They took my money for my order mind you it was all my Christmas gifts then my packages have never arrived I call and they keep moving the date out 3 times they did this then I'm told my order won't be sent and they're not sure how I'll receive my money back so basically I have no Christmas gifts for anyone thanks to seventh avenue!

The diamond hoops are fake they want me to pay to pay 100$ for not happening... then I call and asked was tit real she never answered my questions
Returned a fountain, didn't work right. Ordered a fireplace, was a 4 month wait so had option to cancel, I did. Then decided to buy fold out chair bed. They wanted half down because still had fountain on my statement but blames it on my credit, which is very good. Cancelled everything, planned to buy a few things, oh well… their loss.

I have purchased some somewhat nice bedspreads and comforters. However everything I've received is made in China. EVERYTHING. To be honest I only do business with them because I want to attempt to establish some credit because my score has taken some pretty heavy blows.
Tip for consumers:
Prices are inflated for cheap Chinese merchandise. Slow and very expensive shipping. A lot of tacky and tasteless merchandise.
Good way to establish credit.

Buyer beware. Cheap products. Screen discoloring and falling apart. Paid over $120 for a fireplace screen and the paint was sloppy, wing section's fall off, design is already starting g to discolor.
I bought from 7th Avenue for years, I knew that I could easily buy particular items several times over a period of time. They sold shoes that I like, and I rebought the same shoe 4 times. But it is so easy to buy other "stuff" that I ran up a $1700. 00 bill over the years, paying the minimum + $10-20 per month. Lots of their goods are craptastic, others are good to excellent. I decided to pay $1000. 00 toward my bill to reduce my payment, so I could more quickly pay it off. YOUR PAYMENT NEVER GOES DOWN below the rate for your highest balance. Since they keep increasing your credit limit, you might as well keep buying... at least, that is what it looks like their strategy is.
Other folk have had accounts opened at Seventh Avenue fraudulently. What usually happens is that their "group" of names that they own (Ginny's, Montgomery Ward, Swiss Chalet etc) send catalogues with pre-approved account codes in the catalogues tied to your credit information. A typical scammer gets your catalogue out of your mailbox or garbage and uses your information to buy gifts for another address. You never know until they begin to harrass you for payment for goods you never ordered from a company you may never have heard of. Needless to say, their customer service will not be helpfull.
