This place went down hill in expedition. I walked in to buy an item but needed to see if the color matched. It was already open so I used my finger to test it. There will only five of these products left, and every single one was open. The man with the fluffy hair and the green painted nails yelled at me that I had to pay for the item or he was going to call his manager. I didn't really have the extra money for an item. I didn't want however, I didn't have the time so I was forced to pay for it. They no longer have hair extensions and their items are mostly hair products. Their make up selection is slim and caters to people with darker skin which is fine but I have no use to ever walk back in this dump after the treatment I received from the King of Queens himself… I should have called the police if I had the time, but I work, I dont float around a jail cell sized store and threaten people. Price was supposed to be $10.00, I was charged almost $14.00 for their brand of open junk.
I went yesterday looking for a bleach amonia free. I usually use L'Oréal and they didn't have it available in Enfield store so I asked the employee and she gave me an Ion bleach and a Matrix developer that she affirmed to me were Amonia free and that they will work fine together. I used it as she explained me and few minutes later the product started burning my scalp and skin and I loose my hair. Was falling in bog pieces as I was washing my hair. 5 years letting my healthy hair grow to my lower back to loose it in a few minutes because of a bad person. She don't know what she is doing and I don't know how to even go outside with my hair like this.
I purchased Clairol semi-permanent color on 4/19/2024 at the Waterford Lake location 459 N Alafaya Trail, Orlando Florida ******* and the total cost was $11.32.
However, I purchased the same product on 4/5/2024 at a different store, and the total cost $5.49.
This is ridiculous and I recommend comparing prices before shopping at this vendor.
I have been to a local Sally Beauty supply twice. The first time I was recommended a shampoo that supposedly everone raves about. After purchase I found it harsh, drying and difficult to apply (no suds). Recently I returned to see if they could recommend a product to help with my grey yellow hair. The sales clerk tried to be helpful and after a bit of time I was recommended a product. I read the back information about what the product was for, questioned the clerk because it did not seem to be the correct produxt for treating my problem. Unfortunately I listened to her and not my intuition and purchased it. After using it once it turned my entire hair yellow! After a visit to a salon that is quite familiar with coloring and products, it seems that this may be a very difficult problem to fix. May have to try several different things. Take my advice...do NOT ask for assistance with what products to purchase. My experience is that they don't know what they are selling and what their products are about and for. Save your money and go to a salon with experienced staff. You will be glad you did!

I've only purchased a couple of things from Sally Beauty and had a very bad experience. The dryer I purchased has a diffuser, but the diffuser doesn't turn so you can only direct the air in one direction! I've had dozens of dryers in my lifetime and this is the only one that doesn't turn. Then I purchased eyebrow pencils that the website said, buy 2 get one free. I bought two and did NOT get one free. They claim it's because I didn't qualify. Why didn't I qualify was my question back to them. I was told it was because I didn't add the 3rd eyebrow pencil to the order. I've never had a BOGO or BOGT where I had to add it to the cart (I've been ordering online for years!). I was told that they will not make good on it now either. Basically, they told me, too bad, so sad. I will not be purchasing from them in the future. There are too many other reputable companies with much better customer service (who try to make the customer happy by righting a wrong) to deal with them again! How much would it have cost them to make this right? A couple of dollars? Well, for that couple of dollars, they lost a customer for life. I spend more than a couple of dollars a year on beauty products.

Well... I'm blown away. It's 2023 and last I checked you could return almost any product, but not Sally's product. I bought clippers and when I opened them I quickly realized that they were the wrong size. Tried to ask for a refund and they said no cause the box was opened. So now I have to eat the cost ($170). What company doesn't do returns? Brutal.
I have now had the experience of ordering something from Sally Beauty's website, MORE THAN TWICE, where they end up cancelling the order 5 days after it's placed with no explanation at all. They are also always out of EVERYTHING when I buy in-person (hence, why I'm trying to order online). Apparently they don't keep track of what's in stock before letting customers "purchase" them. So unprofessional- DONE with this store. Walmart would probably serve me better, no joke.

Don’t use it. Or, just be prepared to never receive your order, OR for the Sally Beauty team to just flat out cancel your order without explaining. Has happened more than twice to me now. So unprofessional and rude.

I purchase cordless clippers that are $50 more expensive than clippers with a cord I return the next day with the wrong clippers they gave me yet they charged me for the expensive clippers and looked at me like I was a thief trying to pull one over on them. I had to get mad blood pressure went up before they would even do anything they found out the girl charged me too much money for the wrong clippers. They're known for giving the wrong items out to their customers. I'm never going back and I'm going to tell all my customers about this place and never to go there hire people that are more educated if you want your business to run well.

Went to Sally's to get hair dye. Not one sales person could help us, we spent a long time looking for tips online and choose our own. I asked both women to help us and they basically had no info to provide. I called the next day to try to get some instructions on how to use the developer and again horrible customer service we will never go back. Unprofessional, rude and all in all not a good place to support with our business.

