This useless crap store send me a fuel pump, here to Sweden. But somehow it left Sweden before I even was informed about it's arrival. According to the shipping schedule it was available for one our at my pick-up location. Not the usual two weeks.
When I emailed them they were very rude and they blamed me for every mistake they did, and they never payed back my money! When I asked for my money they stopped answering my emails.

They sent me the wrong car part, and then refused to refund me the total amount I paid for it, as if it were my own fault even after I paid shipping to send it back. Rude over email and do not even have a phone number to call. Now, I am out close to $30 because of all this... Do not buy from here.

We have used RockAuto for years and it looks like things have changed, sadly. I'm not sure when they had email or phone support as we never had an issue except once, a few years back, and you DO need to prove to them something was wrong with a part or prove it was under warranty. That is understandable, but now the customer support is all but non-existent. They used to ship VERY quickly too, to the point we would receive items within a day or two at the latest. Until now...
Ordered a part on Saturday July 30th and a label was created the same day - but was never picked up. It's now Wednesday and still says shipping label created but NOT accepted by Fedex. I found an old email to contact them (for refunds) and asked to cancel the order since we expected the part yesterday (Tuesday) and yet it still hasn't moved. The employee said it has been picked up, its just not in the system and that you can no longer cancel because its not at the warehouse - hmm - sounds familiar. We were told you must wait until Aug 9th, if the package is not received, to open an investigation. Well, after calling Fedex today (Wednesday Aug 3rd) it turns out they DO NOT have the package and ONLY the shipping label was created. It's nice to be lied to. 5 days and ONLY a shipping label created yet the part was expected to be delivered YESTERDAY Aug 2nd. So they lie to customers to avoid order cancellations and now we will need to spend MORE money to buy elsewhere and have it arrive in a day.
If we don't get anymore responses via email regarding the request for cancellation then I will be contacting the state Attorney Generals office in Wisconsin to at least let them know about the unscrupulous practices of this company and also take up a dispute with our bank.

