I'm writing this in hopes that others can avoid having the awful experience I had -- by going elsewhere. This whole place is a nightmare. I went in for a diagnostic breast mammogram. When I made the appointment, they failed to tell me that they needed my previous imaging -- and they also failed to get it from my doctor or the other imaging places. I have a broken knee, so I'm in a wheelchair, and my husband had to drive me. We drove all the way there, to be told that they refused to do the mammogram without my previous imaging. That was gas money, my time, my husband's time, the pain of dealing with a broken knee while getting in and out of a car, etc. Not to mention, if there is a problem, more time for it to grow. We rescheduled, and I spent literally a full day, nonstop, trying to get the images to them, since I figured they wouldn't be doing their job in them. On holds, menus, etc. Literally all day. I called them many times to see if they got the images, but for some reason, the call center can't connect one to the office. I got the office manager's number, but her voice mail was always full, and she never answered the phone. Fast forward to my next appointment. It was for 11:30 this morning. I got a text the day before saying it was for 11:30, but one later in the day saying 12:30, so I figured they changed my appointment time. My husband and I went in -- broken knee, gas money, both of our time, etc. They said I was an hour late. I said the appointment had been changed to 12:30. They said it wasn't -- that that was an automated center in Arizona and not their office. Then they said I had two appointments -- one at 11:30 and one at 12:30. I said I only had one -- for a diagnostic mammogram. They said I also had a diagnostic ultrasound. I told them something I had also told them last time I'd been there -- that I had had the diagnostic ultrasound elsewhere, and only needed the diagnostic mammogram. They insisted that it was for both. I said that since I was fifteen minutes early for my 12:30 appointment, would they please do just the mammogram. They refused. This is the last day of the year, and I have already met my insurance out-of-pocket, but as of tomorrow, I have a new out-of-pocket starting -- so I'll have to pay a co-pay. No matter what I said, they refused to give me my 12:30 diagnostic mammogram. I will never go back to this horrible, nasty, uncaring, rude, vile place. They don't care at all about their patients' time, money, or lives. (Because now I have to wait even longer to get a diagnostic mammogram -- and if anything bad is growing, this just gives it longer to grow before diagnosis and treatment.) This place is literally vile.
DO NOT USE SIMONMED IMAGING NATIONWIDE! This is a fraudulent company, regardless of location, who will relentlessly try to obtain more money from you. I paid for my portion of a bill (which matched my EOB) for SIMONMED IMAGING FL to their PO BOX in Dallas, TX, and they continue to try and extract more money from me after I provided proof of payment. I have made a countless number of phone calls to their customer service number *******091) and provided proof I paid them correlating (date of service, copy of statement I paid, EOB, and even my check they deposited into their account, but they still continue commit fraud by using their bullying tactics and threats for collections to obtain more income for their pocketbooks. They cannot seem to get basic accounting correct.
After countless phone calls to their NOT-customer service number, they should be paying me for my time at this point.
Again - STAY AWAY from SIMONMED IMAGING nationwide! See the list of BBB complaints - this is where I am headed to next.
