Got the job done quick, pleasant Gentleman an didn't make me feel uncomfortable in my own home like a lot of them do. Would definitely recommend.
Was quoted £168 to fix a toilet ball valve that wouldn't shut off. Plumber turned up, was there for two minutes and said he didn't have the part with him but would check with his supplier and call back. I received no callback, but found the valve myself in the local Screwfix for £7. I called them back to say I would sort it myself but was told that the £168 call out charge would still apply and now had VAT added taking the charge to over £200! Absolute cowboys AVOID AVOID AVOID!
Quick call out response, and friendly plumber who cleaned up after himself and seems to have done a good job.The only possible negative aspect is the labour charge which seems a lot to me, but admittedly, I don't know general cost that other companies charge. Glad to have got the job done anyway. Thank you.
The only point I would make is that when I reported That there was a fault with the power shower your phone operator explained your procedures, timescales in detail. I asked about the eventuality that the pump might be faulty and need a repair if possible. He said that you deal with these things every day and the engineer would sort it. When you engineer arrived and analysed the situation he and I came to the conclusion that it was the pump that was faulty. The point I wish to make is that power pumps are a sealed unit and cannot be repaired. They have to be replaced if faulty. Your staff need to understand this. The pump in question was a Salamander pump about 6/7 years old
Brilliant service. Probably slightly pricier than phoning a standard plumber, but you're paying for speed and convenience. I had a problem with my kitchen and bathroom sinks. Phoned Rightio at 9, plumber was here just after 11 and both problems fixed within an hour.
