I never ever give reviews or complain about products. But being that I wear wigs as part of my daily lifestyle due to unfortunately having alopecia. I have been wearing only human hair wigs for over 20 years. I just recently started purchasing from Sam's beauty because of their large selection of human hair wigs. I must say my first few orders were exactly to the point from the picture to the delivery. I recently placed a second order for a few wigs that I had previously purchased from other companies, upon receiving the wig the second time from Sam's beauty it was a Totally different wig. The texture of hair was very coarse, the style of cut was choppy was definitely not the wig I have been wearing for years. I have received at least three wigs from this company that was not the original product. I never thought to read any reviews on the company prior to ordering, but once I started receiving false products. I started thinking how are they sending wigs that aren't as advertised. I can only conclude that they are using the company's name (ex. Outre, it's a wig, bobbi boss etc.) But making and processing their own wigs at a cheaper cost but we as the customer are paying for a product that's not actually made by the real company. Somewhat of the same concept of a knock off purse. This should definitely be investigated.It's very deceiving to the customers who support online shopping. I will not purchase from them again due to the fact, that my orders have been hit or miss I hope this does not start a online trend cause thier are a lot of woman who depend on wigs to complete thier daily style. I hope this can be helpful to women out there I have never ever experienced this from any company. Upon receiving my order from Sam's beauty the one wig by outre was horrible. I was very familiar with this wig and I was sure that something wasn't right. I placed an order for the same wig with a different company and when the wig arrived it was exactly what it was supposed to be. That's what sealed the deal for me to say that it is definitely some suspicious activity going on I'm from New York and we have all types of warehouses that will make any and Everything, so at this point it's just food for thought. I have always received my order in a timely fashion And they were good at communicating via email letting me know that my order was shipped. But just the last 3 wigs I ordered was not the same as the first. I will be sticking to the company I have been ordering from.
THE INITIAL ISSUE
Ive been purchasing from samsbeauty almost every month for a couple of years now. In the beginning I was happy with my purchases, then I noticed I was receiving defective wigs consistently but I didnt complain (these things happen) I was grateful to find an American company that ships to my location. I would fix the wig and work around the issues, (until I received a wig that was so poorly made, I couldnt fix or wear it.) It basically looked like a deformed helmet; bumpy with gaps, tracks showing that had no hair on the weft which created awkward spaces and the wefts on some parts where sewed incorrectly which made the hair flip out in separate direction also leaving the cap and tracks exposed. It looked very bumpy due to obvious poor construction.
THEIR RESPONSE
I contacted the live chat on their website, they told me to send them an email instead then ***they blocked me from their live chat service. *They didnt reply to my polite email (in which I hadnt even asked for a refund) I simply informed them of the issue with this wig and previous orders. I also voiced my concern for product quality as I had previously recommended samsbeauty to many people.
QUALITY
*Sometimes I receive a good wig then order it again but what arrives isnt good quality. *Now, almost everything I seem to be receiving since my complaint and review are often defective, poorly packaged and rough etc. (not just wigs) They delete all my unfavorable reviews, even when Ive provided photos as evidence of the condition in which my items were received, I dont receive an apology or a refund they just delete and ignore.
SHIPPING
*Prior to my complaint, my orders would be processed within 2 business days and my parcel would arrive within 3 business days from my order. Since my email, they now take as many days just to confirm my order. They also now use a different shipping number method; Im now unable to locate my parcels online for days until its no longer in the U.S. Ive also had issues with them shipping my parcel to the wrong place the first time they used this shipping delay system, it was sent to an American state when I dont even live in U. S Now I spend over $40 on shipping fees and wait over 15 days to receive my parcels.
HONEST OPINION
Im sure some clients receive decent products, as I have and still do sometimes. My advice would be to give them a try and see for yourself but if thing go wrong dont expect them to address the issue. You kind of never know what to expect but if things go right, stick to what works for you.

I PURCHASED A ORDER FROM SAMS BEAUTY.COM AND I RECEIVED A TRACKING # THE VERY NEXT DAY SO 3 DAYS PASSED AND THE TRACKING NUMBER HAD NOT UPDATED SO ON THE 4TH DAY FINALLY A UPDATE WHICH SAYS THAT MY PACKAGE HAD BEEN RETURNED SO I CONTACTED SAMS BEAUTY.COM AND THEY ASKED FOR MY ORDER# AND ALL THE INFO IN REFERENCE TO MY ORDER... THE FIRST THING THAT THEY SAID WAS YES YOUR PACKAGE WAS RETURNED BECAUSE NO ONE PICKED IT UP... BUT I REMIND YOU I NEVER RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF MY PACKAGE. SO AFTER ARGUING BACK AND FORTH CUSTOMER CARE SAID WELL WE CAN REFUND YOU IN 7-10 DAYS BUT YOU HAVE TO PAY A RESTOCKING FEE WHICH PISSED ME OFF BECAUSE IT WAS NOT MY FAULT... SO FINALLY I WENT IN TO MY LOCAL POST OFFICE WITH A SCREENSHOT OF THE TRACKING... I am an overseas customer of Sam's Beauty and initially I found their customer service was great, until recently. I buy wigs for a group of women with alopecia. If there is ever a defective item, Sam's Customer Service was excellent in the past, HOWEVER, WHAT THEY HAVE DONE RECENTLY, BEGGARS BELIEF! So I have deleted my earlier review!
We have found a trend amongst online wig sites, to duck for cover, ignore you and refuse to refund or fail to give you any advice on HOW to return a defective item, making purchasing wigs very stressful for women that are already stressed from hair loss due to chronic illness, alopecia, cancer, chemical hairdresser burns, etc. Initially we thought Sam's were great and took very good care of their overseas customers and we even emailed them to THANK them... however, recently we had the most HORRIFIC AND RUDE EXPERIENCE. I AM STILL IN TOTAL SHOCK!
Our group frequently spend over a THOUSAND dollars a month buying wigs though Sam's Beauty alone.
A member who normally orders and loves the Sensationnel Inna Couture wig in the colour DR613 as her daily go to wig, decided on the Sensationnel Couture Maylene in DR613 wig instead, as the Sensationnel Inna style was out of stock. When we received the order of 6 Maylene wigs, only the 2 dark units out of 6 units were OK. All three of the DR613 and the one SOM2PKW Maylene WIGS had tracks showing through the hair so we sent photos of the defective wigs with the tracks showing to Sam's Beauty.
Sam's responded that it is normal for the lighter colours to have tracks showing and would not accept our defective item case. I suggested we make a RETURN of the items though PayPal. That is when things got VERY NASTY and Sam's sent the rudest and most offensive response I have ever seen when asking for a return, saying that if we made a return though PayPal they would 'PLACE OUR ACCOUNT ON FRAUD' so we would not be able to purchase off them again! * Please refer to attached emails and photos.
These Maylene wigs need to be returned to the Manufacturer as their lighter colours are defective with not enough hair or darker roots in the back to cover the tracks and this problem needs to be rectified because it could be a really great style. We purchased the Maylene wigs from Sams and they should be the ones to return them to Sensationnel. It is not acceptable to send out poor quality product. Other blond wigs we have received from Sam's in this Sensationnel range have been fine.
We recently backed off buying from Sam's before this, as they were also sending us out stock to us that had very badly damaged packaging which is NOT OK.
Well, Sam's Beauty, you are NOT THE ONLY SUPPLIER WE BUY FROM. It's YOUR LOSS due to your own arrogance!
Research carefully to see if there are any issues with a wig before you make a purchase from Sam's. If something is wrong with it, you MAY have issues, as rude and arrogant service is repeatedly showing up throughout other review threads.
