While purchasing tickets for Cabaret on Broadway, I accidentally purchased tics for the wrong date (had 2 windows open!). I immediately realized my mistake, found a customer service phone number and called. I explained what happened to 'Kate', and was told that it may be possible to exchange tickets for the date I actually wanted. About 4 hours later I received a call back with a confirmation that the exchange had gone through and that my new tics were available on the app. I know that SeatGeek policy is that all purchases are final, but because these tics were a few months out they were able to assist. I appreciated the customer service.
Bought tickets minutes into a presale. Quickly realized tickets in my confirmation email were not the ones I had initially selected. So bought others as quick as possible. Then called my Bank to get phone number *******335 for SeatGeek as you can't find it on their site. Talked to customer service within hour after purchase and later received email that refund was denied. So instead of fighting with them I sold tickets, which they charged another $50 for. Now I find out my money will be delivered after event in 6 months. I have used SeatGeek in past without issue on purchase. Sad to say I'm no longer a SeatGeek fan.
Nothing on the SeatGeek site indicated that I'd need Google Wallet to download the tickets. I have an iPhone 6, which can't update to iOS 14 which is required to download Google Wallet app. Downloaded the Google Wallet app to Galaxy tablet, which will now have to accompany me to the game. :(
Purchase tickets and not only was the tickets very difficult and long to purchase but the price was very misleading. The purchase price was $530 and once payment was submitted the total came to $808. $200+ in service fees and $60+ in taxes. No warning at an expensive price to pay. More than half of original price.

Sucks when they have you over a barrel to do what you want. There should be a base fee and not have it on a sliding scale depending on the price of the ticket. Outrageous but necessary at times.
Purchased a parking pass for the US Open. Website shows 30 minute delivery, received the pass 12 hours later - after the tournament round for the day was over. No way to contact them either (or at least not obvious to me) to work a solution. SeatGeek did respond to me a couple of days later and refunded the purchase - which was great, but really needed the tickets. Anyway - Understand things happen.

It happen to me that I have to contstantly refresh the page because tickets weren't able anymore becuase people already purchased them, the website was really slow at updating ticket availablity which end up on a frustrating shooping experience.
Hi Jose,
Apologies for the initial confusion with the ticketing process! Seems that you were purchasing tickets for a pretty popular event. We're an online marketplace, so tons of orders go through at the same time. As a marketplace, we rely on sellers for certain inventory. Sellers get tons of orders throughout the day and it does take sometime for their inventory to update via the site. If an order went through earlier than yours, this could've been why the tickets weren't available. Truly sorry for any confusion there.
If you have anymore questions, please feel free to reach out to hi@seatgeek.com.

Sad that you exploit multi days events. Can't buy two different days in one transaction. Extra $50 in ticket fees.
Hi Brennan,
Thank you for reaching out. Truly sorry for any initial confusion with the ticketing purchasing process. Kindly note, here at SeatGeek we're a marketplace, so there are many sellers/partners who seller through our site. It looks like you may have purchased two different tickets from two different sellers. Again, sorry for any confusion.
However, in regards to the fees we alway make sure that they're the industry norm. Ticketing fees are included in all ticket prices across the industry. Some companies include the pricing in their price without showing it upfront. Here at SeatGeek, we pride ourselves with being super transparent, which is why we have the option on the order page to look at prices with or without fees.
Again, apologies for any initial confusion. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to reach out to us at hi@seatgeek.com and we'll surely take care of you.

So the tickets to BNL were $108 on the site then I got to check out it said $144. Then the fees were added. So the price per ticket was more like $180. Felt a bit like bait and switch. I've used the site before and this not experience I had before. I quoted prices before I purchased, so I will be eating $120, because I quoted the incorrect price.

In the year that I have purchased extra tickets for both soccer, basketball and also Patti Smith tickets, I have neither been able to resell my tickets with refund, nor have I been granted the holiday discount that promoted the Patti Smith sale.

