I need a short-term furnished rental at a reasonable price in ahigh-rent area, San Diego. I found several suitable options.
The one thing I will say is make sure to confirm with someone that your subscription has been canceled. Despite what they say - deactivating or suspending your account does not stop them from charging you. They also say you can cancel just by clicking cancel but no such button exist. I do not recommend.
Every time I login, I get asked about upgrade and no chance to check my profile or listings

You tricked me into subscribing so I could see a message that somebody sent me about their room for rent... Very sneaky...
I needed to find as many listings as possible in very short time, so your site was one of many I tried out today.

Way to much pay gateing and phishing for me to have a positive experience. I mean 8 dollars for 5 days of messaging?

If a better option presented itself I would go with that option. Due to my current landlord circumstances I'm using this site.
Having to pay for messaging brings the experience on this site way down. The process of making my listing was also confusing and some important info was automatically removed from my listing including measurements of the room I'm offering.

Paying to see messages is annoying. There has to be some other revenue model that doesn't feel like extortion. Also, I think I've tried this service before and was unimpressed with the respondents. They seemed like they were just messaging anyone and asked to see my apartment without giving me any details about who they were or what they were like. I'm only using this service again for a week because I'm desperate to fill a room due to COVID.

So I was directed to this site by a person on Craigslist sho wanted me to register with Roomster. Okay, no problem. Except when you go to register it's $15 to validate your ID and then you don't really get anything until you actually purchase a subscription. So I'm into this for $20. No big deal, but
I didn't find ANYTHING that met my needs. So I went back to Craigslist and found exactly what I was looking for. Roommster is a big failure in my book.
Does any one have a no-pay? 1 of the 4 choices should. It appears as if i had the 1st couple of days I did; cause i replied for 2 or 3 days & now i have to pay. If tenant. Roommate, house, or room was not in the mix none of thiscould work. Each needs the other to function

You need to be more upfront that a person will not see any messages from whom they have messaged, until they pay.
Out of choices. Hoping Roomster isn't a full blown scam, but have legitimate rooms for rent.
Didn't really want roomster. More or less forced into it.

Cost model is terrible with no previous experience to how successful your platform is at making results that turn into rented rooms to reliable people
