I realized about a week and a half before a trip to the middle east that my passport expiration date was only five months away rather than the mandatory six month leeway that the government requires. My son did some research for me and rushmypassport was one of the options we had. After talking with a representative we decided to put the fate of my trip in their hands. So glad we did,, the service was incredibly easy to use. They send you email updates. Two concerns for me was no 24 hour customer service which I think would be good to have for a panicked customer and I found out that the package was shipped by tracking quite a few hours before the company sent me that final email. Those things aside, I would definitely recommend this service...a bit pricey but worth it to me!

First, I was extremely relieved this service is available given that I would not have been able to travel without an expedited passport renewal for my two children. The process is overwhelming and very exact so details are important. Amal and his team were incredibly helpful and patient as they walked me through every detail of the required documents and multi-step process so that I would not make a mistake and lose valuable time. Once I understood what I had to do, the rest of the process was easy to execute. Because they were so thorough in their explanations, I was able to make this happen without backtracking or missing items and steps. Once I dropped my paperwork to FEDEX in my prepaid postage, my only job was to check progress via email updates and wait for my passports! Thank you Amal and RushMyPassport! This is the second time I have used rushmypassport.com. They are the best, practically no wait/hold time when you call, knowledgeable staff, pretty much what they recommend regarding your situation works. We needed to use this service because of an unknown time restriction on our current passports for an upcoming vacation. I was a little panicked because of our required timeframe but Rush My Passport was very fast and thorough with email notices at every step. The Customer Service Rep was very helpful explaining every step of the paperwork to make sure the process went smoothly. I was a bit confused by their posted business hours, Mon-Fri 9-6. Seemed strange for a rush service of this type but noticed they also post access to a live chat which can be useful.

THEY ARE NOT THE ONES THAT EXPEDITE THE PROCESS OR EXPEDITE SHIPPING BOTH TO AND FROM THE PROCESSING FACILITY - ALL OF WHICH YOU PAY SEPARATELY FOR DIRECTLY TO THE US SECRETARY OF STATE AND THE PASSPORT AGENCY ONLY.

This company literally does NOTHING maybe aside from typing in your answers for you to print instead of handwriting it on a DS-11 (or DS-82 for renewal) that is FREE AND EASY TO FIND (online, post office, passport facility) that you have to print out anyway.

Now here's a list of what it does NOT include:
-The form for someone who is divorced (which we found out we needed)
-Instructions to write the mother's maiden name so we had to fill out a new DS-11 anyway when we got to the passport agency (Just saying you're paying a whole lot for nothing, at least you could have clearer instructions)
-Instructions that he emergency contact cannot be someone you travel with (Makes sense, but if they were going to charge for nothing again.)
-The copy of your ID cannot be printed on two separate pages but that the front and back is required on one page
-Does NOT include the passport photo service or fees
-Does NOT include the expediting fees to send the applications faster
-Does NOT include fees to process the application faster
-Does NOT include fees to have your passports shipped overnight back to you
-You still have to go to a passport location in person to complete your signature and provide your ID (and where you pay your real expediting fees to)

Long story short, our County Clerk office said we are one of many people who have fallen for many of these companies out of desperation when, in fact, they have nothing to do with the solution- just taking credit for it. We were advised to report it to our bank for fraud to get our money back.

RushMyPassport is smart. I think they probably under-promise and over-deliver. Not a knock on them. Just an observation. We were a bit panicky as I would suspect most who call them are. They were calm and reassuring and did NOT steer me to the more expensive, but unnecessary options. Our two passports arrived before promised by several days. My only gripe is that they (as well as their competitors) seem a bit overpriced, but that is our fault for overlooking something as obvious as the expiration dates on our passports. And we are experienced travelers! All that being said, if anyone I know ever needs this type of service, I will recommend RushMyPassport.