Hi Niels,
Thank you for taking the time to write in. I'm sorry to hear you haven't been successful with your resale listings so far. I definitely recommend checking the Deal Score assigned to your listing to help ensure your pricing is competitive to raise your chances of a sale.
In regards to the promo code, please feel free to reach out if you're having trouble applying a promo code on an eligible order--We'd be happy to help! You can email us at hi@seatgeek.com, or chat in through our platform.
One quick note - Most but not all of the tickets listed on SeatGeek are promo eligible. The easiest way to see which tickets are eligible is to filter by selecting "Promo Eligible Only” via the app or changing “All Ticket Types” to “Promo Eligible” on the web. This will show you listings where that discount can be applied. Before you hit confirm on your purchase, it’s a good idea to double check that the promo is applied to your order.
I hope that helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions--
Best wishes,
SeatGeek CX Team
Too much review. Only reason we used was Bc my son suggested. Then there's the fact u make me verify a million pictures just to PAY for cheap as high school tickets
Hi Charlie,
We fully understand that the verification process may be daunting, but we do have it there for a good reason. The main reason for this is to prevent bots or other intruders from pretending to be people they are not and create or use accounts of other people. This is a security measure to assure protection of these bots making mass accounts. The good news is that now that the account is made and verified you will not have to go through that process again!
Hope you have a great time at the game!

No insurance option. Price drop days before event with no reimbursement. I called and spoke to "Pol" regarding the issue and he gave me a bogus phone number for "someone" who could "help". Whatever.

The game was fun but $120 in fees is insane. 500+ bucks to take myself, my son and father to a game is repulsive. The fees were a huge turnoff. Will look for alternatives in the future

I got tickets to louder than life festival. It was advertised that I was buying an e ticket. They instead delivered a paper that I have to print out that says not a ticket for entry and I have to exchange it at the box office. I'm coming from 5 hours away and I don't feel secure that I will get in. I tried to get a refund so I could buy them on a secure site and I can only sell it for half the price. I really hope this works
Easy enough process but over twice as expensive as paying on the night
Would not use it again for parking
Hi Julie,
Thank you for reaching out. Truly sorry for any confusion with the pricing. Here at SeatGeek, we're an online marketplace and sellers do have the ability to set their tickets at their preferred price. However, we do make pricing suggestions based on the normal prices across the industry.
If you ever have anymore questions regarding ticket pricing via the marketplace, please reach out to us at hi@seatgeek.com and we'll surely take care of you.

