Dpd has failed to deliver the item even though we were at home all the time. Please stop using DPD, they dont even bother to attempt to address. They are liars, dishonest and unproffesional firm, please check their reviews. I am a long time customer as well as using Scan products in my business but DPD is putting the Scan`s company reputation hugely down.

Laptop came with pre-existing fault, was fixed.
Laptop eventually broke down twice more due to same issue, infront of my eyes.
They refused to fix again blaming me despite the fault re-occuring multiple times.
Took advantage of me at a time when I was vulnerable and could not afford a replacement.

warranty is worthless, if you sniff an issue, return immediately.

Then It broke down again, in the same way, and i returned it again.
They fixed it again.
The third time it broke down, in the exact same way, they claimed it was water damage.
I was a poor student at the time, I'll never forget how cheated I felt.
Bought a monitor,when opened discovered it had cracked screen, looked like it had a very heavy weight ontop of it or had been dropped hard or banged hard, Scan said this didnt happen during transit so its my fault, i am now having to take this further a possibly to small claims court

I placed an order for a motherboard, processor and RAM. Since they had the option to finance it, I took them up on the offer. Financing has been approved. I paid a 100 GB deposit and waited patiently for the order. It was supposed to be implemented on March 27. (I submitted it on March 25). I took a day off from work so as not to miss the courier. All the equipment was to be installed in the computer that I will have on my business trip, which starts on Tuesday after Easter. I'm leaving for Easter and I'm going straight to a business trip. And the fun begins. On March 27, I receive an e-mail that they cannot locate the RAM. They managed to find the RAM, BUT IT IS OPEN AND WITHOUT THE ORIGINAL BOX (they dug something out from behind the cupboard in the store which fell there and no one wanted to pick it up) they offered to send me this garbage, without a box but with a guarantee. I refused, so they said they didn't care. As a goodwill gesture, they offered me free shipping, which was free anyway? Complete lack of responsibility, will to keep the customer. Thanks to the canceled application, I have to pay for the parts in cash because I am afraid to make another credit inquiry in such a short time. Thanks to scan co uk I know how not to serve customers and how not to solve problems. You will get used parts at the price of new ones, a broken credit history and a broken schedule. Do not buy in this store.

I bought a laser projector and it arrived super fast as advertised which was good as I needed it for work that Monday. However it was not a UK plug so could not use and suggests not a UK product. Called Scan who promised next day delivery of UK power cable but it's now Wednesday and still no cable. Very disappointing and have had to loan a projector and I'm considering driving to by a cable at my own expense, not what you expect when buying a £1700 projector.

Thank you for leaving us your feedback, we are sorry to learn that no UK power lead was received with your item. This has been raised internally with our purchasing team and warehouse manager to look into further.
We can see that following contact from yourself our returns team did arrange for a replacement plug to be sent out to you. Despite this we can see that a return was requested for the projector due to the likely fact the cable may not arrive in time for projects you were working on. We do understand some orders are more time critical than others, so can fully understand this decision.
Our team then received notification from yourself yesterday to advise that you would like to keep the projector should the cable arrive with you next day. Unfortunately as the return for the cable had already been arranged with the courier, we were unable to stop this.
We have however escalated your feedback to our returns manager, who will contact you directly today to discuss this further and work to get this resolved.
We do apologies again for any inconvenience or frustration that may have been caused.

Customer service/sales are polite but cant do anything as you have to talk to the build team, who don't pickup. Apparently only the build team are authorised to do anything? Wish I'd read the reviews. Order cancelled last week. They said everything was in stock when i ordered! Not impressed. Order is still in 'awaiting picking' state, so no idea when they intend refunding me! (Glad I paid with VISA)

In short: I bought for around £4000 of hardware. Motherboard (£500) had a problem with memory slots. Returned it under warranty, got further damaged in the transport organised by them. Their support claims it was damaged before I sent it back, implying I am a lier and a thief. * Update: after escalation, scan has repaired the damage from transport, but motherboard initial memory fault still persists. Returned and awaiting next step.

TROUBLESOME RETURN POLICY: you are liable for any damage during the return transport, despite SCAN organising it, so pack carefully.

Decided to reorder an item that DPD made a mess of previously but even given those circumstances, Scan manage to delay my delivery. Honestly, how bad does it get?
Ordered a laptop friday morning. Webside promised its arriving within 24hr. By the time i went through payment etc it became monday. Sunday i received email about delay of delivery. Called customer service monday morning and they said theres allocation issue (we all know what this is) and it will be with me tuesday. Of course hasnt arrived. Called customer service and been told exact same as a day before. So asked refund. Guess... Its 3 to 5 days.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I am still waiting for my computer to be returned after 8 weeks, yes 8 weeks, they ended up changing mb, graphics card and memory, they tried getting xmp to work, failed.
I suggested I don't Ned xmp, now on final stage, saying no access to bios and other errors.
I have never experienced such bull$#*! in my life, being an ex computer technician I can't believe the incompetence.
They are now on the edge of me refunding the whole lot, 3k.

