If possible, I would give negative star! The file converter (for local files) would not let me select nor drag any files to the converter. This functionality worked previously in Mac OS 11.6 (Big Sur) but no longer works after upgrading to Mac OS 12.6. If I attempt to select files to convert via the "+" all m4p files are grayed out & I can't select any. If I attempt to drag files or select files by clicking on the Add button simply NOTHING HAPPENS. No errors or informational messages are received.

Many of the songs I converted pulled in the wrong versions of the songs- versions I didn't even know existed. VERY Very annoying! Sidify was ZERO help on this issue.

Customer support (by email only) is a JOKE. Their responses are stupid- as though they are stalling for time. You reply immediately but then you don't hear from them for another 3+ weeks. I did a 30 day trial but I was only able to use Sidify for a week before I encountered the above issues. The rest of the month was a total loss because the customer support took so long to respond & when they did it was nonsense & never resolved anything. When I requested more time on my trial they took WEEKS to oblige after a lot of back & forth & delays in response. By the time I had the spare time to work on Sidify again the extended time on the trial license expired. I have 2 tickets & I've emailed them several times about the expired license & how I never got anything working and no resolution to my 2 tickets. Now they have simply stop responding.

In addition to poor customer support (only available via email) Documentation is also slim & stupid. How do you not give details of a functionality? For example, here's a response I replied to them: Your response and the documentation is not helpful concerning the file format converter. The documentation only states, " In Tools tab, Sidify provides users with the features of format conversion and tag edition to help manage the music files more conveniently.". How is that statement even remotely useful when details about "the features" are not given? That makes no sense. Please consider modifying this section of your documentation because as it is it's absolutely useless!

All I can say is I'm glad that I didn't do a subscription, and by all means STAY AWAY FROM THESE JOKERS!

Since I've been posting honest reviews, I've been receiving threats and hate-mail from Sidify. Allow me to address any concerns Sidify may have while also presenting what to expect if the decision is made to subscribe to Sidify Music Converter.

First and foremost, I am not affiliated with any company, including Tunemobie as Sidify suggests. (I subscribed to Tunemobie after Sidify breached their contract and decided to control my computer.) Through hours and hours of research for the best DRM Removal tool, I chose to purchase Sidify. Everything worked as planned until the 60 day mark, which is the max timeframe when credit cards will not dispute a charge. At that point Sidify throttled down my conversion speed, the program became extremely unstable, and they then limited the number of files I could convert per month.

I wrote Sidify, they had me jump through infinite hoops, did not offer a resolve, and refused to refund my fees; hence keeping me under contract. I did use Sidify again this month and my conversions were limited again with a conversion speed of almost 4mins/song. My songs averaged around 3-4mins, so this 10x conversion speed they boast is completely NON-EXISTENT.

Sidify's customer service is also quite poor. Their responses to questions are usually more questions or requests to gain access to one's computer. Luckily it's running on a PC I can reset back to factory without worrying about losing anything.

In short, despite all their hate-mail and threats for posting ACCURATE reviews, and their demands for positive, inaccurate reviews, I will continue to post reviews of what I experience with the lacking and unstable performance of this program, every time I utilize Sidify Music Converter and it's SLOW and completely UNSTABLE platform while this company refuses to refund me under BAIT and TRAP advertising, or until they uphold their end of the contract and provide their stated 10x conversion speed at a constant rate with unlimited file conversions- as agreed upon when purchasing the subscription.

As previously mentioned, I have also subscribed to TUNEMOBIE and am fairly pleased. Their conversion is about 100 files/hr and their customer service responds with solutions. I highly recommend this service. I've tried Sidify and 4 others, and TUNEMOBIE gets the job done fairly well.

The intent of my reviews are not to bash one company over another. However, I do hope to save you the immense amount of time it has taken me to find a reliable and efficient conversion program. I will say, the hate-mail from Sidify was not part of the contract either, so I would expect that and the threats to cease if you don't want that included in my future reviews.