Hefty fee charged to both seller and buyer; it tried to tell which ticket is more worthy, but it failed badly since it doesn't understand each stadium or concert hall. Overall, very bad.
I bought tickets on the mobile site. I opened them in my account, no barcode. It says you must add to Apple Wallet but has no button to do so. On a whim I download the app. Log in again. STILL I must add them to my Apple Wallet, but at least note there's a button. I do. I finally get them open and enter. What a terrible experience!
I did not get the tickets that I was promised. We stood outside Coors Field and was told that the original Seller would Not Release the Tickets that I had paid for Months In Advance! Your Rep did come up with other Tickets that were Cheaper than the Ones I had purchased. I have not received my Money Back. Is this the Way You Conduct Business. You stated that You preview and that ALL Sales are Confirmed! Yet You Allowed this Seller to Steal our Tickets and Sell them to another Buyer? So We were told that other Seats were available if that would be alright. Now We had Flown from SC to Denver for the Game only to find out the Seller would not release the original Seats Row 38 1&2 but Now after the Game has started We could get Row 30 5&6 which were in the Sun not under the Cover as the others were. Now Tell me Did You expect Us to MISS the Game because of the Screw-up by the Seller. There is also the difference in the Cost of the Tickets and SeatGeek said Oh You agreed on the other tickets Really What a BS statement. I did everything right and SeatGeek sided with the Seller Pityful!
I had a price of $52 each ticket and had the open window, trying to find code, and then site crashed or something but it would not go through so when I went back on the tickets were more $59 i think? And really high "fees". I was stuck since my child really wanted to go to this concert and I had promised them once I saw the original price. Not a huge difference, but really really annoying, and "unfair"
Hi Donna,
I'm sorry to hear that the price changed on your order. Due to our nature as a secondary ticket market, sometimes prices will fluctuate. As we are connecting buyers to sellers, those sellers will often update their listings either increasing or decreasing the prices as it gets closer to the event. As for the fees, we do our best to keep them lower or comparable to other ticket platforms. You can search for listings with fees included in the future, as that will make sure there are no surprises at checkout.
I had tickets to a concert and the concert was cancelled and rescheduled and they never notified me. That's bad business! I wanted a refund because i couldn't make the new date but they would not give a refund. Then I called the person that they actually got the tickets from and was told seat geek don't like giving refunds because they would lose to much money because they jack up the prices. Now I will buy directly from the person they bought the tickets from for a cheaper price plus he said he would of refunded me my money back for the cancelled show!
Purchased Bears tickets to be from Santa & then my family got COVID, so I knew we wouldn't make the game. Was very disappointed with support for many reasons. What looked like should have been an easy option of reposting my tickets on their site was not possible because they couldn't verify my bank account within two weeks. Why couldn't they put any sale funds back to the credit card I used to purchase the tickets originally?
Also frustrating, it was difficult to find online articles explaining how I could get the ticket bar code information to post the tickets on another site (Ticketmaster or Stubhub). After being on the phone for half hour, I finally got to a representative that could explain to me how to see the bar code values (had to click into each ticket one more time on their app).
Know that my getting COVID was not their fault, but didn't feel like much of a valued customer that there was nothing they could do for me except make it super difficult to repost the tickets on another vendor's site.
Tip for consumers:
Reselling them on SeatGeek will require extra time for them to verify your bank account.

Purchased 6 tickets to a Nats game three days prior to the event. The site says don't be surprised if you don't receive tickets until the day prior or even the day of the event. On the day of, still no tickets. Reached out to SeatGeek and learned the seller was now unable to fill the order. Literally learned this whole on the Metro headed to the game. While SeatGeek customer service was as helpful as they could be (refunded money AND provided a 20% supplemental compensation, the end result was traveling downtown to the game and NOT being able to actually go to the game (all other seat options were through the roof in cost). Will never again use this site…they don't actually control the tickets…simply a paid intermediary and can't guarantee delivery of what you purchase…miserable experience for our immediate family and extended family visiting from out of town.

Was not an easy to retrieve tickets. Ended up calling Sox's so they could text me the link to get tickets. If it is always this hard will use another site. Was a royal pain in the neck. Not sure why we were charged a service fee when you did not provide the service of sending us the ticket.
Hey There,
Sorry to hear you had troubles retrieving your tickets. We understand this can be a frustrating experience.
Starting this season the MLB has been requiring tickets to be delivered through the MLB Ballpark app. This means we have to send most tickets through that app. Which requires a number of steps from setting up an account with the team and setting up the app. Our team is always here to help with the process though!
You can reach us at 888.506.4101 or hi@seatgeek.com and we are happy to help!

SeatGeek is the Web's largest event ticket search engine. Discover events you love, search all ticket sites, see seat locations and get the best deals on tickets.
Hi Anthony,
Thanks for the feedback. We do understand that fees are the worst part of the ticket buying experience. While in most cases we try to keep our fees no more then 20%, due to our partnership with the NFL there are factors that can cause fees to end up higher then that. We do use the fees we get to improve our platform, employ our customer service team, and such.
While fees are not something we can remove, we do try to do things to at least keep our prices the best out there. One of these is price match. If you find the tickets cheaper on another service, we will give you a promo code for 110% of the difference. At least assuring we have the best price for you.
Warm Regards,
