Thank God i quit, the working conditions for AINs we're unbelivable under Ben,he made me walk 20 minutes from a motel he got me at kaybram to the agedcare facility that was 40 minutes walk a day,i told him it's a long distance thinking he will provide me an option for a taxi, he never responded about it, First he got me a motel with no provision of cooking remember they give allowance to some workers and RNs are treated different from AINs remember we are all workers working for the same goal for the company it doesn't matter if your a cleaner or AIN at the end of the day the company depends on the people and the people is the company, working conditions have to be the same and respected and in my position he said they wont give me allowance,if you don't provide provision for cooking be realistic and kind enough and then give allowance but none of those two were provided if Sanctuary respects people's culture, why don't you respect the facts that there people who want to cook there own traditional food and not buying food everyday, and making matters once you try to call him to talk to him he sound arrogant like his already pissed like he scares you to speak up and if you speak out he says," (ooh i can replace you with someone if your tired"),what type of manager does that!? Like not ready to listen all he cares is for his company not the wellbeing of his workers, the reason why I'm writing this is because i got a feet pain out of over walking that's what my doctor said i over used my feet, and I'm not aiming to be compasated, im aiming for good working conditions for AINs not to end up with a feet pain like mine because i cannot walk now for a long distance, i didn't have the mind to run on review when i quit i just sent the complain to the workers right's online when i quit last month,i never had the idea of coming to this platform because ihave just got the idea today to let all AINs be very carefull please be carefully before you start work with them set your standard with no fear before they take in any contract the conditions have to be clear. Before starting to work for them, we agreed on 12 hour shift which they confirmed, Then i left sydney and the first facility i was a signed to work in victoria they provided me 12 hour shifts, after Ben took me to another facility and i asked him is it 12 hour $#*! or double? He said yes, after some days shifts we're cut down to 7 or 8 hours for the two weeks i worked there and walking 20 minutes to work, i told him icannot stay here if I'm working less hours than i work for while I'm in sydney, it doesn't make sense he said okay i'll talk to the facility manager, which he did and again the hours we're not what we agreed and he had extended my contract which i refused to complete because as a worker i have the right to terminate the contract if working conditions are not good remember i was walking 20 minutes to work that's 40minutes aday for more than 2 weeks, what hurt me he called me a liar that we never agreed on 12 hour shifts OMG that was unproffessional and unbelivable, all he cares about was his company not the wellbeing of the workers the Sanctuary AINs would complain about him in corridors at work but they we're scared to talk to him about it, I'm not scared to talk about something if it's not right i told him im quiting and he never paid my ticket back to sydney, all he said was ooh you have dissapointed the facility i told him it's not about the facility because i had talked to the manager days before that I'm leaving and she was very okay with it but Ben wasnot okay because he felt the company Sanctuary was losing money, that was so mean,i have never in my life worked for such bosses or company, you can believe me or not but that was the experience i went through and each time i get this pain when i work i say to myself why did i take on this contract why because i might leave with this pain forever and i just think of Ben z arrogance each time i get this pain,so please workers be carefull you either take me serious or not but dt wait to get a feet pain like me speak up
Good
