I ordered 3 pair of shoes from this Canadian company and I am very impressed with how quick the order arrived,. Items were sent by a courier company and arrived within one business day. The shoes fit very well (true to size) and are of good quality. The online site is easy to maneuver about and they have a great selection of products to choose from. I am very impressed with this company and will use them again for future footwear needs,

I ordered three items. One item shipped right away and I received it quickly. The other two items "shipped" a couple days later. However, after two weeks, the tracking information had not changed from "shipping label created". I called Purolator and they informed me that this was because DSW never provided them with the package. I then called DSW and they told me they could "reship" the items, which didn't even make sense because the items had never been shipped in the first place. A week later, I had received no updates from DSW and the tracking information on Purolator remained at "shipping label created". I contacted DSW and again they told they could "reship" the items. At this point I was frustrated and asked for a refund. I haven't heard anything back on the refund after several days. Total scam. Don't waste your money.

This is my 2nd & last time dealing with DSW Canada. I am currently being harassed via email because I want to return a pair of shoes because the soles are made of plastic which makes them uncomfortable & look cheap. I have never seen a designer shoe with a plastic sole. Stop harassing me via email trying to get me to keep your plastic shoes. Just accept the fact I'm not happy with my purchase & want to return & refund. I'm even returning it to the store on my own & they keep sending me harassing emails. I don't want your plastic shoes. Get over it & you just lost a customer.

DSW Canada is very unprofessional I wish I had have looked into this company more before making a purchase as their rating on Trust Pilot is also very low. I have never had such a horrible online shopping experience as I am currently having with DSW Canada because I want to make a return.

Be very cautious about ordering online. DSW shipped me the wrong size shoe and told me my option was to return it at my own expense. They would not offer an exchange or any other assistance.

Tip for consumers:
That they would not acknowledge and correct their error.

I ordered shoes on July 21st 2015. To-day is August 12th & I have not received them. They were quick to charge my credit card the next day. Had to call customer service four times. The first two customer service reps never got back to me; third one sent me an email explaining the problem and offered an additional discount. I replied to her email, but never got an answer. I telephoned for the fourth time on August 11th. The rep offered the same discount and said the order would arrive in about one week.

I'm disappointed with the service from DSW Canada. This is the second time I bought a specific brand shoe for my kids with similar issues. Last year they were beyond helpful in fixing the issue. This year, with a new pair of shoes I bought in May, the situation is completely different. I started contacting in July and I am still getting a run around. The shoes seam is coming apart, I have provided pictures, there is no store in my area, and they want me to send the pair back so they can assess during a pandemic and my child is supposed to wear what? I will never buy shoes from here again. There are better quality shoes out there with fewer bs.

I live rurally and ordered a pair of shoes that didn't fit. I live 1.5 hours from the nearest store so I had to pay for return shipping and it cost $27 for a pair of $60 shoes that weighed less than a pound. I talked with customer service about how mad I was that shipping was half the cost of the shoes and they gave no sh*ts and told me "drive to your nearest store to receive a full refund" completely being ignorant of where I lived and the time/ gas it takes. They wouldn't understand that buying shoes online is hard and having to pay so much for a return is ridiculous.
I have done lots of online shopping and for a company to not pay return shipping is completely greedy and disrespectful of their shopping clients.

I will NEVER shop with this company again-- they don't care about their customers and make it clear that there is zero incentive to keep a customer happy.

avoid online shopping if there is a chance of returning

Of all the web surfing I've done over the years, DSW & SHOE COMPANY has the absolute worst site EVER.
PLEASE FIX IT.

Be careful if you order on line. If shoes don't fit, You need to pay purolator or Canada post to return $100 to $150 from Quebec. Service is 0% beside DSW USA: 150%

I purchased keen sandals for my son middle of April or May of last year. They came in and did not fit so we followed the steps and mailed them back with all of the information that was given to us including the address we were to mail it too. After many months and lots of correspondence I still have no refund and NO SHOES. I have emails where they state I would be given a refund after months of hearing that they have not received the shoes back. Right after the email I was sent stating I would FINALLY get a refund, I was then sent another email saying I would have to contact the courier myself and figure it out. After many years of supporting this company the thanks I got was a great big old screw you and they got $90 of my money and their product back. Shame on you DSW for giving people the run around instead of honoring your end of the deal by refunding me my money so I could buy my son some good shoes. As I said, I have an email stating I would get the refund and then your company backed out right after instead of doing the right thing. Beware of ordering anything from this company. God forbid you have to mail it back to them.

I bought a pai of boots and they were the wrong colour, so I called and easily changed my order. The pair of boots that I wanted was $5 more. The customer service lady was so nice and corrected my order before they shipped, as well, they didn't charge me the extra $5 for the boots I should have ordered. My boots arrived in 7 days, so it was a pretty quick delivery.
I had a great experience and I will definitely be shopping Shoeme again!

