for doing what you do!
Trader Joe's GF bread products have superior texture, flavor and consistency compared to your breads. I tried 3 varieties of yours and the loaves are dense and crumbly. The slices disintegrate if put in a toaster and taste bland and bla. Your customer service and website were easy and efficient, but I won't order your bread again, nor recommend it to anyone. Schaar also has excellent bread too. Their GF chocolate cookies are sooo good. You should taste TJs gf bagels, raisin bread and whole grain bread, toasted with butter and you won't eat yours again. Udi's has awful tasting bread products too. Frozen bricks that should be used to build houses not bodies.
Had some of your bread about a week ago at Branch Out Foods in Paducah, KY. I told my wife it was the best gluten-free bread I had ever tasted. I asked them about it and they gave me your name. Can't wait to try your loaves. Thank you.
Tried quinoa & pumpkinickel - really good tasting!
I love the moisture and the texture.
The sourdough has a bite or after taste.
We are enjoying the bread.
They bread arrived a day early and we were out of town, fortunately our neighbor rescued it for me.
The bread is beautiful and well packaged.
Loved that the bread is moist and hearty. Thought it is a little overpriced but I'm in favor of supporting small companies so for now I can accept that. Also the turn around time is a little long from the time the bread is ordered. I like the plain sourdough best.
Finally! I LOVE bread. 15 years ago I found out that I am highly gluten intolerant. I have never found a bread that I can really enjoy until Simple Kneads. I like the Sourdough the best. No one can figure out how you made bread that doesn't fall apart in a sandwich, without eggs or fillers! Amazing and so delicious! Thank you Simple Kneads!
Sorry but neither the sourdough or quinoa breads worked for me. Sourest taste. Maybe it's my taste buds, but I didn't enjoy it.
If possible, I would like to try your Simple Kneads pumpernickle, but I prefer not to try it out by ordering one of your two loaf options. In other words, if such an option were available, I would order 3 sourdough and 1 pumpernickle. Thank you.
I'm so happy I'm able to order this online myself! I'm gluten intolerant and this is by far the BEST bread substitute I have found. I had been purchasing at Whole Foods in Huntersville and they have been out of it for 3 weeks or more.
Is there a way to order four different kinds of bread in one box?
Is there a way to order the multipack from the mobile phone web page?
Where do you get coupons?
What is the average turnaround time from ordering to shipping. I ordered I think on Wed. And it was shipped the next Monday.
I really liked the pumpernickel. Haven tried the others. I shared my order with a friend and they tried all 3 and didnt like any. I found on line pricing and minimum quantities too expensive but happy to know i can go to whole foods!
I was excited to try the mixed loaves. The sourdough didn't read much different from the power grain in flavor though - I was looking for that definite "tang". The texture was rather spongey, but toasting it darker definitely helped.
Hello! I love this bread. Only gluten free bread I will eat. If I eat gluten I have a reaction and get inflammation. This bread causes me no inflammation. Best tasting and made with the best ingredients. No fillers or starch added like in so many other gluten free breadsI feel good after eating it. Even my gluten eating friends like it.
I loved your website, and hopefully, I will feel the same way about your breads. Unfortunately, I did not like the sourdough bread at all. The taste was nothing like sour dough, and it was rather bitter.
The bread is great! The sourdough tastes like a wheat version of sourdough. Pretty good stuff, just not the San Francisco sourdough I was expecting. Still very yummy though. Haven't tried the Quinoa loaf yet.
Order process was easy, bread arrived on time and good quality. The sourdough doesn't taste a whole lot like sourdough, and the quinoa tastes exactly like the sourdough, which I found strange. I haven't tried the pumpkinnickel yet, am hoping it has a different taste, I don't really think the bread is any better than gluten free bread you can get in the store, so I won't be ordering again.
I've wanted to try your bread for a long time. I finally took the plunge. I ordered the sourdough bread. I've almost eaten one loaf already. Next time I order, I will order a variety of your breads. The sourdough is delicious.
Answer: Sure. I bought 4 breads and keep them in the freezer.
