Ordered a part and they sent box with the wrong parts in it. Sent it back and they only refunded 1.83 after they took almost 20 steer clear from these crooks because they do not make it right or give you the right parts wouldn't rate anything if I could.
If I could give no stars at all I would. A coworker suggested I give this website a try so I ordered a part for my moms car to get it running for her birthday this weekend. Paid extra to have it delivered and the part never showed. Customer service is absolute garbage and shipping is "not guaranteed" by this trash company. Yet they show shipping times and the prices and you get screwed since the "shipping isn't guaranteed" by them. Everywhere else has you pay extra and if items don't arrive they offer a refund for the shipping costs. When you email a "question" you get the run around and same thing repeated. The lack of customer service is not worth using this company. Will NEVER use Rock Auto again that's for sure. Definitely do research before ordering from this scam company.

I have been managing customer service for years! I have never seen such poor customer service. When they do contact you, it is a standard script, sorry we can't do that! They are all about their bottom line and do not care about their customer, the system is all automated and not customer friendly at all.

My boyfriend ordered some parts to fix my moms car for $169 the charge took while I was simultaneously told on the website I didn't have the funds. When I called the company they say it's my "bank" not them that has my money. When I talk to the bank they say the charge went through for and from rock auto it's cashapp so once you make a purchase on there they just can't return it. So I lost damn near $200 and don't have any parts. Pay more to somewhere reliable guys it's not worth it slimy $#*! company.

The worst experience of purchasing car parts ever! My complaints with RockAuto are similar to the complaints everyone else has. No customer support. Wrong parts. Missing parts. Everything gets mailed back at the customers expense. If you try to arrange a return by using their web site, the questions they ask you always requires you to pay the shipping return fees. It does not matter if it is their fault. You still pay! In short, this company is a scam. I can't really send back anything because I never got the part(s) to begin with.
Bought a AC compressor for my 2011 Nissan Frontier. IT NEVER WORKED. Got a new born that I need to keep cool and I'm going to have to go threw another company as Rock Auto keeps the money I paid them for a dead compressor! Tried to email them many times and no response! Conveniently no customer service number. Save your time and money and shop locally! Rock Auto is a scam and will screw you over!
Good Quality parts, but the customer service sucks, i paid for a part to get here earlier then normal, But a week later still no part. Tried to call but they don't have support customer service over the phone, so I go online and they don't support customer service online like they said. So I'm just out of the money I paid and have to wait for my part if it show up. Don't us RockAuto cheaper parts but not worth the time.

My second and last order with RockAuto. Ordered a pitman arm for my 1986 Mazda b2000. The box the part came in had the correct part number but the item in the box is wrong. Notified Rockauto. They tell me I need to give them the OEM part number, my vin, and to give them the dimensions of the bore of the original Pittman arm as well as the one they sent to me. Also I would have to pay half of the return shipping charges! No customer contact just damn emails. I dont own a set of mics and not going to buy a set over a $20.00 part. This is what you get when you deal with a second rate company. Buyer beware! Roll the dice and take your chances. I suggest you look at their reviews before ordering from these folks
Purchased Radiator, shipping box was damaged product was damaged - Rockauot stated via email damage was normal and bound to happen during the life of the Radiator wants to charge for the return.

I ordered 2 cam pos sensors and a cabin air cleaner, Chose the DHL next day option so I'd get the sensors in time to fix car. The shipped only the $3.53 Cabin Air Cleaner DHL and only after I ordered and checked shipping status did I find out I won't get the sensors until Friday. There was no indication or option to separate the shipping. It only has one option for shipping and indicates all separate parts and included when you choose the DHL Option. To make matters worse DHL stealth delivered and my package was grabbed by a neighbor kid and RockAuto basically told me not heir problem in email. I still won't have the parts required for the car to run. They told me to wait until Friday before I can complain about the parts that were guaranteed delivery today and then RockAuto decided to not send them (Cam Sensors) DHL after I paid for it. Add to that I ran the same exact order and same shipping option for this review and it now is only $24. Xx for the same shipping option and shows all parts scheduled for delivery the same day. Sensors are from one location and filter another. Same as indicated on previous order.
I'm thinking the excessive avoidance of customer contact and total lack of online options for these very common issues are a product of such bad service and frequent lack of services completed as promised, have made it impossible to afford enough staff to correct the issues. So what the hell, screw the customer, we already got the payment. Never again. Plenty other resources. Amazon has never failed at customer service. RockAuto makes Wish.com look like a 5 star operation.

I made a mistake by attempting to purchase a new aftermarket master power window switch as it did not even last for a couple of dozen uses on the drivers side switch. It burnt closed on the auto down function and almost burnt the drivers window motor out because of this but thankfully I had an idea due to my mechanical ability and removed the switch and smashed it to bits and saw it had burnt as suspected. Do yourselves a favor and stay away from these guys and its not surprising to see this is far from an isolated incident after reading the less than stellar reviews. There business name should be garbage parts auto...
This was my 2nd order with rockauto, suggested by a friend for their "reasonable prices"
first was a speedo cable for my old 63 mopar, lasted exactly 1 month (not due to the car either).
2nd order was a complete exhaust system and a set of rear coil springs / shocks for the wifes pathfinder.
Long story short car apart, wrong diameter coils, had to get them locally at NAPA (5 Stars for them) exhaust system wrong collector size for cat converters, flange bolt holes entered cat opening, frustration with service UGH save yourself the grief, please don't shop there
