My wife and I purchased a Hobot S6 Pro Robotic Window Cleaner at the Lardner Park Garden & Home Expo from Robot My Life on 5th October 2024.
We were told that the order would be processed on the next morning, and we would get delivery within a week.
The receipt was sent by email, and we checked it before we left Lardner Park. The price of $750- was deducted from the Credit Card on the 6th October 2024.
We checked our emails every few days expecting a delivery advice and a Tracking Number, however the only contact from Robot My Life was 4 promotional emails received over a two week period.
On 18th October I contacted Robot My Life Head Office and Showroom, and was told that no record of our order could be found. I established that I was talking to a call centre, which I have now discovered was overseas (I believe in the Phillipines).
The Agent requested a copy of the Order and Tax Invoice, which was duly sent to him.
I informed him that they had at most two hours to get back to me with details of the shipment date and a valid tracking number with a trustworthy courier firm, and that if this did not occur, I would contact our Bank and cancel the payment.
This morning, having not received the requested information, we contacted the Bank and cancelled the payment, and are anticipating our refund in the next few days.
We also reported the matter to the Warragul Police, and suggested that as it appeared that quite a few people may have been impacted with this sort of problem, there may be some tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars involved, and that it might be a good idea to advise the Lardner Park Garden and Home Show organisers that this Company should not be allowed to operate there in the future.
THIS COMPANY CANNOT BE TRUSTED, THE REVIEWS THEY QUOTE HAVE BEEN MANIPULATED, AND THEY ARE IN BREACH OF MANY OF THE AUSTRALIAN COMPETITION & CONSUMER COMMISSION REQUIREMENTS.
I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM, AND IF YOU HAVE PURCHASED ANYTHING FROM THEM THAT YOU CANCEL ANY PAYMENT AS SOON AS THEY FAIL TO DELIVER ON TIME.
It would also seem likely that their products are inferior, and that Warranty or Replacement Parts will be unavailable.
As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for, and if it seems too good to be true, it probably is!

None, purchase was never delivered, a common problem with this Company. In addition, it seems that the quality of their products is poor, and Warranty and Repair services virtually non existent. Read the large number of bad reviews on this and other sites, and save your money.
This company is an absolute NIGHTMARE to deal with. Customer service and communication is DISGUSTING!
I ordered a Legee D8 and Lulu Tower on 27.6.24 and paid the $16 for express post. Received this email on 1st July: "Thank you for your order from Robot My Life AU store! We wanted to let you know that your order (#*******) was shipped via Aramex Australia, Leave at Door on 1/7/2024. You can track your package at any time using the link below". Problem was that the tracking number was incorrect and nothing showed up on my door.
When I STILL hadn't received my order by 6th July, I sent 5, yes 5 emails asking for the correct tracking number, asking where my order was, asking for a response, but got NOTHING back.
10th of July I have still had absolutely no response or communication for Robot My Life, so decide to call them. It took me 9 attempts to call them, not a word of a lie or exaggeration…9! I called all "showrooms" and the head office over and over. Finally, Angel answered to inform me that due to the end of financial year sale, they were out of stock and waiting on a shipment. I complained that none of my emails had been answered, she told me that because that customer support email doesn't work due to a new system being used. So why the hell isn't that on their website?
Angel assures me I will get confirmation of when the shipment is received and a tracking number when it is dispatched. She also assures me that I will be refunded for the express delivery and she has sent me an email with details now….no email ever arrived from her.
The next day, 11th July, I receive this email: "Thank you for purchasing the new HOBOT LEGEE D8 and LuLu Tower during our June EOFY sale, which has been extremely popular. You would have already received your LEGEE D8 and awaiting delivery of the LuLu Tower. We apologise, there is a slight delay with the delivery of the LuLu Tower due to an unforeseen delay with the Australian Customs (Australian Border Force).
The good news is that a container of products is in Melbourne port and awaiting delivery to our warehouse for immediate dispatch. Please expect tracking next week, and receipt of the goods likely the following." NO, I HAD NOT RECEIVED MY LEGEE D8! Again, tried to email with no response.
12th July, called Angel at head office AGAIN! This time, it took me 11 times trying to call before she answered. This time I was told that they were still waiting for the Lulu towers and that her email should have gotten to me but that she would send another. I didn't let her off the phone this time before I received her personal email address. Not that that helps, she still doesn't respond. She promised that the shipment is due next week and I will get tracking details by the end of the week.
Yesterday, 18th July, I email Angel, asking for an update on my order and asking that she respond asap.
So today, 19th July, still no word on my order. So I call AGAIN!
Angel answers, tells me that, yes, they have received the shipment of Lulu towers, but now they are out of stock of the Legee D8s! They expect them to arrive next week. Yeah, I highly doubt it. When asked why she doesn't respond to emails, she stated that its because of "staff issues".
To say I am furious is an understatement. This is the most unprofessional, disorganised, useless company with hideous customer service. I am considering making an official complaint to consumer affairs and it appears from the reviews on this site, I am not the only customer being stuffed around and scammed.
The photo attached is after three days of mowing mid-shin deep lawn. Only patches are left.
Bought the Mobot S5, Vacuum+Mop D8 and Lulu tower, and the Hobot 2S window cleaner. It's hard to explain the value this company has provided because it's saving me 2hrs a week for the rest of my life. 104hrs a year. 4.3 days of straight cleaning per year, done.
The D8 is the best of the lot, because it saves me the most time - 2hrs a week of vacuuming that I never have to do again. Highly effective, house looks like it's just been cleaned, all the time. Water needs refilling once a week, same with the dustbin, without the Lulu tower. For the first week it needed some time to get used to the house, and got lost or stuck every few days. Now it has no issues at all, and the map has refined. Runs on autopilot now. Map function is easy to use, automatically pinged it to my phone. Can choose the order of the rooms it cleans in, can tell it to avoid certain rooms, can tell it to do a dry mop or stain mode etc in other rooms.
The Mobot managed to chop through shin-deep lawn slowly over four days working 9-4pm, and by the end it was almost perfectly trimmed like freshly cut grass. A few patches were left cos the pattern takes time to cover the whole lawn, 250m^2 or so. The patches are disappearing one by one every time I look out the back. THERE ARE NO GRASS CUTTINGS LEFT ON THE LAWN. I was sceptical about this beforehand.
It did take a bit of time to set up, but now it runs on a schedule and I don't have to touch it. I didn't expect it to be able to handle how much grass I put it up to. Nor did I expect it to handle the mud (some got stuck in the wheel but the Moebot doesn't seem to care).
The Window Cleaner is something I recommend for bathroom mirrors, inside, and outside windows which have already been given a good clean. It is able to take off a layer of dirt and dust effectively, but not dry stuck-on dirt or stains. The company was good at managing my expectations and communicating the limitations. I am confident that the 2S will maintain a clean window for me, with semi-regular use maybe once every few months, as long as the window has been given a good clean beforehand.
The customer service team has been super helpful, and they were able to get the D8 and Moebot to me just a few days after I made the order. The 2S window cleaner I ordered was a refurbished model, and when I reached out to ask about getting the items delivered, the customer service team member assured me he was going to take apart and inspect the 2S personally to make sure I got a functioning model. Went above and beyond to help me out.