Potential buyers beware. I was thinking Scan is a trusted shop because of their informative website and known cpu benchmarks. After consulting with Scan Audio over the email I order a 14 hundred pounds laptop two days before Black Friday. I have been promised 5 days shipping, I received two emails on the same day, one confirms my order and the second that it is dispatched with tracking number.
The tracking number didn't worked, I sent an email on Friday and Saturday asking for the right tracking. After not getting a respond, I used the chat on Monday. Sells told me they are apologies and apparently the package didn't sent but it will be sent today. I imagined this thing can happen because of black friday/cyber monday. The next day i asked on the chat if it sent, again they apologies and said it did not sent yet, they don't know why and promised it will be sent today. A day after same story, apologies it yet been sent and promises it will be sent today. I called them over the phone, talked with the sells manager, I told him i'm asking for tracking for 6 days now and wasted a lot of time on this, he promised it will be short out today and he will call me back but he didn't. Its been a week now, I cant get a tracking number. I never got a respond to my emails (over 5 days) I could have order it from somewhere else but now i missed all November sales and left with a bitter taste. Till this day I never received tracking number or proof it sent, any email or offer to help.

Brought an msi motherbroad witch was faulty when arrived, sent it back under rma and was told 3 to 5 days sent on the 5. 01. 21 they received it the following morning. 3 day later still no news rang them and told me still in warehouse waiting to be looked at. After was told they had not received it yet dpd delivered it. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. Was told will be over a week to get a replacement sent back Disgusted and angry.

Made an order with Scan UK on the 30th Jan 2023 as all but one item was in stock, but they were receiving stock the next day. I was given a estimated despatch date of 31st Jan and received an invoice saying they took payment. I then received an email stating one item was delayed so it would be the 28th Febuary.
I contacted Scan customer service to see if they could send the parts that were in stock but they just said they couldn't, but suggested they could remove the delayed item however I would lose my place in the queue. The queue that they failed to mention on their product page.
I thought I could wait a few weeks until I received another delayed notification saying 15th March. I contacted customer service again mentioning they have my money and I have nothing, is it just going to be delay after delay but again they reasured me and gave me excuses.
I asked them to remove the in stock items from my order so I could raise another order myself seeing as they couldn't do it, thus keeping my place in the queue for the delayed item. I ordered the parts and they came the next day, quick, fast and good service apart from the delivery driver leaving high value items on my door stop and not getting a signature as I was told would happen.
I then found out that I won't recieve my refund until the delayed order has been despatched and completed, meaning I have been charged twice while they keep my money on hold, and when contacting customer service I was told "its the way their system works". No explanation or apology, I have tried to be polite and respectful but after receiving another delayed order notification for 25th March I think its taking the mick and wish I never ordered from them in the 1st place and won't be recommending them.

If you are comparing ecommerce sites don't always go for the one that says they have stock or will be in stock soon. I wish I went with Overclockers instead as I have a good track record with them.

Ordered system parts 30 th Nov cost near £1000 I am a long serving business customer, so you think they look after you NO 10 Dec still nothing no emails unless it was me to follow up lie after lie, keep away from these con artists, canceled this order ask refund, funny takes 4 days to go back into account but took money same day, never in my life have I had such rubbish customer service they deserve to go bust never again will I use them, not even got any apologies, pathetic company scan you are.

As echoed below customer service is appalling, sent a motherboard back to them under warranty, as they instructed us to do so. Sent it insured delivery, they received the board mid December 20 finally got an Email from them after 10 + calls to their office NOT ANSWERED plus 11 Emails, advising us that the board had been bent by us and therefore the warranty was void. The board was not bent and we have successful signed for delivery of the item, I feel this has been 'made up' to get out of them having to be bothered to replace it. As I write this review I have asked their customer service people to give me a call to discuss. I would have more luck getting a call from the Queen.
Stay well clear and use the plethora of IT providers on the market who have a better review rating.
Dreadful company. Save yourself the hassle.

I wish I had read the reviews first as I wouldn't have used them. I have parted with £600 for a laptop and no one can tell me when I will receive my laptop. The dates on my tracking information are wrong and no one has bothered to get in touch with me. I have spoken o the company on a daily basis and no one seems to care that I have paid for a product that doesn't exist. I am now waiting to get my money back.

I have purchased computer parts nearly 2 weeks ago. Parcel is not even dispatched yet. All I get is lies and misleading information provided by Scam Computers employees. Unbelievably disrespectful people and company. According to Scam Computers employees my order has been upgraded to urgent on Monday (30.11.2020)... It was upgraded to urgent status again day or so later... Unfortunately its still not dispatched (03.12.2020). It is something to report to trading standards... They should be closed down.
I was also told by Scam Computers employee (same employee who has told me a week ago that my order is in the same building and it will be with me in two days, which was last Friday, week ago, same employee who has told me that my order has been flagged as urgent and will be dispatched asap, that was Monday, beginning of this week). She now says (Thursday), she doesn't know when it is going to be dispatched. What have you been smoking there at Scam Computers?

Everything about ordering from Scan is great until you actually expect to get the items you paid for on the day they were supposed to be delivered. Literally never happens.
Unfortunately this is the core basis of an online ordering company. Their stock management is a joke. They will sell you things as in stock with next day delivery and then email you casually to say your order has been delayed. Their customer service is impossible to get a hold of with hours of wait times both on the phone and on live chat.
Even when you do get a hold of them their answer is always "Well you can just cancel your order then."
Just order from Amazon if you want your items on time.

We have investigated this with our warehouse team and it does appear to be human error, one of our B grade items has been put in the wrong section of our warehouse with the A grade stock. The item itself, was in excellent working condition however, was without its original packaging. Unfortunately, the product offered was the last remaining stock and this particular line had been discontinued however, in usual circumstances, we would aim to offer a discount to suit both parties, or alternative product and provide this information in a timely manner. After a review of the email and call logs, we can see this opportunity was missed by our Customer Service team, before the decision was made to cancel the order.