Unfortunately DSW gets a very bad rating from me. I ordered an Aldo brand purse Online from them because I want to support Canadian brands and DSW was the only place in Canada that still had this purse in stock.
The transaction went smoothly but when I received the purse, the crossbody strap wasn't in the shipping bag for the Legelith bag.
DSW agreed to send me another purse. BUT I asked if they could only the strap in the mail since the bag was ok. They said no. I asked if they could send me the replacement bag before receiving the old one since the stock was almost depleted on the model. They said no.
So they said they would send me the Purolator return label in 1-2 days so I can return the purse prepaid. I followed up after 3 working days and because of Covid slowdowns, I didn't get it until a week and a half after notifying them of their error.
So I sent the purse back to DSW and emailed them when the package showed it had been picked up.
DSW still didn't send me out the replacement bag and then WHEN they received the defective item, they emailed me that they had no more stock and they had to refund me.
They were advised at the beginning that the stock was low and they did NOTHING to support the customer.
They didn't pay attention to any of the details I gave them and for that
I will never buy from DSW again.

I bought a pair of shoes and they sent the wrong size. The website no longer works, no phone number on internet, receipt or the original invoice number works i have emailed, called, facebook on my page and theirs, tweeted on my page and theirs and no answer anywhere so I have disputed the charge. Cant say anything good about this experience.

No problem with me, the good sandals were delivered in 8 days. They were the exact same model (Pikolinos Tariffa Fischerman) that the ones I love and bought in Positano in Italy 2 years ago. Fit perfectly, different color, 41 M. Otherwise, I would have prefered to try the shoes before buing them in internet.

I have been a customer of Shoeme for close to 2 years now and in that period of time have ordered, exchanged, returned and kept numerous pairs of shoes. There is NEVER any problem returning an item that is unsatisfactory for an reason and even return shipping is free. They carry enough shoe brands that everyone should be able to find something that works for them. Customer service is awesome - the girls I have spoken with are always polite and go the extra mile to be helpful. Keep up the good work Shoeme and I'll be a faithful customer!

I love to shop online and at this point in time most major sites are excellent to deal with - this one is not. I placed my order and it has been almost a month and I have yet to see it. Their site is not well thought out in terms of customer usability. Their customer service is rude and dismissive.

I realize that not every experience with a company will be perfect but when you have numerous negative experiences based on one transaction --- that means stay away in the future in my book!

I was given a 10$ gift card on the street once I read the small print it said to be used if spending more than 80$ and can't be combined with any other offers! Worse was once I was on Web page they have a summer 30 sale 30% off everything with exceptions apply! Again once I read small print basically every pair I wanted ended up being part of the exception brutal! The Birkenstock shoes were already over priced! What a scam! Don't bother wasting time on this site!

After ordering a pair of boots from them, they fell apart within 4 months of having them. I contacted customer service to see what could be done, and all they said was sorry, they have no warranty, hope we can do business again soon. Um no. A company that does not stand behind their product is not a company I wish to do business with. 4 MONTHS and the boots I ordered are completely unwearable. That is nonsense. They don't even seem to have an option on their website for customers to review the products so I can warn others of the poor quality of the item I purchased. It's unacceptable.

They also sent the wrong colour as well, but I didn't say anything about it, because I didn't mind the colour.

I ordered a pair of slippers, which their website said was in stock. Four days later, I got an e-mail saying that the slippers were in fact out of stock, would I like to order another pair instead. So I called in to customer service and they took my order for another style over the phone, after they confirmed that the new style was in stock. Three days later, I got another e-mail saying that the second pair was also out of stock! Unbelievable. I canceled my order because I don't have time to play this guessing game when I shop.

Shoes ordered after a long time scoping them out. Price jumped recently only on some models - of course including the one I needed. Never a sale on them - always on an exclusion list. Nice.
No other option to buy the size I need, so I give in and order. Processing very slow - almost two weeks before shipping. Then Purolator "safe drops" them leaving a notice right on the door telling anyone where to find them - and, the shoes sent are the wrong size.
Contact Shoeme, they initiate an exchange before I ask them to - I had asked how long an exchange would take, not to just go ahead with it. No resolution on the price jump or the very unsafe door drop.
I ship the wrong shoes back - that part seems to go ok.
Exchange tracking notice said that exchange was delivered yesterday, again, door dropped, despite my concern - but no notice on my door, no sign of box - just footprints leading to the same spot the first box was left. Sure looks like the exchange box was stolen, not exactly a surprise.
Ticket now open with Purolator, call to Shoeme as well. Now I'm being sent yet another pair... and am getting really suspicious about the authenticity of their stock. So, looks like I have to leave a placard on my door for Purolator about not abandoning my stuff to the universe if I'm not home and try to verify authenticity of what eventually comes, or, try to extricate my money from this mess. Very disappointing.

They don't mention it on the site, but any order could be subject to 10-13 business days processing before being shipped

They have a poor inventory management system, the website is very misleading. You buy a pair of shoes, get an email saying you will receive a confirmation email when the product is shipped. You NEVER get that email... weeks go by then YOU have to contact them to inquire about what the holdup is. THEY apologize and give you an extra 5% off and refund your money which takes another week!
$#*! service, although when you are pissed they are quite responsive and apologetic. I'd rather spend $$ on import taxes and duty at www.heels.com and know I am getting what I ordered!

I purchased a pair off shoes at the end of October, received the shoes ok but ever since I keep receiving these e-mail from shoeme, pop ups.
The hoes are china quality it says it all CHINA cheap!
