Had experience with SendinBlue. Actually, everything is great except that moment when you have to add the list of recipients. Cause it is after the design of your email, which is not useful. Also, I faced one problem and Support Team helped me within some hours, thanks!
It seems if you're a larger company that has a lot of referrals no matter what you do they won't approve your list for emails. They are slow getting back with you they have no customer service that answers the phone. Everything is done it looks to be overseas their English is very poor. I certainly won't recommend this go to AMS. We have collected all of our emails off of our sites and all of our sites have a box to check to give us the right to use it that wasn't good enough for them

I ended up just staying with AMS where I was at
It is a terrible mailing service. Do not be deceived by the comments and pay. I paid, I loaded money to send mail. Then my account was banned for no reason. There was an article saying we want to talk to you or something, I said ok, I sent an e-mail, no response for 20 hours. They both close my account for which I paid and do not return to my e-mails. Do not pay here. I don't know if I can't call it scammers, but I'm pretty sure it sucks.
Tip for consumers:
They never, ever have special services for their customers. When you encounter a problem or your account is suspended, no one returns to you. You send an e-mail to find out the reason, there is no response. Never use it.

I have been setting up a trial account to check their service and potentially moving from MailChimp to them.
1st they have been asking me all sort of questions from my mailing list (which was not even uploaded on the site) questions were
- How did these contacts give their explicit consent to be used as recipients for your email campaigns?
- Have you had any sort of communication with these contacts within the past two years?
- What is the link to your subscription form?
- How many contacts do you plan to email through Sendinblue?
After 2 days and many back and forth answering their queries They have denied my account trial.
My email list was collected thru fair and store visit with obviously years of CRM and cleaning the list religiously (which I told them), they decided to not activate my account
They are a waste of time to deal with!
Will not recommend it at all!
Don't even try to set up a trial account as you won't even be able to send a test email for yourself and check the automation system.
I would leave a negative star if I could!

They steal the contacts you import and sell them, and they take your money and don't refund i have caught them red-handed.
Working for a small not-for-profit, we were looking for an affordable alternative to MailChimp that would allow us to send out monthly emails to our networks. I started a campaign with SendinBlue and sent a test email to myself. I forwarded the test email to my manager who then took over the process and tested some of the links herself. As a result of this, our account was blocked due to "suspicious activity."
I contacted customer service and was told that they could not unblock the account because apparently, no recipient of a SendinBlue email is allowed to forward emails to others. Based on our email exchange, my understanding is that if one of our contacts forwarded an email received from our SendinBlue campaign - let's say they found it interesting and wanted to share with a colleague - then that would also be flagged and cause our account to be blocked.
Here's what they wrote: " for your subscribers to forward newsletters at their leisure to their contacts would be a violation of our opt-in policy, as those contacts did not opt-in through you directly: https://help.sendinblue.com/hc/en-us/articles/*******-Are-my-contacts-opt-in-"
After all this wasted time, I'll just stick with MailChimp.
Tip for consumers:
Don't do it.
I know they are working hard to make nice reviews here and there by doing it by themselves!
They are cheap, and they are CHEAP.
The support is rude, they are pretending that they are in US but when you try to call, it will not work if you are outside of US and they will ask you to pay for phone support: and it is NOT witten nowhere on their website.
They look good by the look at first but their SMTP is really weak and cheap: They can't even accept validated email lists because of the risk their cheap server can't handle.
They will terminate your account if they don't like you.
They will argue with you to win against their client to be right: unbelievable.
Emil delivery is no good.
Their price is a 'fishing' because after some time, you will realize that you will have to pay much more money that it's better you stay with Mailchimp or Campainmonitor etc
Stay away at all cost. Unless you don't mind to spend time & energy and then oneway they will terminate your account without any explanations nor notifications.
All the problems will be only on you as they don't care.
Good luck if you decided to go with this BLUE..
Regardless of the tier, they constantly block or accusatively suggest your emails addresses are complaints. Impossible since they are handwritten by customers! Impossible to resolve issues via email, 2-3 day waits, some never responded, and and rarely useful scripted responses when they do bother replying.
Avoid or you will be chasing them for days to send simple emails rather than working on your business.