Sallys will not cancel your order even it was by accident. Calling customer service is pointless because they don't care. Basically they tell you too bad. Even after I got the email that said it was canceled, they still charged me and shipped it. This is 2023. I've never heard of a business not being able to cancel your order and refunding you. Never again will I shop here.

Entered the Sally's beauty in Framingham, Massachusetts on 7/21/23 around 4:48PM and I must say the service has totally gone down within the past few months. Two attendants were at the register one customer besides myself no one even bother to say hello may I help you nothing! It was as if I was not in the empty store that employed them! I will never use Sally's again!
I walked into my sally beauty store#2735 and an African American associate was at the counter. She saw me walk in and didn't acknowledge me. I walked around looking for facial bleach for 10 minutes, she still did not ask me if I needed help. A black women walked in and was helped right away. This store had little to none for fine hair. Everything is for African hair, I felt stereotyped due that I am White American. Sally beauty will never get me to shop here again. Toxic environment. 3/10/22 transaction #*******@ 3:09 pm.
I went to Sally's in Bixby Knolls Long Beach CA. Absolutely horrid customer service. Shelves empty and staff very disinterested. Not able or just unwilling to promote anything.
Every single time you go to ANY Sally store they never have product! I honestly don't know how you expect professionals to do their job! Not one single perm on the shelf! Drove to "3" different stores, for nothing!
I messaged the customer support at sallys because my girlfriends hairdryer which she loves by the way just shot sparks out of the outlet and about shocked the living $#*! out of her. Also could have caused a fire. I reached out to them and they sent me a copy of my transaction for the first one expecting me to buy a new one. The hair dryer was over 150 dollars plus I had the protection plan. No plan to help me I've written them two more times and they litterally won't even respond to me. Don't know what I can do anymore but hope nobody else has to experience this with this company which I thought great things about up till this point.

I purchased six cans of their Frozen Stiff hairspray, after waiting months for it to return to the market. When I received my package, which was over $60.00 in cost, the box and it's contents were wet. You could see the wetness, feel the wetness and smell the hairspray. Their cans are different that previous shipments, so clearly they're using a new supplier. I e-mailed them to say the cans were wet and I'd like them replaced and 12 e-mails later, they're still asking exactly which can leaked. How would I know? They were all wet and you'd need a scale to know which can leaked! I can prove with photos they are/were wet and that's all that matters. They should be replacing all six, but refuse to do so. This has dragged on for well over a week now, so I can only say that I will NEVER buy from them again. I have found a similar spray and will avoid Sally at all cost from here forward.
I made a large order from this website to take advantage of the free shipping option. After 3 weeks of waiting and recieving my order piece by piece, i called in to see where my bleach was. After waiting on hold for almost an hour in finally told that its out of stock. They didn't even bother to send me an email to let me know. I'll literally order from anywhere else. These people do not care.
The dude on the phone was sweet though.
Worst place to shop. The girls dress unprofessional they always seem to talk when I look at them for help they look away go back talking or either on their phones. I will never be shopping here ever again …

Sally beauty is just going downhill super fast I used to shop there but now it's all their stuff is crap. Just returned two bottles of nail glue just for simple charms how is the nail glue supposed to hold on a false nail if it can't even hold on to a charm on your nail. How is it I'm heading over to Walmart to find a small beauty item and that Sally could not even figure it out the buyers for sale I need to get it together nail charms are a huge thing nowadays you guys are missing out on tons of money.
I ordered online and received two damaged products and was charged for a missing item. I now have to wait 3-5 days for a refund so I can go buy the product at the store which I was trying to avoid because Sally employees close the store whenever they want which is the reason I did not go to the store to buy in the first place!
I ordered a nail file system on Oct 2021 for 159.00 and they sent it to another location, I still have not gotten the product but paid my charge card for sally's. I called customer service three time and two times they hung up on me, third time she couldn't even speak English and they will file complaint with UPS. Well still no product. I got credited on 151.65 on my instore card, instead of full price that I paid of 159.00 plus tax and shipping, which I have decided that they lost a customer.

I would buy in the store because if you do not , all you get is a headache trying to fix something that was their fault. then you do not get your full refund , when you never received the product in the first place.

I have ordered Keratin Shampoo 4 for 20$ and they send me one for 9.89$, but at least on the order conformation it says 4 of them, even though tey send just one. Also I ordered Deep Conditioning Mask Plus 4 for 20$, but that one showed only 1 for 12,59$. I have told customer service that they messed that up, and she said that I did not make it four times and that is a lie! So they sold me one shampoo and one conditioner for 38,18$. Conn-artists, that is what the customer service is.
I explained to clerk I wanted a clippers with guards to cut my own hair. She helped me pick it out and rang it up. I got home and found out it didn't have guards. I took it back and found out they have a no return policy. This wasn't explained to me in advance and although it is clearly stated on the receipt you don't get a copy of that until AFTER you buy the darn thing! Anyhow, I'm out $100 and I'll be happy to shop anywhere else in the future. PS 1star because zero isn't an option…