I've made lots of purchases from rockauto for multiple vehicles for at least 10 years. (5 boys, old cars) I've most always had good results and the parts are as described. Only one time did I receive a defective distributor cap (internal short) that cause me some headaches but out of dozens of purchases that is the only one. I received a refund for the defective part but I had to pay a mechanic to figure out what was wrong because I didn't expect a new cap to be bad. Prices are usually better than local auto parts stores even taking into account shipping cost and they have saved me a lot of money. Make sure to use 5% discount code they email you or search for it on the web.
Avoid this company or risk being ripped off. I had ordered a A/C condenser for my F150. I chose the decent one that was $128.79 they tried to scam me and send me the one that was $68.79 They changed all the paper work making it seem like it was the brand I chose. Right away I knew it wasn't the one I ordered, I compared it to the cheaper one and sure enough they had sent me the wrong one. They tried to scam me. On top of that I had to pay to ship it back. I will not buy from them again. Package also came in pretty beat up.
I have ordered a few thousand dollars worth from RockAuto and shipping is 9 out of 10 times late. Most parts are China made cheap metal and plastic and not good quality. After a few problems and horrible customer service I have now taken my business to American or Japanese companies with quality parts and service. This company is so non customer friendly there is NO NUMBER to call nor even a live chat on the website. That in and of itself shows they have no honor or customer values. They only want money for cheap crap parts from China. I would never use this website or company for any auto needs again
Ordered a Fuel pump for a 2001 Chrysler Mini van, put the fuel pump in correctly and it would NOT pump gas, it would run but not pump gas, so we sent it back and ordered a new one, same thing happened, the batch of fuel pumps for this vehicle are defective, at least these two we received were. They said it was installed wrong, NO it was NOT installed wrong. Now we can't send the second one back. Really disappointed with the service from this company.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ROCKAUTO--UNETHICAL. Rock Bottom should be their name. They sent a brake pad and rotor kit where only the front is compatible. Because its over 30 days they won't even exchange. UNETHICAL. All I want is the parts that fit my car that I PAID FOR. I could give a rip if its been more than 30 days. Why should I be responsible for RockBottoms mistake? Will see if I can get my credit card company to dispute the charge since they didn't provide the correct parts.
The worst! I purchased a piece from them and they sent me the wrong color. Now I have to return it and pay $8.00 for the shipping and handling. What a rip off. I want to sue this company for lying to me. I really needed the part too. So mad!
On a Sunday I took the brakes off the front of my car. I needed a rotor and pads so I placed my order that day and I got a email that they would be shipped the next day on Monday and they would be delivered on Wednesday. They used Fedex for the delivery and on there site all it said was label created. You can no longer call Rockauto for customer support, they have no live chat or email. You have to do it all on there web site and they made me wait till the following Tuesday to see if it would be delivered and for me to get my refund. Now my car has been down for over a week for a simple brake job because Rockauto idoes not want to pay somebody for custimer support so now I am buying fro another on line store that has a phone number for customer support.
Ordered a part on Jul 22,2022. Paid for 2-Day expedited shipping and as of today (Jul 27th) there is no order delivery status. Rockauto has no way of contacting them. They have no customer support and once you pay, they are out of the equation. You can't contact then by phone, you can't talk to anybody, you can't chat, you can't do anything with them on the order, just wait & see. Eventually, you can request a return if you did not get the part, but in my case I had to purchase the part somewhere else because the Rockauto part did not arrive in time. You paid for a sevice and they did not deliver. I understand that DHL Express is the carrier for delivery, but it is RockAuto who contract with them to deliver. This has happened before to me with Rockauto and I should have learned. Miss once - shame on me. Miss twice - shame on you. There will not be a third time with Rockauto. Terrible company to deal with. Never again.
Wrote to rockauto to get refund for junk alternator they sold me. They said they would refund me money after I returned the alternator to New York from Iowa. They said that they would credit my credit card with refund after 3 days. I no longer use that credit card and they refused to any other offer that I made them. I know that if I send them the alternator I will have nothing. I offered to drive the alternator to Madison and get refund but they refused that offer. They then blocked me from further correspondence. I will never do business with this company ever again. I will find a Wisconsin Agency to further my complaint against this company. Do not do business with Rockauto.
Ordered spark plugs on a Sunday was told will receive on Thursday they were not mailed out until Wednesday 8 days later still no spark plugs had to buy them from local Auto parts store Rock Auto can suck it! Never again will I order from Rock Auto

I honestly loved to buy from rock auto my dad buys from Rick auto a lot of people buy from rock auto. I bought a driveline from them and I'm not going to talk about the amount of time to took to get anything because of supply delays but it was not even close to the driveline I needed, followed the app for returns, received the return slip and sent it back. They are now saying the never received the driveline and will not refund my money so we called our bank and had them cancel the order, once the bank did their investigation RA said that no return was requested and nothing was issued, unfortunately for them we have all the information in email and screen shots.
This is the worst situation
I will not be shopping with them anymore and I am going to start a review war to make sure others don't fall pray to their schemes.
Company uses date on invoice to qualify you for their 30 day return policy. After 30 days you are now dealing with manufacturer and forget about liquids lost and shipping charges accrued. Perfect irrespirable vender just in business to make money only screw the customer. Never again will I do business with this crappy dealer.
I've ordered about 15 parts total and 7 of them have been wrong. I've tried to return them but I was either outside of the 6 week return date on the parts didn't cost enough for them to send a return box. They don't post a phone a number to speak to a person so that just adds to the frustration. STAY AWAY FROM ROCKAUTO!
Received item that was listed as compatible with my vehicle. Upon receipt, saw it clearly was not compatible. Verified with local dealer. Believe the manufacturer made a change due to Covid-related supply chain issues and it wasn't well communicated. Asked Rock Auto to split the shipping costs because it's not really my fault OR theirs; they refused. Submitted BBB complaint; The refused to help. The people here come across as hostile and hellbent on being right at all costs - even if it means bickering over < $10, losing a customer, etc.
