First time using a freight forwarder to ship a package from US to Australia. The website was relatively easy to use, I could track my package and make payment with no fuss as the website was user friendly. They were very quick to ship out my package after I made payment for shipping on the same day it arrived. Was a bit hesitant at first due to reviews I read online but in my experience, they have been excellent and am glad to go with them over the other competitors. Rates were also good as I expected double of what I had to pay in the end.
Predatory fees everywhere. $5+ for a thin layer of bubble wrap on your products which don't offer much protection. Ridiculously expensive "consolidation" fees just for them to throw 3 of your items into a box. I recently paid $20 for 3 small items to be "consolidated." Horrible service. I had a missing package for over a week. Turns out they added it to a different customers stuff! All services are WAY more expensive unless you subscribe to their membership, something that isn't clear until after you start consolidating and processing your packages. Watch out. Shipping rates aren't even that good. Look elsewhere for a more reputable company.
The services are great and professional, but the prices are very high.

I doubted it at first since it was my first time using shipito and ive also read a lot of mixed reviews on sitejabber! I was so concerned i sent my package with insurance just so that if it didn't reach me, i could issue a claim. But all-in-all, im satisfied with shipito.
Hopefully i don't run into problems when i choose to use shipito again.

Pretty good service I´ve shipped several times, sometimes they take a little bit long to ship but I haven´t had any major issues.
My first experience with shipito was absolutely positive. Consolidated a few packages and added some wrapping paper and I'm pretty sure that I saved some money with the first shipment even though I paid for a Membership for one year...
Only two issues rectified quickly in all the years. So not believe any super bad review. Definitely a professional company and not scammers.

Shipito has been my favorite forwarding mail service, however lately the service been slightly trended down from packaging quality to the charge of shipping and the speed of processing but it remains on top of competitors at least for me.

Overall, it's a great experience but there's always 1 or 2 items where shipito forgot to remove the price tags from. I paid extra for removing the price tag but seems like it's still a problem.

I have had positive and negative experience. Positive - most of my parcels have reached me.
Negative - 2 parcels out of 20 got lost. Last parcel took quite long, and after being stuck at customs, after lengthy communications with local post service which provided me with a wrong tracking link, I have finally received it.
The Shipito Service is very nice in all the ways, the only thing hurts is the per box handling and Consolidation fee. There should a decrease on that or it should a collective fee instead to taking it per box, as sometimes a box is not even worth of 5$ but fee is 5$ on it.
I have read the many reviews and I would agree with some and also note that some are too harsh. The main thing I want to communicate is that we all are human and we all make mistakes. I have been with Shipito since 2013 and I have had my share of issues -- but few -- and luckily they have been resolved. On most occasions my packages are sent quick and fast, the service has been on time and polite -- sure you might get an occasional on line rep or person by email that is a little sassy -- but that's life. Regardless of the potential issues that could arise I would recommend shipito over and over. I am a US citizen living abroad in Saudi and I know many others that have used other freight forwarding companies and they are either too expensive or their packages are delayed and even lost -- the providers aren't many and the ones they have aren't the best -- Shipito offers many options, on time service (at least 99%) and good customer service at 95% minimum -- so don't let the bad reviews here stop you -- use shipto. I am not paid for this -- I am just an honest customer with a realistic view.

Usei como opção de envio o Air economy e recebi a encomenda na minha casa (Brasil) em 53 dias. Só é ruim o fato de não ser rastreado fora dos USA.

I have been using shipto over a year now, they are pretty good. Didn't have any loss or missing parcel coming from the US to Australia, however it would be great if the shipping prices get little bit cheaper. I have to say as well their customer service staff are very friendly and helpful. Keep it up guys.

Made account and had Some questions, opened livechat and they helped me outstanding, only SMALL hassle was the account verification, but again the livechat helped me (Livechat 24/7 open)

After writing my initial review in regards to Shipito, I was contacted directly by them. The person who contacted me apologised for my frustration, and in the short term, has come up with a very workable solution. I believe she could see that the processing and consolidation rates are making the overall cost higher than competitors, and to their CREDIT, they are DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
In her words "(Shipito) is currently in the process of reviewing all of our fees and pricing in the hopes of streamlining and simplifying things for our customers as well as putting together a program specifically designed for our high-volume customers".
I stand by my initial review, in that the processing and consolidation fees are currently too high, but I retract the statement where they don't care. It's possible the person on the chat didn't care that day, but Shipito management does.
SO... if you're interested in them, I can 100% vouch for their reliability and service, they do a great job, and I have been happy with them for years on that front. If they can get the fee structure to be competitive with the industry, they'll continue to grow, as their shipping prices are actually CHEAPER then similar competitors.

MY INITIAL REVIEW (please read the update after): I've been a customer with Shiptio since 2014. I just shipped a package using Shipito, and paid $5 per item in processing and consolidation fees. Just to put it into perspective, I consolidated 24 packages, many of them a single book, into one package, and paid $120 in processing and consolidation fees. Then, as they are books, I've then been charged an "oversize" fee of $10. So all up, I'm paying only about $350 for my merchandise, and almost $450 in shipping. The fees just aren't simply worth it.
I just checked on MyUs.com site, and could have the same package shipped for $251.95... saving me $189.81 in charges. I then contacted Shipito using their chat to see if they could look at reducing some of the fees (they used to be $2 per package)... and the chat person told me she had no way of doing so. I told her it simply isn't viable, and that I would be looking elsewhere, and she responded with "okay".
Shipito used to be fantastic, and financially viable, and the fees were okay. Now, you can add $5 to the cost of any package, no matter it's contents or size, and that's before you even get nailed with shipping costs.

Look at other shipping sites before using this one, as it looks lower to begin with due to their annual fee of $50, but they more than make it up in processing and consolidation fees!
Kindly update local post office tracking in site automatically once courier was submitted to local post office by Air Mail Economy shipping, which will help us not to get this information from customer support. Also provide AirMail Economy destination country local office contact to get any information from them.
It's not the first time I send some parcels via shipito, and I had no problem for the moment. The service is efficient and easy to use. I only think that they could offer some cheaper solutions.

I find Shipito an excellent service. On this occasion, however, there was a problem in following the additional shipping requests that were, in fact, critical for having sufficient insurance against content damage and delivery issues. I requested photos of contents, and additional insurance. However although I was billed for the extra services, Shipito ommited to take content photos. Fortunately the parcel arrived safely, and Shipito refunded the cost of additional photos. But this could have been a costly error, if it had invalidated the freight insurance.
Very practical and functional. For those who live outside the USA, it is very safe and fast.

Since now I was served by BundleBox which is too expensive now. With Shipito I have and average save of 25% for express service to Europe with DHL. This is pretty nice.
We'll see if they are able to maintain those cheap fares in the future.
To improve the servie, honestly they should pay attention to offer also Air Mail at a reasonable price.

I have always been very well treated and my packages are quickly dispatched. The only complaint I have is that often at the time to purchase a sending method, FedEx shows as available and actually this option does not post to my postal code. So I don't have the option to send multiple paclages at a time, as USPS does not offer this option.
