I opened account 4 months ago sold more them $1000 did not get a penny from them first of all they have so much charges and refund to customers. And accused me of selling inauthentic items and deactivate my account have been sending the original invoice they are keep saying these are not enough proof repatting the same over and over and holding my money. I have been trying to contact there is no way to contact which is crazy I regret wasting my money and time. I wish everyone could get together and sue that stupid company.

I can't access the portal because they used a number to authenticate that I haven't had in ten years. I tried to remove myself but there is no way to contact them except in the portal. They are horrible and for four months I have tried unsuccessfully to get out of the charges and the plan. I haven't been able to sell or post even one item and I've been charged five times.

Worst Selling Venue

Amazon is by far the worst of all selling venues available and somehow it manages to get more abysmal almost every single day. There is no end to the maniacal bots deactivating listings for nonsensical reasons. The seller central interface is appalling and seller support so inept and banal that it may as well be nonexistent.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

DO NOT TRY AMAZON IF YOUR INDIVIDUAL SELLER!
They make it so hard to sell items, and needs approval request for each one, and even if you show them the proof of purchase they be like no, provide us the invoice from the retailer, WHICH IS EXTREMELY HARD TO GET!
They even charge your account if you are not making any sells, FIRST OF ALL, they are the one not letting me sell the products, Second, THEY NEED TO CHANGE THEIR POLICY!
I understand every company has their own policies but this policy is not acceptable at all! They ask for your personal documents and if they have those and can provide the proof of purchase, there shouldn't be anything else they need to ask.
I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS TO COLLEGE STUDENTS! THEY WILL LEAVE YOU BROKE!
YOU CAN'T EVEN MAKE PROFIT, if you use their FBA for shipping. AND the customer service is even worst, they won't help at all!

Amazon is a predatory company, and should be much more closely regulated and/or sellers should unionize and/or do class-action lawsuit and/or competitor should seize upon Amazon.
-Sellers are forced to bear all costs, no matter what, including paying Amazon for orders that were eventually returned.
-Amazon collects all taxes from customers, but reports all sales as total transaction value, including various taxes, and does not give sellers clean information regarding Amazon's fees.
-Buyers can return perfectly good items at the seller's cost if they lie and say the item was "damaged" or there was "misleading advertising".
-Chinese sellers WILL copy a product, and even almost verbatim copy your add. Unless you have a patent/copyright protecting your item AND are willing to pony up the time/money to fight the copycat, China and Amazon WILL cut you out of your own invention or product improvement.

All in all, it sucks. Most Amazon sellers go out of business but you don't hear about it, because new idiots think they can make it so they give it a try and then sell their goods at a LOSS... hence why prices stay low on Amazon, and the buyers/customers and Amazon makes money and Amazon stays in business, but sellers lose lose lose. Be very careful about thinking you will make money selling on Amazon. I think eventually this will be basically a Chinese-seller platform, and/or specialty (un-copyable) item platform.

I have been selling on Amazon for many years... There is no problem when customer accepts a product. However if customer returns a product(which happens very often), amazon will either not return it or return it damaged. If you ask for refunds or claims, they will cite some illogical explanation and deny any compensation. If you want to lose your hard earned money, go ahead and sell on Amazon.

Amazon will HOLD you money (for 3 months) and will just TAKE at the end, charging you extra fees and penalties. AMAZON will REFUND every single customer automatically for you even though the parcel is almost delivering... FREE gift for everyone plus charge you with A-Z claims, which you will have to deal with (better haver a lawyer) and your funds will be on hold for months... all of this just for a single order that is late a day or two due to Canada Post... they are an other big problem... Canada Post will always deliver you product late... especially if its an international shipment

I DO NOT RECOMMEND selling on AMAZON for lots of other reasons as well... they cut of your business anytime... you are NOT a business owner if you sell on Amazon... will never be one. They control your business not you...

I set up an Amazon seller account, The first hurdle was that in the sign up process it defaulted to a Professional account when I wanted an Individual account and charged me around $56 AUD for the unwanted privilege. This took approximately one month to be re-imbursed. Then after having the account open for about 6 weeks without any activity at all I got charged a Professional sellers fee for an Amazon UK marketplace of approximately $50 AUD. As I cannot afford these un-authorised fees not to mention the amount of running around time to sort this out I closed my account instantaneously so there were no more charges... Now I cannot get a refund as Amazon are not replying ot my emails as presumably I have no seller account anymore... So an account with I did absolutely nothing on charged my over $100 AUD, $50 of which I have still not got back for absolutely nothing... No wonder Jeff Bezos is so wealthy...

I think I have written 2 bad reviews in my life. Amazon customer service for consumers is undoubtably the best -but for sellers, it the most useless non stop communication of pre-written responses, no explanations and absolutely no help at all. It doesn't matter how many times you email and explain your problem, it is clear no-one read my message and responds with most generic thing they have in their toolbox of responses. I know they don't care as they are a multi billion corporation but I just want to go on record to say I have never felt so insulted as I have as an Amazon seller. Amazon should be ashamed. Disgusting.

