I found this note at the door today 2/4/24 at the store at Rainbow and Spring Mountain. Are you kidding me...since or until. Who knows? I'm waiting 20 min.and still the store it's not open. It is not professional!

I work at a salon and do a lot of the ordering for supplies. Sally's always seems to be more expensive than many of the online stores.some products are twice as much for same size etc. Maybe your paying for convenience but as a small business, price is important too!

What they DONT tell you in order to keep their "Elite" status, is that everything is pre-tax. Yes, you can have what seemingly appears as $200 but is the before or after tax. In their description, they say to spend $200 or more to keep that status to e hot the free shipping on all orders. I lost mine because of $5 difference. Which sucks because they overcharge on shipping... So, looks like I'm out and going elsewhere. I, at least, know to keep that in mind from now on for whomever I decide to use. Would've been nice SALLY to have specified that in your description of your stupid "Elite" status. Over $5... And it says in a calendar year. Which it was.

Last week i recieved a broken product 60$ from online order. Called cust. Service to exchange through mail due to covid 19... hangs up after it transferred. I choose a different option hangs up again... so i email customer service a week ago. Nothing... so i call again today... busy signal. I called a store twice... they cant do anything or help me either... What the heck!? This is like ordering something from a scammer. We cant go to salons and the one place we can get stuff to diy is not holding up there part after i paid and did my part. Totally like... ummmmmm!?!?!?!

Ok so I purchased a travel hair dryer from the store this past holiday season, went home tried the dryer a few minutes of using the little dryer it became to hot to hold in my hands. I returned the dryer with no issues. I decided to use my return money and purchase than a gift for my daughter which I knew I had to purchase something for Christmas anyway. I went ahead and purchased a set of electric curlers. On the reciept it was noted that I made a return. Then I find out through another family member that my daughter hates electric curlers. I take the product back to the store for at least some kind of credit. The store tells me they can not take the curlers back because I had already made a return previously. How I wish the store clerk had told me I could not return these curlers for any kind of refund. Now I am stuck with curlers no one has use for in my house. Bottom line, I will never buy any hair tools from Sallys again. I will buy other products like hair colors or nail colors and such, because I do like their products but that's it, its too scary. Just wanted to share this, if it's even made public to maybe save someone else time, money and frustration. Thank you.

Tip for consumers:
Would have been helpful if the store clerk had mention their was not refund for the hair styling tool.

It took over a month to receive 6 out of 11 products I ordered online. No email information about the whereabouts of the delivery was available. After sending two emails to customer service without getting any answer I called customer service. Bad decision! I was on the phone for a whole hour before someone answered my call. The person was very unfriendly and told me to resend one of the ordered articles I never received and everything else was out of stock! Thank you a lot Sally's... Lack of information and bad customer service. I will not order here again.

Accidentally bought a left handed pair of scissors and upon trying to exchange them was told Sally's isnt taking returns or exchanges because of Covid- 1984
Ridiculous policy.

I've had terrible experiences every time I order online but my closest Sally's is almost an hour away so it's not convenient to keep going there. I went to order hair dye, a hair filler, and developer and placed my order, no more than 10 minutes after I placed my order I instantly realized I placed the wrong wella hair color in the cart so I emailed and asked if I could either cancel my order or change the color and got a response 20 minutes later saying they cannot make any changes or cancel my order and only have a 30 minute window to do so? A large company should be able to cancel anybody's order especially 10 minutes after I placed it. They said I could refuse delivery and maybe that would refund my money? But with covid and everything that would be over two weeks away. Very disappointed with Sally's customer service

Not terrible. But not good. I dont know if the guy working there what his deal was with me i walked in with a "hello how are you today?" And he had some stick up his you know what lol. The makeup area looked like ot had been struck by ww3 ..the skin care stuff caps and bottles looled liked they were half gone and i wasnt gonna ask him for help trying to find a pair of hair cutting scissors nope

I gave two stars because I notice that no matter which Sally Beauty you go to the customer service is sub-par and they usually have alot of ghetto people working at their locations. I think sallys should improve their game and include some high end brands in their stores so that they could make more money and maybe hire some better people with better customer service skills. I hate walking in on Sha Nay Nay being bothered because I need help finding hair dye. I should not have to deal with Sha Nay Nay attitudes.

I went to buy dye from Sally's. It was busy. After a few minutes, I asked the gal working at the check out if she was the only one and she replied with a smile that yes she was and that she'd help me when she was done. So I stayed in the dye isle getting out of the way of the line. About 20 minutes later, the noise quietened and I went over to check the line. The same gal worker had a basket (for shopping) over her head and she was laughing with another worker behind and to the side of the counter where you check out. She turned around and said oh. And laughed and proceeded to try to help me. I am very patient and am not the type of customer to freak out like some do and overreact. But that was... very disappointing. Time and time again I give sally's a chance and every time I go I am disappointed by their employees lack of training. I will still shop at Sally's if I need to, but not often, and I certainly won't be asking for their advice. They told me to go somewhere else for a product they didn't have and didn't offer me any other alternatives-as if going from black to blond was impossible. Well. A few days later I did it myself without sally's help. You'd think they'd want them to keep customers. Everyone I talk to that goes to this Sally's on MALL VIEW RD. Says they have disappointing experiences with their employees too. People still shop their regardless so I guess they don't take the time to train their staff and thus no one there takes their job seriously. Well. Us customers take our hair seriously and their are plenty of other places to go to. I'm not here to rat anyone out. Just here to ask SALLY's to please train your employees at MALL VIEW RD Sally's Beauty Supply east side of Bakersfield *******
