We purchased many products in the past form RTG only to be recently MOSTLY disappointed. We purchased the SOLANA POP EXTENSIONT ABLE WITH GLASS in December 2020 for $699.99. After only 1-year, the discoloration of one of the panels was extremely evident. We also purchased the FORTEGRA 3-YEAR GUARD warranty ($56) which is TOTALLY USELESS. If you're going to purchase from RTG, which I do not recommend, DO NOT PURCHASE ANY SERVICE CONTRACT.

The sales people and delivery team were professional and helpful. They did push the 3 year warranty and don't seem to give the honest details of it. Within 3 months the cushions were breaking down and you could feel the boards in the couch. The quality is terrible especially for the prices.

First of all, I love Rooms To Go. I love walking through the store and dreaming, and I have bought a lot of furniture there, mostly couches, chairs etc and have been very pleased. This time, however, I purchased a Dining set-Riverdale was the name. The surface of the table is very delicate and unless you plan to never use it or touch it, Buyer Beware! Beautiful but delicate.
As to the extended warranties, I have never had a case to use one, and watch out the cost is tacked on before you know it, but I would continue to get them for stuffed items like couches, however trying to use it for the table, fine print after fine print, and for me, useless.

I called Rooms to Go Customer Service today, 6/7/2022 because one of the electric recliners on my leather sectional stopped working and the footrest is stuck in the up position. I purchased my sectional in February 2021, and have been a loyal customer that has purchased two sofas, end tables, an ottoman, and a host of other furniture from Rooms to Go since 2017.
The response I received was because my sofa warranty has expired, there is nothing they can do. The rep on the phone then suggested that I Google.
I understood that my sofa warranty has expired, but a company that actually cares about their customers should offer the ability to have a service tech come out to repair the broken furniture, and the customer pays for the repair. That would be perfectly acceptable to me, and much better than telling me, sorry, we can't help, and go to Google.

I love my Rooms to Go furniture, but I will absolutely never buy anything else from this company.

Tip for consumers:
That when your warranty expires, they do not offer any additional repair solutions.

I bought the Robson sectional at R2G, sight unseen because they didn't have the model in the store and the set I wanted was too large for my room. Buyer's remorse big time! So cheap and gaudy looking. LESSON LEARNED!

I gave two stars because the salesperson was decent.
I bought a sofa chaise at a sale price and just used door delivery because the only assembly required would be attaching the legs to the sofa and the ottoman. Based on past sofa purchases, that should have been just a matter of screwing the legs on to where there is a pre-drilled hole.
The delivery went well, and the delivery guys were great. But when I saw the legs, which were plastic, after removing the packing materials, I was very surprised because I have only ever had wood legs. First to see plastic legs, and then to see they were to be attached with regular screws not an attached bolt was disconcerting.
The biggest issue was that there were no assembly instructions supplied, nor were there markings on the bottom of the furniture pieces indicating where the legs should be placed.
I called customer service asking for assistance in how to place the legs but that was no help, as it was stated that I did not pay for setup, and there were no assembly instructions for customers who chose to assemble themselves. I was also told to ask the store where I made the purchase for help.
I was very angry and wanted to return the sofa, so I returned to the store and was told there were no returns after delivery was made, I unfortunately had not seen this when making the purchase, so I sucked it up and asked if the store had assembly instructions, the answer was no. How do you sell a sofa and offer the option for customers to setup themselves but don't offer instructions? The manager then said they could offer setup at no cost after seeing how upset I was. I agreed and was told I would get a call from Rooms-To-Go to set up the appointment in a few days, so I agreed. I was called a couple of days before the scheduled day, so was unable to take the call. When I returned the call to arrange the setup appointment, I was informed that no such thing had been noted on my order and once again was told I did not pay for setup upon delivery, therefore they could not help me. I was informed that I should wait for the appointed day of the call and maybe they would have setup something that the customer agent I spoke to was unaware of. Surprise, surprise (are you surprised, I'm not), I never received another call. I then proceeded to try to figure out how to attach the sofa legs myself because I determined Rooms-to-go customer service is an oxymoron and trying to contact them again would only frustrate me more and make me angrier that I already was. Happily, I'm handy, and with some trial and error, I got those legs attached.
What I determined is they do not want to help you after the purchase, what they really want is for you to pay the setup and installation fee, so you won't have to ask for assembly instructions.
After this experience I will never buy anything ever again from Rooms-to-Go because of the horrible customer service experience. Hopefully I won't have to use the warranty, which I purchased because I've seen crappy reviews regarding that. I wish I have checked reviews before making the purchase.

Lied about delivery date of dresser and mirror. Purchased headboard and frame and was told verbally that the dresser and mirror will be delivered the following week would be that tuesday. Never received a verification that it would be delivered. Since it was not confirmed that it is being delivered we canceled the order to be refunded for the dresser and mirror. We confirmed verbally that the order would be delivered that tuesday not December 15 2020..

I have been furnishing my homes for 7 years with RTG furniture. All I can say about it is that it all gets uncomfortable. It all wears quickly, and gets beat down quickly. The stuffing of the cushions in all the couches we have had have gotten stiff and flat. Last year we bought an l-sofa. One year later the internal frame ripped apart and popped all the springs. Our extended warranty covered the replacement but it was not without inconvenience. I expect that this furniture that has been in my house for two months now will break in the next year. Our new loveseat is like sitting on a 15 year old spring mattress in the dip. If we didn't have to continue to pay on the furniture we bought a year ago that is now completely different due to poor craftsmanship and a warranty replacement, I would save my money and not buy from here.
