Well, I got my slotted and drilled rotors on time that was wonderful! Then the M@t&erf$3kers sent my pads DHL. Must have been on a slow boat from China. I paid for shipping too. They want me to do business with them again?
I bought 2 Strut / Coil Spring / Mount Assembly for my vehicle. They were $436.79 each. I brought the parts to my mechanic and when he was installing them he noticed that one of the struts had a broken wire. He was able to fix the part, and my auto is working fine. I went back to RockAuto and explained the situation after figuring out a way to communicate with them. They have no customer service. The email I used was *******@rockauto.com. I asked for a discount since the part was damaged. They said you should have returned the part. I explained my auto was already taken apart on a lift. Rockauto said they did not care. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, SPEND A COUPLE EXTRA DOLLARS WHERE YOU KNOW YOU WILL GET A PART THAT IS NOT DAMAGED AND YOU CAN WORK WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was finally able to get in touch with someone at Rockauto and they did give me a credit for $50.

I ordered front and rear rotors and pads for my 2014 Honda Accord V6 back in April. I had the rear brakes put on my vehicle back in May and those were the correct part needed. Now that the front needs to be replaced, I took my car in to have them put on. Once the mechanic put the rotor on he noticed it was smaller but thought I could still get away with it. I test drove it and didn't feel comfortable so I had him take it off. I had to go to the auto store to get new rotors ands paid $105 each, 2 days of my time and more money wasted all because of an error on Rock Autos part. They sent me the wrong part, it wasn't my error.
When I reached out to them they said I'll need to return the parts to get a refund and be further inconvenienced and go out of my way some more. I explained I shouldn't have to go out of my way to return them because it was their fault.
You can't call and speak to someone from Rock Auto when you have a problem, you have to email them.

Bought a 200$ high performance clutch. Broke it in for 500 miles and recently after still taking it easy the clutch will slip in second gear. The throw out bearing is bad. The clutch pedal is spongy and honestly was a waste of my money bc I spend 1,000$ on the clutch total and I'm gonna half to turn around and spend more than that bc I cant trust rock auto to buy from them anymore.
I ordered SKP oil pan part number *******. I was rebuilding an engine & it took a long time to get all the parts. I didn't know there was a problem until the engine was finally rebuilt, but the dip stick won't go into the engine. There is guide inside the oil pan to direct the dip stick to the rear sump. This guide in the pan isn't in the correct place or the stamping is wrong, so you can't check the oil level of the engine.
I am now about 3 weeks past the warrantee date on the part & they won't do a return or refund for a defective part. The part is obviously defective and I spent a lot of time putting it on and off 3 times to confirm what was wrong.
Can't cancel my order when it's still sitting in their warehouse. Since i can't talk to anyone to resolve this issue. I now have to wait until it gets delivered, lose the cost of shipping, and then pay to ship it back. Horrible.
On about July 25th, I ordered a power steering pump from Rock Auto. I ordered the same day from another vendor and used the same credit card. I immediately noticed that my second purchase was a scam and alerted my credit card company, who cancelled the card. I later discovered that the Rock Auto purchase was cancelled also as part of the cancellation. I tried to reconcile the purchase with Rock Auto by another method of payment, but they would only accept a dispute reversal. I tried to cancel the order, but they wouldn't because they say that it is in process. This is horrible customer service! I tried calling their number, but it is only for other businesses. It's their way or the highway! I have been a customer for about 15 years. That means nothing to them. Unless they improve their customer service, I won't be back. They also have taken about $30-$50 from me for returns.

I have purchased from Rock Auto for many many years with fantastic results and I WAS a very happy customer. I have 6 credit cads of which one is an AMEX. NONE of my credit cards work at Rock Auto, and there is no resolution and no way to contact them to resolve the issue. (My credit card company indicates that the issue is with the Rock Auto, after watching the transaction attempts) I am sadly now resigned to purchasing from ONLY their competition. I wish them the best of luck with their ZERO CUSTOMER SUPPORT, as proven by all of the people who have had issues, and unable to resolve them because of ZERO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. Well, I sincerely wish the Staff at Rock Auto the very best at their new jobs when they go out of business for not supporting the people that pay their paychecks. For your new job, I suggest you attempt real customer support instead of ignoring your customers. USED to be 5 stars, now 1 star, and good luck if you have a problem. Cannot provide proof of purchase for this review since the Rock Auto Website will not allow me to purchase anything any more.

Item arrived late, contacted FedEx and they said because shipping was paid by Rock Auto, they have to request a credit to their account and send refund to customer. NO way to contact Rock Auto even at Corporate. How many other people are ripped off and essentially providing free shipping for Rock Auto?!
