Buyer Beware... I recently leased a car from Empire Subaru in Huntington, NY. I was hoping for a pleasant experience to compensate for a stressful and trying 2020. After test-driving a Subaru Limited, I told the salesman, V. R., that I would like a fully loaded Limited with all the bells and whistles. I never once talked price with him. He said the car I am interested in would be available in a few days. I came back the next week, signed all the papers and drove off in my brand new top-of-the-line Limited - or so I thought. Several days later, I discovered that my 'fully loaded' car did not come with the GPS Navigation System. While working out an arrangement with the Sales Manager, K. M., to compensate for this 'oversight', he failed to mention to me that, in addition to the car not having the GPS Navigation System, it also did not come with the Harmon Karden Stereo System that fully loaded Crosstrek Limiteds come equipped with. My 'top-of-the-line' Limited came with an average, run-of-the-mill stereo. I had to hire a law firm to deal with the fact that I was a victim of a 'bait and switch' tactic. I thought the days of the devious, unscrupulous car salesman was a thing of the past. Apparently not. I would not recommend this dealership (in particular, the gentlemen I had to work with) to anyone looking for a pleasant, above-board car leasing or purchasing experience. Buyer Beware...
