“Buyer Beware”

If I could give them no stars I would. Buyer beware: in our case they did not deliver what we paid for and customer service during and after was non-existent. We booked a private fishing charter for our cruise stop in Cozumel. We got to the designated meeting spot 40 minutes early and waited and waited. The instructions said someone from the boat would come find us and by 15 minutes after the meeting time no one showed up so one of our party went looking for the boat. There were hundreds of boats and we could not locate. At 3o minutes after meeting time we called Shore Excursioneer and after multiple long holds and requests from them to once again walk up and down numerous docks we were finally told, sorry, the boat was double booked and left with another party. What? Our whole day was ruined because by then it was too late to get another excursion (not that they offered to help find one). When we got home I emailed them three times asking for a refund of the $750 we paid, an explanation of what happened, and reimbursement of our taxi to and from the fishing pier and other compensation. They never responded. Finally I got through on the chat feature on their website. Our money was refunded promptly but they would not reimburse the taxi without receipts. Who get receipts from a cab in Mexico? Just stupid. If I ran this company I would reimburse the $40 just to show good will. They offered a $100 credit but ONLY on the same fishing boat in Cozumel. We're not going back to Cozumel any time soon, and if we did we certainly wouldn't book with the same company or boat. No one ever explained how this happened. Long story short: buyer beware. We will never book through Shore Excursioneer again and urge others to proceed with caution.

Be aware I did a booking with this company and it took my money and yes it said that it would confirm the booking but they shouldn't of taken my money until the booking was confirmed as this tour wasn't even taking bookings for next year. Now I am out of pocket 200 AUD cause the tour was in USD so the fees and exchange rate once converted I don't get back and it is frustrating they take booking for a tour not even available yet. Very frustrating so be careful when booking.

We used this service during our most recent cruise. We booked a day at the Hotel Cozumel and Resort. Were promised a huge pool. Beach access, food and drink. What a disaster.
Pool not just cold, icy cold. No beach access unless you are a scuba diver. Unappetizing food. Unfamiliar liquor bottles. We stayed 45 minutes. Paid well over $100. This booking sire offered only excuses

My advice would be book your excursion elsewhere. We booked our trip through this 'company' we were provided pick up instructions which we follows by putting into google. When we arrived at the pick up point nobody showed up I tried to call numbers provided to no response. We never got to experience the trip! When we finally got in contact with someone we were more or less told it was our own fault and refused to give a refund. Do your self a favour book through a good company even if you have to pay extra as you will definitely get to experience your trip!

Giving this company your money could ruin your trip. They will take your money but there is not guarantee that the excursion that you booked will be waiting for you when you get there. Don't let this company ruin your trip. Research the web more before trusting them as there are MANY bad reviews. I'm not sure why they have such good reviews here?

A few families including ours had planned Scandinavia cruise end of June 2019 and we were so excited to visit Norwegian countries. We found this site shoreexcursioneer.com and the platform looked nice and all information presented led us to believe it would be very easy to use and it sync-up with our port logistics. Right out the gate at our first port Brugge, we didn't see anyone or anyone with information about how to get to the Hop on/hop off to Belgium and upon inquiry we found out it's 75 miles out and there is no way we would use the hop on/off tickets at Belgium with the time constraint. We felt so helpless!

We did inquire about the port transfer information however I had to ask and it's NOT included in each of the ticket package information of which it's required to print out to read. All the information printed did not include ANY detail about the port especially Brugge. To me, this is misleading and it should have been part of the full ticketing detail as customers would print out and do better planning. We did not end-up using the hop on/off tickets at Belgium and we requested shoreexcursioneers for refund of the unused tickets and they denied us based on the fact that one of the email thread they included the map and information of which (I did not read in detail). It indicated that the brugge to Belgium is a self-arranged transportation of which is 2.5 hours away and logistically speaking there is NO way we could use the tickets. The website business model is designed in such a way that customers are led to believe all the PORT logistics and excursions are coordinated and sync-up for a full and convenient experience.

As I shown the printed one-page ticket to the people at the PORT at Brugge, they had NEVER seen such company. We would have expected that if the logistics did not work well with the hop on/off tickets to Belgium I would really expect an honest answer from the staff indicating the challenge as they work closing with the cruise itinerary. Had we known, we would have planned better and accordingly.

I was really disappointed when we denied the refund as we all felt so hopeless and helpless at Brugge port of call.

Just want to relate this experience for any potential customers want to use the shoreexcursioneers.com for any excursion plans. Please please ask ALL the questions and keep for records and make sure you are well aware of the time/logistics/connection/transfers/maps as they would not be included in the ticket. The ticket itself only has very minimal information included.

I really think all the proper information, disclosure, maps and anything that can help the travelers for a smooth and pleasant experience should be included in the ticket voucher print out.
