They are Making it Right
I hired a freelancer from UPWORK to update my 22-year-old floating dog ramp website. The developer ended up deleting a file in the file manager and my site was gone, reviews and all.
After trying to find someone to either fix it or create a new site, I got a call from Simple.Biz I listen to the sales pitch and told the person I was desperate, and I needed my website up and running
They told me 9 days for a website. It is going on 5 months. They had a site mostly done in 2 weeks, and for the most part it looked great, however I was quite vocal about what I did not like. I would send them mockups of the header and the footer and complained about the resolution of pictures they were using. For a long time, there were no changes made to the site. Jeff the project manager is polite, and sounds like a young guy. I would have appreciated if he just talked straight, I would ask him specific questions, and he always managed to evade answering them.
I got fed up and posted a negative review. A person named Dillon called and said he was going to be in charge of my account
Since Dillon stepped in, I have seen a lot of movement and improvements. I can tell they have in good faith tried to make me happy.
My site is almost ready to go live, and I am feeling hopeful that customers will find our products. I think Simple Biz has a good concept, however their implementation needs improvement. They should have given me a questionnaire asked a few questions about my business goals, or what the keywords I want to capitalize on. I'm honestly rooting for them and want them to win. I have given them 2 more days to get any bugs out of my site. Once am satisfied, I have three more sites that I need done. Even thought I posted a scathing review. The company has creative and technical talent, and they are trying, and that is what I need to see more than anything. I will keep updating this review!
