Over 20 years ago I bought some wicking long johns and an undershirt from Sierra. They are still going strong. 6 months ago I bought myself a small backpack and some trekking poles. I do a lot of hiking, as I blog about local hiking trails. Both items were extremely reasonably priced and I love them. My husband bought himself a lightweight warm vest and he lives in it. It has been washed many times and still looks good. Currently, I am looking to upgrade my xcountry ski gear and my snow shoes, I will be stopping in Sierra shortly.

I've been shopping here for years womens shoes, kids shoes, household items etc... It's worth taking the time to look through what they have. You don't find what you're looking for, oh well. If you do, you'll get the best price out there for it. Their customer service is always very friendly and easy to work with. Returns are also easy.

I called back to make a change and expected them to tell me I would have to return ship and reorder, but they were able to change it immediately! So grateful!

Looked everywhere for good quality insulated camouflage coveralls. I finally found some but they were all around $100 found some really nice ones here on sale for $49.

Sierra Trading Post often has some of the best prices around for the comparison shopper. However if you hesitate, that great deal may disappear quickly.

Sierra Trading Post has great deals and lots of great prices when combined with the daily email offers. Lots of their products are high quality and at such unbelievable prices that I am sometimes in shock. I buy not only clothing but household items such as rugs, boot trays, bar tools, glasses, cleaning products, etc., etc. I usually head towards the clearance section where some items are up to 95% off. I will just come out and say it: I LOVE SIERRA TRADING POST. Great customer service and easy return policy also.

This company has had great products and service for many years! I would highly recommend them.

Once a package was delivered to an old address on the opposite side of the country, and when I contacted customer service, they apologized and said that there had been a computer glitch; they gave me several good options to get the package.

There are great coupons if you sign up for the email, but be prepared to receive a lot of emails.

Bargains on quality merchandise, lots of coupon codes emailed daily and UPS delivery! We don't have reliable postal service so UPS shipping (very fast) is key to getting our stuff! Always new products and the service is top-notch. I shop online everyday and sierra trading post is unbeatable!

Sierra Trading Post is a great online ordering company, specializing in Winter Recreational gear. They have all the top brands in that category: NorthFace, Patagonia, and Columbia, to name some. And get this--you have a whole 6 MONTHS before returning, if you don't like, for a FULL REFUND! They even include a shipping label so shipping is free too! Unbelievable! I ordered a pair of Bearpaw women's boots BEFORE reading all the reviews. The price was amazing and they had the color and size I wanted. After I ordered them I saw all the horrible, negative reviews and honestly didn't even expect to get the boots. Well they came today. They are the real deal, not knock offs and were packaged the way Bearpaw always packs them. I have been buying this brand for a LONG time. All in all it took 9 days to get them but I expected that after reading what everyone else had to say. Based on this experience I would definitely order from them again. Just wanted to put a positive review to let others that are new to Sierra Trading Post like I am, that not all experiences are bad. Ended up saving about 40.00 on the boots too. So I'm happy!

Sierra Trading Post started as a catalog company based in Cheyenne, WY specializing in outdoor gear and clothing and it expanded from there. Everything it sells is stock overruns, closeouts, seconds, etc., so it's discounted to begin with. It also sells a lot more than outdoor gear these days. Lots of coats, clothing of all sorts, shoes, housewares, rugs, you name it. Once you get on their email list you get all sorts of offers for 25% off this selection of merchandise or 60% off that selection. So if you're careful you can end up with some very good deals. Last year I spent $30 on a pair of Teva sandals that were selling for $120 in stores.

Customer service if you need it is friendly and helpful. Returns are about $6. I have returned things that I found I didn't like or didn't fit once I got them. Read the reviews of an item, if there are any, for info on fit and quality.

STP has become my favorite online shopping site. I browsed their "barn burner" deals for years & finally signed up for their email deal flyers last fall. Wow! Can't beat the prices when you buy their deal flyer items. Read the reviews carefully unless you already know the brand, what it looks like, how it fits. I google their more esoteric brands and always find them to be reputable, and even luxury names. I've scored great deals on high quality clothing, shoes, gloves, towels... etc If there is a problem with style or fit, returns are simple, no hassles. STP is a great place to stock up on staples like the cotton T-shirts my husband wears under shirts in the winter or luxurious bath towels at bargain basement prices

The two one-star reviews here sound like they were written by the same person. If you want something shipped to another country, expect customs fees and delays. I've shipped packages from the US to many other countries - for some reason US to Canada is notoriously slow & expensive. That's no reflection on STP. Move to the US or buy your hunting gear in Canada - there, problem solved ;)

I have been shopping Sierra Trading Post for over 20 years now, always completely satisfied with everything I purchased... all i can say is Awesome!

This company has very good customer service. For example, I ordered a bunch of stuff and then needed to send some back (I ordered several styles and sizes on purpose with the intent to send some back). Then I received an email with a big discount percentage and ordered some more stuff. In the meantime, I received the first order and called to initiate a return and to see if I could apply the return $ to the second order (doing it this way ensures free shipping for the returns and for the new order). Even though it had been a couple of days since I placed the second order, they took care of this for me no problem. I even decided to make an exchange for one of the return items and they made it so I would receive free shipping on this order too even though I also added another (new) item to it. They were very pleasant to deal with and they shipped the orders very quickly. Of course the quality of the items you purchase will depend on the manufacturer, not Sierra Trading Post, but they handle everything excellently. Only one thing I wasn't thrilled about was that they charged sales tax on my purchases.

Ordered numerous items from Sierra Trading Post over the past couple years. Items are not fakes - excellent prices. Sometimes size isn't available. Some great deals - received an authentic North Face jacket for less than half the cost of retail. Items always changing so keep checking site

Late last summer I purchased a beautiful nightgown from the Sierra Trading Post.

It was originally $65. The item was on sale for $20 plus $5.95 for shipping.

It arrived well packaged and in a timely manor.
I love the bright design. In addition, the fabric washes well and is very soft.