An order fulfilled Amazon got missing, only to be told by an incompetent seller support representative that they can investigate an order that was paid for by the seller. Seller support is mostly useless as they do not even respond to some of your complaints at all, even very critical ones. For a platform that cares so much about customer satisfaction, it's clear that sellers are not held in the same regard.

Very expensive to any other fulfilment service, we thought it could be worth it as you products are then listen on Amazon Prime. If I could go back I would never apply for amazon Fba. Their amazon seller central is awful, very complicated to use compared to other platforms. They made errors charging the fees, when asked for refunds they would take ages to respond. Once they would agree to refund us we would still not receive the money and have to chase another 2-3 times, having to explain the whole situation again. Customer service knows less than you do, all they tell you is to look on their frequently asked questions or just copy paste stuff written on their manual. Most of them do not speak proper english on the phone, which makes it hard to have a conversation. If you are thinking of selling your products on amazon try to organise the fulfilment through other channels! This will save you money and time wasted.

I ordered my hair color from BeautyLuxx. It was supposed to arrive the end of November. It was delayed a couple of times and I was told that if I didn't receive it by December 9th that I should ask for a refund. When I contacted the seller they said it was now being sent through USPS and I should be receiving it. I have not received it so I requested a refund. I have not received a refund or my product. I will never order from them again.

Amazon experience has been horrible from the start. We manufacture our own products under our own name, We have a trademark on our name, Amazon suspended by account because another retailer whom Amazon wouldnt give us the information to claims to be the owner of our company and claimed fruad against us so they wouldnt have any competition so amazon suspended our account for nearly 6 months while the useless seller support evaulated the information slowly, mean while you bet they still charged me $39.99 a month if I wanted to keep my account active while it was suspended. Finally got that cleared up, Had tons of problems with them over 2 years, One day we came in and all our items were no longer active, For 2 months tried to find out why, I got tons of random answers from Amazon staff guessing and pulling at straws, Its now been about a year since they suspended my account, To this day with out a clear reason, I had no A to Z claims in the last year of selling, Had one negative feedback out of over 1000 feedback, Selling metrics all in the green. Amazon seller support is a joke, they cant help with anything over the phone leaving me to email another department of amazon in which they answer back about once every 2 weeks with a generic copy and pasted response. Selling on Amazon will leave you with less profits, and more headaches. Funny thing, Found that Amazon is now selling my products direct, Tried calling and asking where they are getting my products from, not to mention they are selling them at a discount, Devaluing our brand and our products.

Disappointing!

I've been selling with Amazon for about 4 months and had issues from the very start. In the beginning I had issues setting up my account, then sending inventory as their rules changed and now with listing, feedback and customer service. Ii's been an absolute nightmare dealing with their customer service teams. First of all it's nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone, and when you do, it's nearly impossible to understand them. English is my third language and I'm very understanding and patient. However, it is unprofessional and ridiculous that a company this size can't hire people that speak fluent English. I have multiple issues I never got resolved and that are still open and pending today. I email and call weekly only to be told by another robot employee that I need to send another email. Would not recommend selling on Amazon. Stick to Etsy, Shopify or other platforms. An absolute nightmare from the very start, stay away,

Scam!

So I was trying to register Amazon account for 6 month. They took 40 USD charge and the activation of account never happened. I submitted all the document, company registration, etc but just getting same autoresponce about that they dont have enought documents. And I coudnt close account either because you need to have an active account to close it. I think those people just making tons of money like this. Just charging everyone who ever wants to sell there 40 USD and then never giving them a chance and never refund their money.

Deeply and truly awful

Selling on Amazon is an absolute nightmare. They tell you what your lead time is. They have zero customer service and when you do finally get replies the answer is always automated and never addresses your issue. Customers constantly get items for free due to auto-cancellations even in the middle of shipping to the customer. I have never experienced a more corrupt and shady platform. Amazon is the picture of what is wrong with corporations.

Registered for seller account but end up going for professional which cost 39.99$
A service you could not use because your account is deactivated and would require further additional documents requirements. You could not contact customer service since your account is deactivated. So that's a money donation for a rich greedy company right there.

I canceled the professional account on 10/3/2020 and was charged 11/26/2020 for having a professional account. I have sent multiple messages and sent the email showing I canceled and they just keep replying with the same blanket message that doesn't explain why I am being charged.

I've had multiple issues and only been on a month. I sell on eBay, Etsy and other marketplaces with no issues but Amazon tops it as the worst ever. The customers lie and Amazon believe them instantly due to A-Z claims. They don't help you at all, the fees are extortionate 15% and monthly fees as well. For the amount you pay you would think you get half decent support but their support is terrible. STAY AWAY.

Nightmare

I tried to signup for an individual seller account. I was signed up immediately to Amazon EU and Amazon JP my account was debited 3 different times. When contacting Amazon JP they said I had no account, the same with EU. The EU sent me an email saying my account was not setup and I was not charged. But my back account says different. I contacted my bank and disputed this. Think about how many millions of people this is happening to. All the commoners are trying so sell on the billionaire's platform. The poor man pays fees, makes little to no money, while the billionaire riding off into the sunset with our fee money. I am filing a complaint with my attorney general's office in my state!
